Moonbat Jihad Against Gender-Specific Toys

The ideology of our liberal ruling class is so grotesquely unnatural that parents must begin very early to instill effective indoctrination. Gender-specific toys make this task difficult, and therefore must be done away with:

This holiday season, overly-gender-specific toys are a hot button issue. The Butterfly Beauty Shop from Lego’s Friends line has drawn the ire of a group called the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood.

They’ve nominated it for one of their “TOADY” (Toys Oppressive And Destructive to Young Children) award, saying it’s “so jam-packed with condescending stereotypes it would even make Barbie blush.”

Lego did not immediately respond to a request for comment. But previously, in response to the criticism which began late last year, Lego officials said in a statement that their “goal with LEGO Friends is to engage more girls in the positive benefits of construction play.”

Not good enough, LEGO. Be more like Sweden:

In contrast, in Sweden, the Top Toys group just published a catalog of gender-neutral toy images, showing girls playing with toy guns and boys with blow dryers.

Closer to home, moonbats are petitioning Hasbro to change the “packaging and color options” on the Easy Bake Oven so as to encourage boys to play with them.

Considering that our own upbringing produced a generation that would elect Bathhouse Barry president, imagine what the future holds if moonbats continue to prevail.

A generation of boys who grew up learning to shoot a .22 as a kid went on to become the men who won two world wars, stopped communism, and elected Ronald Reagan.

    Today’s “Bronies” are a disgrace.

  2. Jodie says:

I would have loved to receive a Butterfly Beauty Shop when I was a young girl and I’m pretty sure my daughter would have too!

Idiots like the TOADY freaks will not be satisfied until every child is gender neutral and/or gay.

Here’s a gift idea for the boys:

I do not understand what TOADY thinks that this product is “so jam-packed with condescending stereotypes it would even make Barbie blush.”???

Are there not female and male hairdressers?

  5. Doug says:

Whoda thunk that ‘nurturing’ play is destructive towards girls and that playing ‘evil capitalist real estate developer’ was positive?

The twisted mind of liberals never ceases to astound.

  6. Winston Smith says:

Butterfly Beauty Shop needs pair of M-134 mini-guns mounted on the roof manned by paramilitary mercenaries and an fully stocked armory out back. And those dolls need camo uniforms and sawed off shotguns and .45s on belts around their waists to deal with unruly customer along with a couple of bouncers with Uzis.

IMO every kid is different. Let them play with what they want to (within reason). Just about every toy has something a kid can learn from it.

I was a bit of a tomboy and enjoyed playing with toys marketed to boys, and also enjoyed sports and fishing. So the picture of a girl playing with a toy gun does not bother me in the slightest. As a kid I likely would have wanted one of those – it looks like fun. I still had some “girl” toys too and played with a mix of things.

I am also not bothered by boys playing with “girl toys”, especially if he is say, playing a game with a female friend or relative. Maybe he’ll practice good parenting or housekeeping skills, which is something he will need as an adult.

My young sons love to help with housekeeping (going to enjoy THAT while it lasts…) As such, I imagine they would really enjoy something like a toy vacuum or a play kitchen. That being said, they both love their LEGOS, trucks, and sports.

Of course boys and girls are different, but playing with toys geared toward the other gender from time to time will not hurt kids.

Obsession (such as bronies) is something else altogether, as is pushing a gender neutral agenda. Boys and girls are different both in body and mind, and no amount of misguided wishful thinking will change that.

  8. Jimbo says:

    Okay, I’ll play.

Firearms are not gender specific. Nor is ammo. This Christmas Season, give the gift of the great equalizer – give the gift of self preservation.

  9. Jimbo says:

FYI – I already gave my daughter and her husband their gift: a Beretta FS with 3 spare mags and 1,000 rounds. They were SO excited!

  10. Spider says:

She’s lucky to have a dad like Jimbo!

For those who haven’t been paying attention, what the Left wants is a “gender-neutral” society so that gays will “feel more comfortable”. That’s what’s been behind the “feminization” of the American male.

  11. KHarn says:

COMMUNIST countrys demand “gender neutrality”; in the eyes “the masses” are just COGS in the revolutionary machine, not HUMANS.

  12. A. Levy says:

You are all quite right but, none of it works without a weak, gullible, and sheepish population who distract themselves with “digital anesthesia”, such as twitter, facebook, texting, etc., all of which are instigated by both the media and the govt. since those things serve both their purposes. And that purpose is, to keep the sheep calm and quiet.

  13. Clingtomyguns says:

It boils liberals blood that Dr. Phil has rejected this gender confusion social engineering insanity:

“Direct your son in an unconfusing way. Don’t buy him Barbie dolls or girl’s clothes. You don’t want to do things that seem to support the confusion at this stage of the game … Take the girl things away, and buy him boy toys.”

As with everything else that in America that still has remnants of the decent, moral and good, such as the Boy Scouts, faithfulness, sprituality, private charities, private education, gun ownership, small businesses, backyard bar-b-ques, etc., progressives want to do away with it all, so that when two old rug munchers next desecrate the West Point Chapel with a lezbo wedding, nary an eye will blink.

  14. Spartan24 says:

I loved playing with legos and I had a BB gun when I was about 10 so both “toy” guns and legos are “gender neutral” as far as I’m concerned.

  15. 762x51 says:

The unisex/metrosexual Brony future is one I do not wish to live in. Better to die fighting than to live in that hell on Earth.

  16. AC says:

Dr. Phil is a gun grabber.

  17. Clam bake says:

No wonder kids grow up and there too confused to know which hole to stick their dick in.

  18. James McEnanly says:

How well does an Easy Oven™ work once the incandescent bulb that used to save as its heating element has been replaced by one of the new energy efficient bulbs? Also, could it be adapted to hardening plastics and other materials as part of a construction set?

  19. James McEnanly says:

In that last post ‘save’ should be ‘serve’

  20. Alan says:

Small wonder Muslim immigrants use European women, especially Swedes, for rape practice. The men have been too pussyfied to stop them.
