NASA: Insufficient Moonbattery Could End Civilization

Once NASA placed men on the moon. Those were very different times. Under Obama, NASA administrator Charles Boldin has famously proclaimed that the “foremost” objective of the space agency is Muslim outreach. Since NASA has become primarily a propaganda service rather than a scientific agency, its downward trajectory has continued. Its latest foremost objective is apparently the same as a college liberal arts department’s: to spit up moonbattery.

Rather than explore the final frontier, NASA scientists, or rather bureaucrats, currently explore their own navels. They have discovered not only lint, but that past great civilizations have collapsed just like ours is doing.

If we’re to avoid their fate, we’ll need policies to reduce economic inequality and preserve natural resources, according to a NASA-funded study that looked at the collapses of previous societies.

Our world will end if we don’t reject the principles that made America wealthy and strong and instead embrace neo-Marxism and environmental extremism. By a remarkable coincidence, these happen to comprise the domestic agenda of the Obama Regime, which controls the NASA funding that has not yet been diverted to entitlement programs.

In unequal societies, researchers said, “collapse is difficult to avoid…. Elites grow and consume too much, resulting in a famine among Commoners that eventually causes the collapse of society.” …

Meanwhile, resources continue to be used up…

…also causing collapse. We have already run out of most major resources, including food. Just go back in time and ask any liberal from 1970.

The study was sponsored by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and headed by the National Science Foundation’s Safa Motesharrei.

Whether Swami Motesharrei knows how to operate a slide rule is irrelevant in today’s NASA, which won’t be exploring any worlds more distant than the far side of the office parking lot under current leadership.

Fortunately there is a way to escape the doom hanging over us like the Sword of Damocles:

“Collapse can be avoided, and population can reach a steady state at the maximum carrying capacity, if the rate of depletion of nature is reduced to a sustainable level, and if resources are distributed equitably,” reads the report.

That is, the solution is coercive redistribution of wealth à la Marx combined with the deliberate lowering of our standard of living through repression of productive economic activity. Thank goodness we are on the right track under Obama.

Rather amusing that moonbats always whine about economic inequality being a destabilizing force in society. After all, feudalism was stable for over a thousand years. How’s liberal democracy looking after only two hundred and change?

Tell a liberal from 1970 about the Union of Soviet United States Republics and see if they’ll believe you when you wonder whether those capitalist Russian cowboys we’ll eventually have to bail us out.
