Obama Reelection Strategy: Voter Fraud

He sure can’t run on his record, and people already proved to the media they aren’t “racists” by electing him in the first place despite his obvious lack of qualifications, so what makes Obama think he can get a four-year extension on his “fundamental transformation” of America? Two words: voter fraud. Via Stand With Arizona:

Democrats facing a tough election year are on the warpath — doing everything in their power to stop Voter ID laws in their tracks. The Obama Department of Justice has declared war on Texas and South Carolina — inventing non-existent “racial discrimination” to block popular voter ID laws in those states.

And always, we hear the bleating of activists that “there’s no significant voter fraud in America.” Meanwhile, Democrat officials (and their activist allies) are routinely caught committing it. And Roger Hedgecock detailed the extensive effort by the Democrats in 2010 to commit massive fraud in California in his must-read piece, Stealing the Election of 2012.

And now, an exceptional reporter in Florida has uncovered shocking fraud in that state — registration and voting by non-citizens — which officials had no idea was occurring, since they are prohibited from asking immigration status under the fraud-machine called the Motor Voter Act of 1993.

NBC-2 Tampa reporter Andy Pierrotti deserves serious kudos for conducting a two-month investigation that found non-citizens voting in Florida Elections. His report came just two days after the Tampa Bay Times claimed voter fraud in Florida was nonexistent.

The abovementioned Motor Voter Act was explicitly intended to get as many welfare recipients on the voter roles as possible. Since those who register at the welfare office are prevented by their shiftlessness not only from working but from casting a ballot (only 5% of them actually vote), others cast the ballots on their behalf. One of Obama’s very few political achievements prior to his abrupt rise to the White House was suing to defend the Motor Voter Act on behalf of the notorious voter fraud outfit ACORN, foreshadowing his current election strategy.

Meanwhile, anyone even tangentially linked to attempts to defend the integrity of our electoral process is subject to ferocious attacks:

Democratic officials Wednesday launched [an] attack on states with new laws requiring identification before voting, the highlight being a call to boycott Coke, Walmart and others that back a leading organization pushing for voter ID laws.

Coke was quick to react to the political boycott threat, pulling support from the targeted group just five hours after it was called. Walmart said that support for a group does not mean it backs every decision by those groups.

By current corporate standards, this qualifies as courage on the part of Walmart, although it will always be hated by liberals anyway for resisting unionization and for catering to normal Americans. The weenies running Coca-Cola are beneath contempt.

In caving into the economic threats, Coke told Secrets: “The Coca-Cola Company has elected to discontinue its membership with the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Our involvement with ALEC was focused on efforts to oppose discriminatory food and beverage taxes, not on issues that have no direct bearing on our business. We have a long-standing policy of only taking positions on issues that impact our Company and industry.”

Right: like global warming.

Who is behind the boycott?

Officials from [a Democrat] party-backed group, Color of Change, kicked off a boycott of Coke and other financial backers of the American Legislative Exchange Council which supports new voter ID laws.

Color of Change was cofounded by Van Jones, an avowed communist and “rowdy black nationalist” who was driven out of the Obama Administration when Glenn Beck publicized his extremely disturbing radicalism. Countries where folks like Jones have consolidated power have a saying about voting: “One man, one vote, one time.” But for now, it will be “One illegal alien or welfare bum, any number of votes, every time there’s an election.”

Van Jones: Still doing his part for Obama.

Democrats have two mantra’s they use.

The first is in response to Conservatives initiatives to lessen or eliminate voter fraud… “The is NO voter fraud and you are a racist for even suggesting it.”

The second is directed at their Democrat constituancy… “Vote Early, Vote OFTEN!!!”

  2. Spider says:

“who was driven out of the Obama Administration?”

What makes you think he ever left? He’s still strongly connected to the Marxist-in-Chief as an “advisor”.

  3. AC says:

If the Motor Voter Act requires states to allow the disinterested to register to vote when getting a state ID, then what is the burden in showing that ID when they go to the polls to make good on their Motor Voter registration?

    *crickets from the left*

  4. AlphaMail says:

Especially if they drive to the polls

  5. Festivus says:

Weren’t these laws passed by democratically elected congresses?

  6. John says:

There is virtually no voter fraud in the U.S. Experts agree.

Voter ID laws are merely meant to suppress the votes of legitimate poor and marginalized voters.

So, the real truth is that Repbublicans increasingly can only win by suppressing the vote because demographic trends are against them.

  7. Festivus says:

John, please enlighten us as to how Voter ID laws “suppress the votes of legitmate poor and marginalized voters”?

Do you also dismiss those news accounts that have been posted in the links? Who are these “U.S. experts” – Jimmy Carter?

  8. Brian_Boru says:

Let’s not forget the dead folks who will be voting again this year for Democrats. Why do you think the inner-city folks are so eager to become embalmers and funeral directors?

  9. StanInTexas says:

John, WHAT EXPERTS? Provide proof of your statement.

In the meantime, some reading material for you…

  10. Jimbo says:

To liberals, the means ALWAYS justifies the ends. Cheating, lying, stealing are not immoral to stinking liberals.

    John’s post @ April 5, 2012 at 9:1 = “Baghdad Bob”

  12. Wilberforce says:

You know what else would be a big help in this coming election? If American votes were counted and stored by a foreign company. Feel secure that no shenanigans will take place?

  13. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

See, John is telling you he will be disenfranchised if he can only vote once

  14. John says:

There is no credible evidence of voter fraud in the U.S. Really.

  15. StanInTexas says:

The New York Times is your “expert”? Have you even botherd yourself to read the documented cases of voter fraud that we have provided for you?

Or are you content to stick your fingers in your ears and scream “LALALALALALALA” as you run away from the truth?

  16. Festivus says:

Oh, the NYT says it’s so! OK, I’m convinced!

  17. Wilberforce says:

I’m pretty sure John is joking. At least, I hope so.

  18. StanInTexas says:

Hey John, in your first post, you stated “Voter ID laws are merely meant to suppress the votes of legitimate poor and marginalized voters.

    Can you explain HOW?

  19. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

If a tree falls in the forest, and the NY Times fails to hear it………

  20. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

Because of same day registration and vouching, no place needs Voter ID more than Minnesota
With nearly 200 recent voter fraud convictions,Minnesota is now leading the nation in convictions for voter fraud. Not a very noble distinction. Worse, it wasn’t our election system that caught the fraud, but an outside non-profit organization.

  21. Brian_Boru says:

Become an embalmer or funeral director and for the commie candidate a thousand times over.

  22. Festivus says:

John is most likely a student in northeast Canada completing a homework assignment given by his teacher who is presently absent for a few days.

  23. Joe says:

Minnesota’s a joke. That’s how that little douchebag stewart smalley got elected. They found more votes for him in some districts than there were registered voters in those districts. How is that possible? Prison for him, soon.

  24. Dr. 9 says:

Funny how blacks, or at least the professional race-pimps that speak for them, are complaining about the voter ID “law” when it actually has nothing to do with them. Do they complain when they have to show photo ID to get on welfare? No!

The Marxist-in-Chief, the MSM, and the rest of the Left are fighting this for one reason. If it becomes a national law, they will lose tens-of-millions of votes from illegals, a group they are bending over backwards to pander to. And, if it does not become a national law, that means foreigners who are here illegally will eventually take control of our political system, even moreso than they already have.

“Demanding” this law be passed nationally is a perfect opportunity for the American people to show just how much they want to keep their country. We’ll see.

  25. Spider says:

As i’ve said all along, the election of 2012 will be THE MOST corrupt in our history. In fact, we’re seeing signs of already. The Demoncrats know they can’t win an honest election, not with what their boy Obummer has done to the country. The only question now is, will the American sheeple allow the MSM to sell them Obummer, again? The Left is counting (once again) on mindless gullible, voters. Are they right?

  26. StanInTexas says:

    Dr. 9,

Isn’t it interesting that the Obama Administration wants me to PROVE I have health insurances, but thinks that proving I’m an eligible voter is RAAAAAAAAACIT!!!!

  27. joeh says:

Van Jones is doing more than a little part for Obambi. Remember that he was the green czar? He is responsible for that $60 BILLION down the tubes for green “energy.” I hope he rots in prison.

  28. AC says:

If an ID requirement is an impermissible barrier to exercising the constitutional right to vote, then an ID requirement should also be held to be an impermissible barrier to exercising your constitutional rights found in the Second Amendment.

    How about that, moonbats?

Where is the outrage over the poor and marginalized voters who can’t cash a check without photo ID? Where is the outrage over the poor and marginalized voters who can’t board an airplane because of no photo ID?

Where is the outrage over the poor and marginalized voters who are not able to buy alcohol or tobacco because they can’t produce photo ID to verify their age?

AC, you are my hero. Why must any citizen produce any ID to exercise their 2nd amendment rights? The poor and marginalized voters tend to live in unsafe neighborhoods, have to walk or take public transport to get to work (that whole e-Verify thing might have some photo ID requirement, too)….but I digress. Don’t the poor and disadvantaged have a right to self defense?

  30. Brian_Boru says:

Dead people account for almost ALL of the voter fraud, and yet no one here mentions them at all.

  31. Wilberforce says:

Or to employ the left’s own language, “Why do you hate the right to vote/self-defense, etc? Ugh.

  32. AC says:

The left has a fallback strategy – nominate a Massachusetts moonbat as the GOP nominee, ensuring that statist progressivism and the growth of government prevails regardless of who wins at the ballot box.

  33. Wilberforce says:

Exactly, AC. Do people ever stop to think why the left chat on about him so, like the progressive school girls that they are? They WANT him to go up against The Big O.

  34. Juan says:

I challenge you, in all the instances cited in the post here at this blog, I saw not one case of voter fraud–that is a situation where someone actually voted fraudulently.

There were forged primary petitions and forged voter registrations. But those are not examples of voter fraud.

So, of all these examples, where is one where someone fraudulently voted. Cite it.

  35. Juan says:

That’s not voter fraud. That’s falsified petitions.

  36. Juan says:

I have not reviewed the links offered as proof of voter fraud here.

There may be a few tens of examples…though I doubt even those.

A few tens in a country of millions? That’s less than a rounding error. Really. Voter fraud is not a problem.

What is a problem is the Republican’s party’s attempts to disenfranchise voters. That has real effects. To the tune of millions.

You’re either deluded or lying if you think otherwise.

  37. Brian_Boru says:

Romney is a vaginal swab and just another progressive.

  38. clarence letouche says:

I know the Bush justice department isn’t the team of go-getters like the editors at Red State and the other “sources” found in these comments, but….

“A major probe by the Justice Department between 2002 and 2007 failed to prosecute a single person for going to the polls and impersonating an eligible voter, which the anti-fraud laws are supposedly designed to stop. Out of the 300 million votes cast in that period, federal prosecutors convicted only 86 people for voter fraud – and many of the cases involved immigrants and former felons who were simply unaware of their ineligibility. A much-hyped investigation in Wisconsin, meanwhile, led to the prosecution of only .0007 percent of the local electorate for alleged voter fraud. “Our democracy is under siege from an enemy so small it could be hiding anywhere,” joked Stephen Colbert. A 2007 report by the Brennan Center for Justice, a leading advocate for voting rights at the New York University School of Law, quantified the problem in stark terms. “It is more likely that an individual will be struck by lightning,” the report calculated, “than that he will impersonate another voter at the polls.”

  40. Jimbo says:

    Spider –
Perhaps the communists are PLANNING widespread and OVERT cheating just so Obamunists can call the election null and void and install the NIC for life.

I wouldn’t put it past the dickwads.

  41. Tom Jones The 9th says:

Requiring ID to vote is racist? And must be boycotted?

    By this logic…

Let’s boycott every airline – because you need ID to board a plane.
Let’s boycott every liquor store – because you need ID to buy alcohol. While we’re at it, let’s boycott every bar.
Let’s boycott every corner store – because you need ID to buy cigarettes.
Let’s boycott every DMV – because you need ID to get a driver’s license.
Let’s boycott every bank – because you need ID to open an account or take out a loan.
Oh yeah, let’s boycott every gun store – because you need ID to purchase firearms. In some states, let’s boycott sports supply stores – because you need ID to buy things like bows and spearguns.
Let’s boycott every federal building – because you need ID to enter.

    And so on…

    Liberal Logic (TM). F***ing idiots.
