What happens when you have Democrats running your budget:

Illinois Comptroller DEMOCRAT Susana Mendoza says that $7.5 billion worth of unpaid bills and $9 billion worth of checks are at her office but being delayed because the state lacks the money to pay them.

All due to Democrats who control the General Assembly forcing a budget stalemate until they got what they wanted – higher taxes.

Everyone’s favorite slut Lena Dunham wrote an op ed titled:

Harvey Weinstein and the Silence of the Men

Never mind that his victims, all women, have been silent for years. How many? No one really knows. Several. Why didn’t Dunham write about that?

In it she tells of alleged fantasies where only women were involved in film or TV projects – isn’t that sexist?

In the fall of 2016 Dunham was asked to do a benefit for Hillary (the loser) Clinton that Weinstein organized. She says she had heard rumors of his despicable behaviors and she felt that going onstage “under his aegis” was a betrayal of her values – so she did it anyway!

She and other women are the reason he did what he did for so long – not silent men. Men by and large didn’t know what he was doing because he wasn’t doing it to them, he was doing it to women, women who remained silent.

And, of course, she says it’s the fault of men the women didn’t speak up.

Miami Police Kill Temple University Student Accused of Running Over Officer

Investigators say Cariann Hithon fled the scene of a crash and ran over an officer before she was shot and killed by police

    Care to guess her race/ethnicity?

Cariann Hithon of Bowie, Maryland, slammed into several cars Sunday evening as people watched from sidewalk cafes in the tourist district known as South Beach.

Video footage showed people standing around the wrecked car, wondering aloud what had happened. Then the BMW suddenly started moving again and took out the officer standing in front of it. Another officer fired three shots into the car.
“It played out like a movie set with people running, screaming, car crashes, gunshots, an injured officer lying on his back on the ground — all within a minute,” retired Miami-Dade homicide detective John Butchko, whose car Hithon hit, told the Miami Herald.
Butchko’s passenger, Miami Beach lawyer Sean Ellsworth, added: “I was literally shocked she would drive into four or five officers. She just floored it.” Ellsworth and Butchko suffered minor injuries.
“One of the cops was in front of the car and when they were yelling at her to get out of the car, she just started the car again,” witness Miguel Garcia said.
Police officers then fired several shots at Hithon’s black BMW, striking her. Cellphone video captured the moment as her car crashed half a block away then as officers rendered aid.
Both Hithon and the officer were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where the woman later died.
The officer, later identified as David Cajuso, was hospitalized in stable condition and later released.

Terrorist Bill Ayres Eulogizes Terrorist Che Guevara on the 50th Anniversary of Che’s Death
“To us, Che was a symbol of boldness, intelligence, internationalism, self-sacrifice, solidarity and, as he said, “at the risk of appearing ridiculous,” love. Che rejected personal gain and privilege for the leaders in a struggle for a fair and just society; he lived as he asked others to live.”(Former Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayres, writing in The Nation. Oct 8th.)
In fact, “Che Guevara’s house was among the most luxurious in Cuba,” wrote Cuban journalist Antonio Llano Montes about the mansion Che Guevara “nationalized” (stole at Soviet gunpoint from rightful owner and moved into) in January 1959.

After a hard day at the office signing firing-squad warrants and blasting teenagers’ skulls apart with the coup-de-grace from his .45, Che Guevara retired to his new domicile just outside Havana on the pristine beachfront. Until a few weeks prior, it had belonged to Cuba’s most successful building contractor. Today, the area is reserved exclusively for tourists and Communist party members. Here’s the rest of the description of Che’s Havana mansion:

”The mansion had a boat dock, a huge swimming pool, seven bathrooms, a sauna, a massage salon and several television sets. One TV had been specially designed in the U.S. and had a screen ten feet wide and was operated by remote control (remember, this was 1959.) This was thought to be the only TV of its kind in Latin America. The mansion’s garden had a veritable jungle of imported plants, a pool with waterfall, ponds filled with exotic tropical fish and several bird houses filled with parrots and other exotic birds. The habitation was something out of A Thousand and One Nights.”
You see, amigos: most who have climbed to positions of authority in Castro’s regime did so as accomplices in mass-murder. In brief, all Castroite military and police officer candidates took their places as firing squad murderers, as explained by Soviet GRU officer Ciutat to the (probably) panting, salivating Che.

Dark secrets of Florida juvenile justice: ‘honey-bun hits,’ illicit sex, cover-ups

The boys had just returned to Module 9 of the Miami juvenile lockup from the dining hall when one of them hit Elord Revolte high and hard. More of the boys jumped in, punching and slamming him over and over, then pile-driving his 135-pound body.

One called it an “A-town Stomp,” and demonstrated to detectives by jumping on the floor with both feet.

Cameras at the Miami-Dade Regional Juvenile Detention Center show the fatal beating of 17-year-old Elord Revolte from two angles. He ends up in a heap on the floor after more than a dozen boys, without warning, punched and stomped him for more than a minute. The State Attorney’s Office said the poor quality of the video equipment hampered its ability to hold anyone accountable.

When Elord rose from the 68-second thrashing — every kick and punch meted out in front of a surveillance camera — he was too angry to know his own hurt. He said all he wanted was to kill the boys who had brutalized him.

Thirty hours later, Elord was the one dead, the result of internal bleeding from that mauling, which two of the youths said was instigated by a detention officer.

Media omit Eminem’s history of bigoted lyrics after anti-Trump freestyle rap

Several news outlets covering musician Eminem’s rap takedown of President Trump neglected to mention the artist’s history of lyrics colored by misogyny and bigotry.

Eminem’s rap was played on a video Tuesday night at the BET Hip Hop Awards and featured the often-controversial artist criticizing Trump on nearly every front, including his feud with the NFL, his disparagement of Sen. John McCain, and even a slight at the rapper’s own fans who might support Trump.

Many reports covering the video described it as a significant moment in a clash between an outspoken celebrity and the president of the United States without noting Eminem’s past lyrics laden with themes like violence against women and anti-gay slurs.

The Associated Press published a brief on the rap video, as did the Washington Post’s “Reliable Source” gossip column. Both made no mention of Eminem’s past lyrics.

In the earlier part of Eminem’s career, he was frequently called out by advocacy groups for his song lyrics, which were often about killing women, calling them “sluts” and calling other male singers “fag.”

The song “Kill You,” featured on Eminem’s self-titled 2000 album, includes the lyrics, “Slut, you think I won’t choke no whore / ‘Til the vocal cords don’t work in her throat no more?”

Akron school district alerts parents about suspicious drone

Akron Public Schools are warning parents about a possible suspicious drone flying around the Windemere Community Learning Center in the city’s Ellet neighborhood.

Windemere Principal Megan Lee-Wilfong sent a letter to families Monday saying a neighbor had reported a drone with “voice technology” talking to children who were playing on school grounds in the evenings and over the weekend.

“Witnesses have claimed that the voice in the drone has attempted to lure children off school grounds,” she wrote in the letter.

“If you are allowing your child to come to school to play in the evenings or on the weekends, please make sure that he/she is accompanied by an adult. I know that children playing at school would seem safe, but without adequate adult supervision, anything can happen,” she continued.

“Hollywood’s ‘most decent fella'” pretending he didn’t know all along what Weinstein was doing.

“I’ve never worked with Harvey,” Mr. Hanks says, after a long pause. “But, aah, it all just sort of fits, doesn’t it?”

Why did Hollywood help shelter him, if everyone knew about the decades of abusive behavior?

“Well, that’s a really good question and isn’t it part and parcel to all of society somehow, that people in power get away with this?” he says. “Look, I don’t want to rag on Harvey but so obviously something went down there. You can’t buy, ‘Oh, well, I grew up in the ’60s and ’70s and so therefore. …” I did, too. So I think it’s like, well, what do you want from this position of power? I know all kinds of people that just love hitting on, or making the lives of underlings some degree of miserable, because they can.”

They think their achievements entitle them, he says, noting: “Somebody great said this, either Winston Churchill, Immanuel Kant or Oprah: ‘When you become rich and powerful, you become more of what you already are.’

“So I would say, there’s an example of how that’s true. Just because you’re rich and famous and powerful doesn’t mean you aren’t in some ways a big fat ass. Excuse me, take away ‘fat.’ But I’m not, you know, I’m not the first person to say Harvey’s a bit of an ass. Poor Harvey — I’m not going to say poor Harvey, Jesus. Isn’t it kind of amazing that it took this long? I’m reading it and I’m thinking ‘You can’t do that to Ashley Judd! Hey, I like her. Don’t do that. That ain’t fair. Not her, come on. Come on!’”

I ask him why Hollywood and Silicon Valley are still such benighted places about women’s rights, with conspiracies of silence about raging sexism and marauding predators.

“Look, I think one of the greatest television shows in the history of television was ‘Mad Men’ because it had absolutely no nostalgia or affection for its period,” Mr. Hanks says. “Those people were screwed up and cruel and mean. And, ‘Hey, wait, that’s going on today? Shouldn’t we be on this?’ Is it surprising? No. Is it tragic? Yes. And can you believe it’s happening? I can’t quite believe that” — here Mr. Hanks uses an expletive — “still goes on.”

(When I ask about Cam Newton’s gender faux pas, Mr. Hanks is more sympathetic. “Now I’ve done that,” he says. “I’m not so far away from ‘Hey, Maureen, how you doing, sweetie?’ ‘Well, look sweetheart.’ ‘Aw, doll baby, I don’t know how to answer that.’ I could have done that in a moment. What’s wrong with having there be a requirement to learn more rules of the workplace?”)

Nobody’s forcing anyone to stand. If they don’t want to stand – they can just pack their things and not show up.

The league looks like it’s going to adopt a rule requiring them to stand. There is no “Constitutional Right” involving what an employee does in the workplace. That’s one of the big lies being told by the left.

Gerald McCoy: ‘It’s going to be an uproar’ if players forced to stand

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive lineman Gerald McCoy, speaking on Adam Schefter’s Know Them From Adam podcast, said he thinks there might “be an uproar” if NFL players are forced to stand for the national anthem.

“I don’t think guys are gonna like it,” McCoy said, when asked about the possible reaction from players. “I think it’s gonna be an uproar if that is to happen because you’re basically taking away a constitutional right to freedom of speech. If guys wanna have a, I guess you would call it a peaceful protest, I don’t think it’s right to take that away.”

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell made it clear in a letter sent Tuesday to all 32 teams that he wants players to stand during the anthem. He did not provide specifics about how he intends to ensure it, but he wrote that it would “include such elements as an in-season platform to promote the work of our players on these core issues.”

The issue will be discussed during the NFL’s regularly scheduled fall meetings in New York next week.

    The National Felon’s League

I heard on the radio today that some huge number of current NFL players have extensive criminal records.

So I did a little checking to see what I could find – but the numbers may be smaller because I was looking for FELONIES, not just criminal records.

27 active NFL players who have been arrested multiple times – 132 arrested multiple times since 2000.

In 2015 alone, there have been 31 NFL players arrested, including six instances of domestic violence, five DUIs, three guns/weapons charges, and one shocking case of animal abuse, which featured former Falcons linebacker Prince Shembokilling his ex-girlfriend’s five-pound dog out of “self-defense.” Atlanta released Shembo once the story broke, but now that he’s taken a plea deal, the Falcons are considering bringing him back. Keep in mind that when Shembo was a student at Notre Dame, he also allegedly sexually assaulted a student at nearby St. Mary’s College who killed herself two weeks after the incident.

According to the USA Today database used to create our interactive NFL Arrests topic, 132 NFL players have been arrested multiple times since 2000. Aldon Smith became the latest player to add to his criminal record in late August, when he was arrested on his third DUI charge.

While some of these are more serious than others, it’s still difficult to comprehend why these millionaires would compromise their lucrative careers by breaking the law multiple times. Then again, while the NFL is worried about how inflated its balls are, many of these players go unpunished by the league for their transgressions.

What the Numbers Show About N.F.L. Player Arrests

USA Today maintains a database of arrests, charges, and citations of N.F.L. players for anything more serious than a traffic citation.

Maintained by Brent Schrotenboer, it goes back to 2000 and covers, to date, 713 instances in which pro football players have had a run-in with the law that was reported by the news media.

Keep in mind, things not reported to the media happened and are not found here, so the actual number of acts is larger. How much? No one can say.

How Many NFL Players Have Been Arrested Since 2000?

What happens when a 22-year-old, after 15 years of hard work, is suddenly handed more fame and wealth than they could previously imagine? For some NFL players, it leads to bad choices, a wrecked new car, and their mugshot in the local paper.

Since 2000, NFL players have been arrested 869 times. That means that an NFL player is arrested once every seven days. The longest period of time without a single arrest? 64 days.

Check out this infographic for more stats from It breaks down arrests by charge, position, and even team. How law-abiding is your team? (SEE LINK, ABOVE)
