Federalist: Has Promoting Mother Absence Spawned Campus Crybabies?

Maybe that cultural scream of ‘mine!’ is issuing from souls who did have something taken from them—only something more elemental than the totemic objects now functioning as figurative blankies for lost and angry former children. As of today, less than 65 percent of American children live with both biological parents, even as other familial boughs have broken via external forces like the opioid crisis, criminality and incarceration, and globalization. Maybe depression and anxiety have been rising steadily among children and teenagers for a reason. Maybe the furor over ‘appropriation’ unveils the true foundation of identity politics, which is pathos.

Federalist: Antifa Is Not Fighting For Freedom, But For Communist Revolution

Despite antiseptic portrayals throughout American media, Antifa are more than “anti-fascists.” Antifa represent the chaos of Germany’s Weimar Republic and provide the violent complement to academic neo-Marxism. Like their philosophical comrades, Antifa seek to destroy the American emphasis on liberty under law and to impose a revival of one of history’s most repressive ideologies.

    Antifa Is Anti-West and Anti-Capitalist

The liberal Indepedent says the solution to “global warming” is becoming vegetarian. A liberal hysteria “cured” with a liberal idealism. Most of the article is about the imagined “utopia” this will create.

Independent: We could end climate change by 2057 – we just have to make one very simple change

How was this new world achieved? By major technological breakthrough? Did science come along to solve all our problems? No. It was a change so simple you probably wouldn’t believe it. We just started substituting meat with plant-based alternatives. Meal by meal, day by day, we transitioned to plant-based living. By doing so, we put an end to arguably one of the greatest crimes of our time: the abuse and exploitation of animals. We no longer subject billions of farmed animals to immense physical and emotional pain and suffering. We now look back at eating animals as abhorrent in much the same way that we viewed slavery in the early 1900s. We ask ourselves just how could we have done this? Why didn’t we stop it earlier?

Western Journalism: ‘The View’ Censors Name of Jesus From Show

Christians across the country were outraged after Friday’s episode of “The View,” during which the hosts delved into controversial territory by censoring the name of Jesus. The show’s hosts were discussing a British study which found most British Christians feel four of the Ten Commandments are no longer applicable to modern life. Several of the hosts who identify as Christian shared their experiences with the Ten Commandments, but when co-host Paula Faris took her turn, Jesus’ name was censored as if it were an expletive.

Louder with Crowder: Screw Off Leftists, Stop Trying to Ruin Halloween for Little Girls

Take a knee all whiney ye pansies who enter here: Last week, Cosmopolitan set the internet ablaze like it was devil’s night when they decided to join the left’s War on Halloween™ (see Comedian Owen Benjamin Perfectly Mocks Liberals Ruining Halloween and Bill Maher Hilariously Destroys Anti-Halloween PC Liberals!). A war wherein they also fight such atrocities as – gasp – Disney Princesses. In this case, little white girls dressed as Moana. GET BACK SATAN. Why dress as Moana? Simple: she’s their favorite Disney princess. She’s the most popular Disney princess right now. Oh, and she’s also Polynesian. Hence the whole trying to shame white girls from dressing up like her. Pro-tip for Cosmo, stick to quizzes about how to keep a man. Best practices for faking an orgasm. Hard-hitting journalism, that.

Daily Caller: NowThis Calls NYC Attack A ‘Trump Rampage’

Left-leaning news outlet NowThis called Tuesday’s NYC terrorist attack a “Trump rampage” on the outlet’s Snapchat news feed Wednesday. At least eight were killed and several more injured when terrorist Sayfullo Saipov sped a rented Home Depot truck down a two way bike path near the West Side highway in lower Manhattan. The FBI is investigating the terror attack and have discovered evidence that Saipov may have been loyal to ISIS. NowThis, however, characterized the event by calling it a “Trump rampage.”

Cons. Daily Post: “Relationships With Jesus Are Dangerous”: Pope Breaks From Tradition As Claim Issued

Pope Francis issued some very troubling instructions to followers recently. He warned his flock to turn away from “having a personal relationship with Jesus,” adding that it “is dangerous and very harmful.” The speech was caught on tape, sparking fears among many that this pontiff is fulfilling terrible prophesies.
Speaking to 33,000 Christians in Rome, the man who has been declared a heretic by some leaders said that a “personal, direct, immediate relationship with Jesus must be avoided at all costs.” Many people wonder why he would promote an ideology that is contrary to scripture. The Catholic leader explained that no one can truly be a follower on his or her own, believers must rely on the church only for their salvation.

Daily Caller: Stanford Prof Files $10 Million Lawsuit Against Critics Of His Green Energy Study

A Stanford University professor filed a $10 million lawsuit against a team of researchers critical of his study purporting to show the U.S. could run on 100 percent green energy. Reports surfaced in July that Stanford professor Mark Jacobson was mulling legal action against a team of 21 researchers led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Christopher Clack. Now, the disgruntled Stanford professor is suing his critics for claiming he made a “modelling error.” The pro-nuclear group Environmental Progress (EP) published Jacobson’s lawsuit online. EP president Mike Shellenberger criticized the lawsuit, and called on the D.C. court to throw it out.

Time: Kirsten Gillibrand Has a Simple Idea to Stop the Next Terror Attack

On Wednesday, the New York Democrat introduced the Stopping Threats on Pedestrians Act, or the STOP Act, in the U.S. Senate, which would establish a Department of Transportation grant program to fund the installation of local traffic barriers like bollards and planters designed to protect pedestrians and cyclists. The bill would authorize $50 million in spending on such projects over the next decade.

The Blaze: Papa John’s says NFL’s ‘poor leadership’ is impacting pizza sales

Papa John’s, dubbed the “official pizza of the NFL,” is reportedly suffering from effects of what founder, chairman, and CEO John Schnatter says is the NFL’s “poor leadership.” During a Wednesday conference call with investors, Schnatter said, “The NFL has hurt Papa John’s shareholders. The controversy is polarizing the customer, polarizing the country.” “The NFL has hurt us,” he added, and placed direct blame on the national anthem player protests. “We are disappointed the NFL and its leadership did not resolve this. … Leadership starts at the top and this is an example of poor leadership.” Schnatter said the issue of the protests should have been taken care of more than a year ago. At a league meeting last month,NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the NFL owners opted not to force players to standduring the national anthem. According to CNN, Papa John stock is down 24 percent when compared to last year.
