Since Trump’s Travel Ban is back in the news, with another attempt by a judge who is overstepping his authority trying to block it, I though this would be worth posting again, keeping in mind the latest action is against an order that didn’t go even near as far as the ones discussed in this graphic yet STILL it’s being represented as a “muslim ban”:

A Canadian man who was recently freed after being held in Afghanistan by Taliban-tied kidnappers for five years said he thought his captors were joking when they told him Donald Trump was president.

I thought they were kidding, thought maybe someone was quoting the ONION when I heard that Trudeau’s son was elected in Canada.

This shows that this “ban” does not go nearly far enough.

Wow. Reverse senile dementia. Jimmy Carter actually gets it! Too bad moonbats won’t listen to him and might even attack him for admitting this:

Jimmy Carter Unleashed: Russians Didn’t Alter Election, Obama Didn’t Deliver, We Didn’t Vote For Hillary

The former president sat down with The New York Times recently and chatted about all kinds of subjects. The Times decided to play up the fact that Carter — one of the worst presidents in U.S. history — would love to go over to North Korea as an envoy.

But the Times is steadily proving how out of touch it is, and how it no longer seems to actually “get” what real news is.

The Russians didn’t steal the 2016 election.

Carter was asked “Did the Russians purloin the election from Hillary?”

“I don’t think there’s any evidence that what the Russians did changed enough votes — or any votes,” Carter said.

So the hard-left former president doesn’t think the Russians stole the election? Take note, Capitol Hill Democrats.

Obama fell far short of his promises.

Barack Obama whooshed into office on pledges of delivering “hope and change” to the country, spilt by partisan politics.

He didn’t. In fact, he made it worse.

“He made some very wonderful statements, in my opinion, when he first got in office, and then he reneged on that,” he said about Obama’s action on the Middle East.

Media “harder on Trump than any president.”

A recent Harvard study showed that 93% of new coverage about President Trump is negative.

But here’s another shocker: Carter defended Trump.

“I think the media have been harder on Trump than any other president certainly that I’ve known about,” Carter said. “I think they feel free to claim that Trump is mentally deranged and everything else without hesitation.”

NFL players should “stand during the American anthem.”

Carter, who joined the other four living ex-presidents on Saturday for a hurricane fundraiser, put his hand on his heart when the national anthem played — and he has a strong opinion about what NFL players should do, too.

“I think they ought to find a different way to object, to demonstrate,” he said. ” I would rather see all the players stand during the American anthem.”

In Venezuela, energy (electricity) is heavily subsidized by the government, who have squads that go around seeing if you’re using too much who will arrest you for energy theft if they determine, by whatever random criteria they use, that you are.

Democrats, as usual, mistake now for the time when Obama was in office and Democrats controlled both houses of Congress.

Trump ‘most dangerous’ president ever – We have the most dangerous president in American history and one of the most reactionary Congresses in American history.

That really does sum up the period where Obama was in office and had control of Congress as well.

And what is causing dissent in the Democratic party?

Demotions for several prominent Democrats who backed Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential primaries and then supported Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison over Perez in the postelection race for party chairman.

“The Democratic Party’s message of doom and gloom has left them leaderless and nearly extinct in most of the country,” Republican National Committee spokesman Michael Ahrens said. “If Tom Perez wants his party to stick with that same failed strategy, Republicans will gladly keep working to help the middle class by cutting their taxes and fixing our broken health care system.”

Amazing – that neutralone would even go here with regards to “FAST AND FURIOUS”, which yes, Obama and Holder colluded and set up to give Obama deniability. That much is true. Does any sane person really believe Holder did this on his own without Obama’s knowledge or consent and even if so, where’s the legal action Obama should have initiated against him, AFTER HE FIRED HIM, for doing it. The fact Obama kept him on proves Obama was complicit.

    neutralone said:

You have references which accuse Holder of being implicated, which is quite damning. But you do not cite anything against Obama.

I know Obama was good at creating deniability by picking people who were willing to lie for him and fall on their own swords – this was one of the things that made him so dangerous. But as stated above and further, due to what Obama was doing and saying at the time, there really is no doubt or denying that Obama was aware of and probably intimately involved in the attempt to use the FAST AND FURIOUS effort to try to attack the Second Amendment. I suspect their is evidence and certainly people who could attest to this, but the Obama administration was full of people who were dishonest and willing to break any law to further their personal, political and ideological goals, as we witnessed for 8 years.

Rolling Stone Editor-in-Chief (and 49% owner) Jann Wenner upset his authorized biography tells it like it was.

Jann gave the writer free range to interview his friends, family and colleagues — some 250 of them. But after reading the completed book in September, he went cold on Hagan. The two are no longer on speaking terms.

“I gave Joe time and access in the hope he would write a nuanced portrait about my life and the culture Rolling Stone chronicled,” said Jann in a statement given to the New York Times this week. “Instead, he produced something deeply flawed and tawdry.”

Hagan described Jann’s reaction as “painful,” but stands by his work. “I’m not angry, I just don’t agree with him,” he said. “I hope that in time, he will come to understand that the book places him at the center of the times he lived in.”

China’s rising authoritarianism has a stark human cost – as did Obama’s during his time as self-proclaimed tyrant.

Since the late ’90s, Li, a 46-year-old human rights lawyer, had defended China’s most persecuted groups: dissidents, petitioners, victims of land grabs and forced demolitions, church leaders, practitioners of the banned spiritual group Falun Gong.

He believed in an authority higher than the party — China’s own legal system. And for that, he suffered tremendously.

Then came the “709” crackdown — named for July 9, 2015, the night it began — when authorities detained or interrogated more than 300 lawyers and their associates, including Li. They held Li without charge for nearly two years. And this May, they let him go — on the condition he remain silent.

“What my husband has gone through during that 22 months in jail was relentless, inhuman, perverted and unthinkable,” said his wife, Wang Qiaoling, 44, who has emerged as an outspoken advocate for rule of law amid her husband’s enforced silence. “The police will torture you till the edge of death, both physically and mentally.”

Since Chinese President Xi Jinping ascended to power in 2012, he has both amassed extraordinary power — analysts routinely call him China’s strongest leader since Mao Tse-tung — and ratcheted up repression to its highest levels since the early 1990s.
