HuffPost Grinches Denounce Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Nothing is so ideologically pure that it cannot be denounced for political incorrectness, especially if it is associated with Christmas — not even Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer:

HuffPost accused the film of racism, sexism, homophobia, and every sort of bigotry — not realizing that the movie actually condemns these attitudes toward “misfits.”

The movie is rife with scenes of marginalization, but HuffPost takes them absurdly out of context.

Rudolph’s father Donner “verbally abuses him”; Santa Claus mocks Donner for his son’s nose; the school coach encourages bullying; Donner forbids his wife from joining the search for his son, saying: “No. This is man’s work”; Rudolph’s girlfriend Clarice has a bigoted father; and “even the elf is an outcast for wanting to be a dentist.” …

But the movie doesn’t end there. In fact, “Rudolph” has the main character and his elf friend prove themselves, and receive honor — and heartfelt apologies — from Santa, Donner, and the insulting elf. … [T]he bullying was not the point — the vindication was the point.

That won’t do for HuffPost social justice warriors.

It’s … not enough unless the bullies are trampled and the marginalized take power.

Otherwise, the lesson is supposedly that “deviation from the norm will be punished unless it is exploitable,” as a moonbat featured by HuffPost puts it.

This comes from totalitarians who proudly proclaim they have zero tolerance for anything that deviates in the slightest degree from the ever more restrictive norms of political correctness.

Ludicrous yuletide propaganda from HuffPost.

On a tip from J.

Well the Huff’n’puff got the part about “deviation from the norm will not be tolerated”. Unfortunately their norm is point and shriek, followed by fling poo.

You’d think with all the actual horror going on in the world, the Huffington Post would actually, you know have something important to write about; but no, much easier to send some more slings & arrows towards Christmas, the least wonderful time of the year for miserable Leftists & their ilk.

They should rename it the HuffPast – a readership comprised of aging hippies, stoners and layabouts.

Huffington Post is what happens when the inmates are given access to the internet.

they just have to keep inventing stuff to be outraged about because there is so very little to be outraged about.

When, oh when, are any of them going to be outraged about the slaughter in the poor neighborhoods by and against young black males??

Arianna Huffington used to be right wing, but she was pushed to the left by everyone asking her to say “Oliver” and laughing. She sounds exactly like Ava Gabor.
