Lifestyles of the Rich and Liberal

With the economy stalling and our embassies under siege across the world, Obama has a lot more on his schedule than having his hindquarters nuzzled by David Letterman. From a report yesterday on his busy schedule:

Nix the flags and the podium. Cue the opulent 18-foot tower of gold-bottled French champagne.

When President Obama addresses an elite roster of hipsters and multimillionaires, including hosts Beyoncé and Jay-Z, in New York tonight, he will do so next to a custom-designed tower of $800-per-bottle champagne that dominates the main room at Jay-Z’s 40/40 nightclub.

The 350-bottle champagne tower — designed by Jeffrey Beers — is a monument to Jay-Z’s favorite bubbly, Armand de Brignac, which is known colloquially by rappers, clubgoers and connoisseurs as Ace of Spades because of its gold-spade label.

Details of the party are “under lock and key” according to a White House representative.

All the campaign would say yesterday was that the president would speak to about 100 people at the $40,000-per-person event, after addressing 200 donors at a $12,500-per-family reception at the Waldorf.

Meanwhile, the media continues to hammer Romney with Marxist rhetoric for being in league with the rich.

On a tip from Shawn.

How did that old song go…?

(In the voice of Bugs Bunny: )
“Ne-ro, he was the ruler, the palace was his home.
But he liked to play with ma-atches, an’ for a fie-yerr yearned,
So he boint Rome to a-ashes,
    an’ fid-dled whilst it boined…”

    Somethin’ like that…

Maybe someone will video tape the event and Obama will have another one of those “clinging to their god and guns” moments

  3. StanInTexas says:

Sinister, what would that matter? Obama could sacrific puppies and Supreme Court Justices to the Flying Spaghetti-Monster during that fundraiser, and the media would continue to screech at Romney for telling the truth.

Hell, he ate dogs in Indonesia and noone in the media cared. The list of things the media ignored is too long to mention: Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, his college transcripts, his travels to Pakistan as a young man, and on and on..

I wish a certain party WAS under lock and key!

The SS Obama is taking on more water from leaks that his Regime received threats and intelligence circulating before the Libyan attack, including a direct threat on the embassy in Cairo, but failed to increase security throughout the region, despite the upcoming 9/11 anniversary. The man’s a master of foreign policy alright, guess he was just too busy planning Jay-Z’s soierre.

“Fox News has obtained a three-page intelligence report showing that two days before the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, a statement incited “sons of Egypt” to pressure America to release the so-called blind sheikh “even if it requires burning the embassy down with everyone in it.”

The DHS report, released on Sept. 11, said an “unidentified user” on an Arabic-language forum posted the statement “inciting Egyptians to target the U.S. Embassy, indicating the U.S. Embassy shouldn’t remain in Egypt” until Omar Abdel-Rahman, also known as the blind sheikh, is released. Abdel-Rahman, who played a role in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other attacks, is serving a life sentence in U.S. prison.

The DHS document described the source of the warning as “fairly reliable.”

The Sept. 9 statement said “the time has come for a strong movement from you, O sons of Egypt, to release the detained” sheikh. “Let your slogan be: No to the American Embassy in Egypt until our detained sheikh is released.”

It continued: “Starting now, let the faithful among you form follow-up committees in charge of taking the necessary measures to force America to release the sheikh — even if it requires burning the embassy down with everyone in it.”

In addition to the threat over the sheikh, Reuters reported earlier this week that a U.S. cable on Sept. 10 warned the U.S. Embassy in Cairo of possible violence over the anti-Islam film.

Asked about that alleged warning, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney stressed Tuesday that everything is “under investigation in terms of what precipitated the attacks.”

It saddens me to think that what we see as the “entertainment industry” has so much invested in this Palestinian post-turtle we’re saddled with as the CEO of this country.

Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and so on, and the saddest fact is that these entertainers are famous because all ethnicities enjoy their music, not just one kind…and I hate to say it, but their connection to our President is more about his skin than his actual function.

I miss the good old days, when an entertainer would be ashamed or outraged if they even looked at a communist.

The BO administration seems to have slammed the toilet lid down on Moose’s multi-million dollar vacations for the time being.

She hasn’t been seen globe-hopping with her 200 moocher entourage lately.

Maybe she’s moving them around clandestinely in tractor trailers.

  9. Grunt says:

Yeah, C2MG, but until this is literally in the face of every person out there, everyone’s under the impression that some video is to blame for the Embassy in Bhengazi.

Not like the lamestream media’s gonna give that any air soon, we know that.

Romney was talking out of his ass and is back peddling now.

  11. Grunt says:

Point is, Romney is correct. The takers don’t wanna stop getting their free lunches and Obama et al are the ones who will get their vote to ensure the makers will cover their expenses.

It’s like feeding stray cats. And the notion that less than six percent of the “taking class” are the SSI/Disability/Welfare moochers is absurd. That six percent must be freaking monstrous.

Fact is, I’m sick to death of seeing obese, herds-of-kids chicks (any colour, I don’t care) with satellite daddies that have the money for iPhones and tats and piercings, their kids wear…I dunnoh, what’s a fancy ghetto-chic brand of clothes?…Baby Phat and Bapes or Timbalands while folks who work for their dime have to eat ground beef and wear what’s on sale at Wal*Mart.

Sadly, Romney is showing some serious lack of cajones to even waste his time backpedaling to these, the lowest common denominator. He made a statement, it’s true, he should stand on it.

Obama has done no less; he paid for his base by undoing welfare reform, he buys votes with forced bennies, and free cel phones. Obama knows who that speaks to, as do the folks who arrange these things.

That’s outside of all the little perks that have been granted, provisions that have been made if you skin has the right concentrations of melanin.Once again…it speaks volumes of a man who has to use his political weight because even he lacks the faith in those he considers his “own” to make it on their merits.

  13. Grunt says:

    your skin, not “you skin”…pardon.
