Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss — Except Worse

Let’s check in again on the Arab Spring that has liberals so enthused:

Egypt’s ruling party is paying gangs of thugs to sexually assault women protesting in Cairo’s Tahrir Square against President Mohamed Morsi, activists said.

They also said the Muslim Brotherhood is paying gangs to beat up men who are taking part in the latest round of protests, which followed a decree by President Morsi to give himself sweeping new powers.

It comes as the Muslim Brotherhood co-ordinated a demonstration [Saturday] in support of President Mohamed Morsi, who is rushing through a constitution to try to defuse opposition fury over his newly expanded powers.

As noted earlier, this constitution is a sharia-affirming recipe for tyranny.

Magda Adly, the director of the Nadeem Centre for Human Rights, observes that “the Muslim Brotherhood have the same political approaches as Mubarak” when it comes to roughing up and/or sexually assaulting protestors.

The difference between Morsi and Mubarak? Morsi is an Islamist with obvious terrorist sympathies, clearly hostile to the USA and Israel. Mubarak was a loyal US ally who at least helped keep the region stable. That is why Mubarak got Obama’s knife in his back, whereas Morsi has received his support.

THB, the same thing could be said for iraq. Under Saddam, the women were free to wear their hair open, there were liquor stores and Christians, Jews and other minorities were reasonably safe and protected.

    Alas, no more.

Besides, iraq was a great deterrent for iran.

    Alas, no more.

More Arab Spring, this time from Arizona:

Iraqi refugee arrested for bombing Arizona Social Security office with IED, media silence ensues

Oh yeah, those “refugees” Obama loves to import! bring them all in!

We need a new planet to get away from liberals and their “refugees” and “undocumented workers”!

UPDATE #2: Please note that the Daily Kos was first out of the gate, blaming the bombing on “right-wing extremism”:

Today, At about 8:30 AM, it appears a small explosive was detonated at the rear door of a Social Security office in Casa Grande, AZ. Thankfully, nobody was injured. It is still early, and we cannot say that it is a political act, or even be sure that this is an act of domestic terrorism, but it does seem likely.

Assuming this is a bombing, and that the bombing was conducted by a right wing zealot opposed to big government (neither of which we know for sure), I think we are seeing the start of something that I have seen coming for awhile.

Daily Kos: Have narrative, will blog.

I wonder where the National Organization for Women is on this one? As a committed leftist organization they were silent about the continuous sexual escapades of Bill Clinton. They railed against the war in Afghanistan but were silent on the treatment of women there so I suspect they will remain good and faithful little Nazi’s and not utter a peep about roving bands of rape gangs in Egypt because that would offend their allies the Islamo-fascists.

So, if Musri is so bad, do something about. Send the secular opposition of Egypt money.
