Moonbat: It’s the Outside of the Bubble That Is the Bubble

On the same day that Meryl Streep threw Hollyweird’s elitist contempt for the rest of the country into overdrive during her Golden Globes speech, an obscure writer named Patrick Nathan issued the following tweet in defense of Tinseltown:

That is, the outside of the bubble is the bubble, because it is full of icky Americans and white people. The entertainment industry β€” which explicitly exists to create fantasies to help the people outside of it kill their spare time β€” is the real world. The folks who create the actual wealth that finances frivolities like movies are just fantasy creatures, living in a land of delusion.

Moonbats may control all the major institutions, but that hasn’t stopped them from marginalizing themselves toward irrelevance.

On a tip from Torcer.

Hollywood is the West Coast Home for Has Beens and the Politically Retarded.
Out here in the Bubble is where reality lives and speaks from. Patrick Nathan is no one and will stay that way until he grows up, or moves to Canada.

Try doing that when a stay in ‘La Tumba’ is a possibility, then we’ll talk

I think we can live without “message pictures”, sequels and remakes that SUCK, Miss. Streep.
I’ve said before that the studios should shut down except for the department that restores and distributes the old movies.

“Hollywood isn’t a bubble. It’s a nexus of people from all over the world coming together to make art…”

Is that “art” like the so-called ‘art’ “P*ss Christ”, where moonbat ‘artist’ Andres Serrano (who received US government support in the form of an endowment from the now-infamous National Endowment for the Arts) immersed a crucifix in a jar of urine?

Follywood is living The Matrix. They are inside the fantasy which has become real to them. Meanwhile, the real world is out here going to work, raising kids, paying taxes.

FIND, good word, because there is no intelligence behind it, so FIND is a very good word to describe it.

I STILL cannot understand WHY they would expect US to give a damn what they have to say. Their profession doesn’t require intelligence, just an ability to memorize and PRETEND (lie). NOT to make decisions.

I have noticed that also, that’s because they are so wrapped in agenda they have lost all creativity, so use to being told what to do by their puppet master’s they CAN’T make anything NEW themselves!

  15. TED says:

Streep, this is PURE Deja Moo: The feeling that you’ve heard this BULL before.

Most of the time, they don’t even memorize the script.

  17. Mr. Freemarket says:

Surely the Canadians would appreciate having Ms. Streep join their fine nation, since we yokels are undeserving of her great talent.
