NYU Students Cannot Distinguish Between Democrat Party Platform and Communist Manifesto

Can you tell the difference between the Democrat Party platform and The Communist Manifesto? Then you are smarter than the average student at New York University, as Ami Horowitz discovered:

This game will become easier as the Democrat Party continues to move past even Marxism toward previously unimagined extremes of demented and tyrannical moonbattery.

I have a hard line democrat friend and I asked him to give me one difference between the democrat party platform and the communist party platform. This was before Christmas. I still await his reply.

Maybe the NYU students should spend more time learning what the Democratic party is actually doing, instead of listening to megalomaniacal, self absorbed sanctimony from the party leaders.

And that’s the correct answer to all of the questions really. The phrasing may differ, but the underlying philosophy is the same, Some examples to illustrate:

    EXAMPLE 1:
In a speech given in Buffalo, NY on January 20, 1999, Bill Clinton was asked why not a tax cut if we have a surplus. Clinton’s response:

“We could give it all back to you and hope you spend it right… But … if you don’t spend it right, here’s what’s going to happen”.

In other words, you pathetic little peons can’t be trusted to spend the money you’ve earned from the fruits of your labor, so it should be up to us, in the ruling class to decide that for you.

    EXAMPLE 2:
Hillary Clinton, Speech at Democratic Fundraiser, June 2004:

“Many of you are well enough off that … the tax cuts may have helped you. We’re saying that for America to get back on track, we’re probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good”.

In other words, your money is not your money really, and WE the elite get to decide what is the “common good”. Pure Marxism.

    EXAMPLE 3:

Barack Obama, in an April 2010 speech in Quincy, Ill.:

“We’re not, we’re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that’s fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money”.

In other words, there should be limits to everyone’s level of financial success, established by WE the elite class. This line of reasoning is often suggested by statements like, “….beyond a certain amount of wealth, you really don’t NEED anymore…”. And just WHO gets to decide how much each of us need? Somewhere in Hell, Karl Marx is smiling…..

EXAMPLE 4: Lyawatha Warren…about six years ago in a speech in Andover Mass.

“I hear all this, you know, “Well, this is class warfare, this is whatever.”—No! There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody.
You built a factory out there—good for you! But I want to be clear.
You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for.
You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate”.

In other words, without government, the entrepreneur that built the factory would have no chance for success. Granny Liz seems to forget, that without the owner taking the risks to build the business, there would be no income for him nor all of his workers, and hence no income tax, no property and state taxes to pay for the roads and schools. Additionally, there would be no corporate tax. Technically, business could flourish without oppressive government, but oppressive government cannot survive without business as there would be no money to pay for it.

    I love it…
The typical Bernie Bro’s circular logic in pictorial form! There’s your “clean power” that they’re always yammering about…Completely eliminates the need for those evil fossil fuels…lol

  11. Jodie says:

“Virtue means doing the right thing, in relation to the right person, at
the right time, to the right extent, in the right manner, and for the
right purpose. Thus, to give money away is quite a simple task, but for
the act to be virtuous, the donor must give to the right person, for the
right purpose, in the right amount, in the right manner, and at the
    right time.”

And that is why I donate to Thanks Dave for all you do!

  12. Jester says:

I love how all those liberals always, always add the all-important “IC” on the end of “Democrat”, as if we (and they) actually still believe that Democrats are actually democratic, even after the video proves that Democrats are no different from the opposite of democratic, which is communism. Too funny.
