Moonbat Corporations Evade Taxes

One of the many unendearing attributes of liberals is that although they will always vote to raise other people’s taxes, they will go to great lengths to avoid paying taxes themselves. This is true not only at the individual but at the corporate level. Google, Amazon, and Starbucks are among the most conspicuously liberal corporations in America. Hypocritically yet unsurprisingly,

British lawmakers on Monday accused major multinational companies of aggressive tax avoidance, amid calls by the U.K. government for a global crackdown on firms that seek to evade taxes.

In sometimes bitter exchanges at a three-hour parliamentary committee hearing, legislators questioned Starbucks, Google and Amazon about the amount they pay to the U.K. government in taxation.

Taxes are for someone else to pay — and keep paying until they have been bled dry. Obama ran on that as an economic platform, gambling successfully that the public is sufficiently morally debased to support it.

Companies operating in Europe can base themselves in any of the 27 European Union nations, allowing them to take advantage of a particular country’s low tax rates.

Actually they are unwittingly proving a basic theory of economics liberals deny.

They will probably RAISE tax rates even more

They will fail to realize taxes generated from wages paid and their economic activity alone until after they are shown the door.
Or these rich libs could volunteer to pay more (cough cough hack hack)

  2. TruthBeTold says:

    Tax evasion is treason.

  3. Winston Smith says:

As tax rates rise tax evasion increases – even amongst Moonbats. Even amongst those moonbats who pay the taxes required, they claim they want to pay more in taxes themselves but never actually put their money where their mouths are and send in checks for what they claim they owe in additional to what the current taxes are.

Thats the reason why Obama, Reid and Pelosi did not raise upper income tax rates in late 2010 before the Republicans majority took their seats in January 2011. I say (waiting until the very end of December) the Republicans call their bluff and also forde them to decide what areas of the budget to cut. Let 100% of the blame for what happens next fall on the DemoNcRats.

Then when people scream loud enough and vote a Republican Senate in 2014 reverse the tax increases. Or sooner if the Moonbat Messiah is forced into it by Greek style mobs advancing on the Whitehouse.

I support tax avoidance and tax evasion. As for the UK’s complaints I don’t care; any revenues they get go to a failing society that gives asylum and welfare to muslim immigrants. In the US we’ve got a rogue government. People are right not to feed it. Yes, it burns me up that I have to pay some in taxes while people like that colored female that shouted “Romney sucks, obama gave me a free sail fawn” pay nothing.

  5. Doug says:

Hey Google, Starbucks, what’s the matter? Don’t you realize that the more taxes you pay the more of this we get?

Get with it you “social conservative Bible thumpers!”

  6. numnut says:

GE, Halliburton, and most other mil-contractors are not paying taxes either.
    Heck GE got millions back.
    Still treason?

I saw a couple of those petitions to exile or strip citizenship from those signing the petitions to secede. Yeah, that’s the idea, dumbass, but I’m not moving.
