The utter stupidity of the Obama Administration is in full view once again! In separate interviews, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sought to cast Romney as stuck in the days of the Cold War and unaware of the strategic interests that the United States and Russia share on Iran, Afghanistan and the world’s oil supply.

In the days just before WWII, the United States and Japan shared “strategic interests” too. Japan moved to secure theirs before we did by bombing Pearl Harbor first.

In recent days Putin has been beating the war drums pretty hard and often. Plus he’s been touting the development of new missiles we cannot stop.

Yeah, it’s true we have “common interests” with Russia – which is why we cannot afford to capitulate to them as the obamunists are apparently planning to do. Remember, “After the election I’ll have more flexibility”, said Obama.

    Big Brother will be watching!

And, coming soon to “It’s a bad day for Obama, lao and their ilk”:

Top Obama campaign donor accused of fraud No big surprise there.

Maybe they can clone in more people in PHOTOSHOP? Here is the one important point: “The attendance fell far short of the 75 thousand predicted by US Rep. Frederica Wilson, organizer of the event”

Note they don’t say how many actually attended… other than a reference to “a few thousand”. What, 3? Or maybe it was really only “a couple”, if that. In fact, based on the picture they gave, I doubt it was even that. More than likely close to 1,000, if that.

I guess hate and bigotry just don’t sell like they used to!

The more they demand an investigation, the more facts come out in support of Zimmerman. Here’s the latest I saw that was “new”, at least, “new to me”:

A second witness has been quoted: Neighbor said he saw Zimmerman with obvious injuries. “He was banged up. His head had two big bandages, that weren’t flat, had a bump on them. I seen him have a big bandage on his nose and his nose swollen. On the side, where his eyes were at, it was swollen.” He points out exactly where on a picture. “I seen the bandage right here, and this side of his nose and this side of his nose was swollen.”

So lao, keep demanding more investigations. Keep making Martin look more and more the violent, vicious punk thug gangsta wannabe that he was.

We would have rather let him rest in peace.

    But you go, girl!

On the issues where the Democrats are ahead we see a troubling trend: Their scare tactics, their attempts to make people react emotionally instead of thinking logically, seem to be working to some degree:

Health care, education, Social Security in particular and government ethics. These are the areas the left has stolen the message with their lies, propaganda and scare tactics. While these should not be key issues this election cycle, no matter how hard the left tries to make them so, they are areas were conservatives need to find a way to get the truth out more effectively.

Mark Levin: Who the hell died and made Al Sharpton boss, king or attorney general?

As the demanded investigations into the Zimmerman/Martin case continue and news develops about the investigations, nationwide support for the arrest of George Zimmerman, the shooter, is softening.

After all, each attempt to villify him only comes back to PROVE with FACTS (much to lao’s chagrin, so he prattles on about other things like what’s happening in Europe) that Zimmerman was justified and in fact had no real choice, HE COULD EITHER SHOOT MARTIN OR BE KILLED BY HIM. I hope you leftys are happy. Martin could have gone to his rest in peace but now we know how completely evil he had become. Way to destroy his character and ruin his legacy!

Mark Steyn observes ‘a very unattractive descent into tribalism’ with Trayvon Martin case
Steyn also got Lee’s motivation dead on: Spike Lee tweeting the wrong address and this poor elderly couple having to flee their home because this has-been movie director who hasn’t done anything halfway decent in a quarter century has posted their address all over Twitter.

Lee was feeling lonely, like lao, and needed some attention, even if it was negative.

Swing States Poll: A shift by women puts Obama in lead

In the fifth Swing States survey taken since last fall, Obama leads Republican front-runner Mitt Romney 51%-42% among registered voters just a month after the president had trailed him by two percentage points.

The biggest change came among women under 50. In mid-February, just under half of those voters supported Obama. Now more than six in 10 do while Romney’s support among them has dropped by 14 points, to 30%. The president leads him 2-1 in this group.

Oh, don’t think I’d actually physically assault you or anyone – I just enjoy your silly attempts to take what I say out of context and to accidentally express your own obviously ridiculous opinions.

Take your post at 10:50, above, where you hope against hope that women will be stupid enough to make a big enough difference to save Obama’s floundering campaign.

    Good luck with that plan.

All you’ve done is proven that some women were dumb enough to fall for the whole “war on women” gambit. As usual, lies and propaganda designed to whip up emotions and short circuit logic.

And, unfortunately, while it’s not true about EVERY man (you’re a good example) and woman, in general women tend to be more emotional while men tend to be more logical.

We can argue about that, or you can just falsely accuse me of being a sexist bigot and get it over with, if you like.

“This is the time to become energized,” Parker shouted. “This is the time to take action. Trayvon Martin gave his life for this cause!”

    Hint to Bobby Parker:
Trayvon didn’t give his life for your cause. He apparently needlessly gave up his live by provoking a confrontation. You folks are the ones using him and his memory as a stage prop.

  18. Bob Roberts says:

Sam Adams says: April 1, 2012 at 11:40 pm
Oddly enough, they’re using his hate (which caused him to viciously attack Zimmerman and precipitate his own death) to potentiate and magnify their hate, hoping it will spawn still more hate and thus you see what the left is all about.

It starts with the fact they hate themselves.

Why else would lao come back here day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, only to get his sorry A$$ kicked time and time again?

  19. Bob Roberts says:

Let’s take a look at a few of those states lao is so giddy about since WOMEN in them are apparently leaning towards Obama after falling for this “war against women” nonsense:

    Nevada: 6 electoral votes
    Colorado: 9 electoral votes
    New Mexico: 5 electoral votes
    Iowa: 6 electoral votes
    New Hampshire: 4 electoral votes
    Wisconsin: 10 electoral votes

Wow, I guess if Romney loses those states he’s toast, eh?

But does it even matter? NO! First, I don’t believe it. This is the same usual nonsense put out by the liberal press. Second, even if the “war on women” has gained Obama some traction among women in swing states, I doubt it will decide the election. Third, even if it could have, it’s a case of “premature election-calling” due to the obamunists shooting their wad early on this one. Sure, they got women to surge emotionally, but it won’t last until the election. While I did say, and I stand by it, that women tend to react more emotionally, I also have firm evidence which tells me women are ultimately smarter in the long run – they will see through this ploy before the election and it will wind up backfiring on Obama & Co.

Remember that bit about a woman scorned? Women don’t like being lied to and manipulated. That’s exactly what Obama is doing. I believe they will see through it.

Even though I expect these polls are also skewed at least somewhat towards Obama, I expect they’re also closer to the truth than the one lao cherry picked, which was primarily about SWING STATES and WOMEN – you see how the left has to CHERRY PICK to get a positive result for Obama?

Washington Post/ABC News poll: Obama received 47% support to Romney’s 49%

That’s not the best poll out there for Romney. Just the first I found, not cherry picked, just the first that came up. I’m sure there are others that show Romney doing better just as I’m sure there are those which claim to show he has no chance against Obama.

But you have to remember – right now Romney’s opponents are saturating the airwaves with negative messages about Romney. Meanwhile Obama gets a pass and indeed is saturating the airwaves with propaganda.

This will change once Romney (most likely, but it could wind up someone else still I suppose) is the nominee and tunes up his message for the real fight.

Obama, basically, does not stand a chance!

What does he have to run on?

“Give me some space until after the election”.

“If I had a son he would look like Treyvon”.

“I said that if I couldn’t fix the economy I didn’t deserve a second term”.

“The price of energy will necessarily skyrocket”.

    “Unemployment will stay below 8%”.

I’d say Obama has very little chance, if you really are honest about matters.

  20. Sam Adams says:

I feel sorry for Lao. He has a difficult job; try to find things about conservatives that make them look bad while ignoring all the stupid, hateful, wrong, and silly acts committed by liberals.

I have to tell you that making fun of liberals is simply too easy. Biden can’t open his mouth without scaring everyone that, were Obama impeached, etc., Biden would be in charge. The thought makes cold sweat break out.

Then we have Obama. Every time one tunes into his off-teleprompter comments, one realizes just how scary he really is. Anyone with half a brain (including Biden) would realize that Obama’s comment to Mendiev should be a deal-breaker for anyone who wishes the US to survive, let alone thrive.

And then Lao has to support Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Sure; congress didn’t have time to read, let alone understand, the healthcare bill, but they expect a supreme court justice to do what they couldn’t/didn’t.

Then there is the wise Latina justice that wonders how many poor kids are turned away from emergency rooms in the US, simply because they couldn’t afford a shot that would save their lives. And Kagan who refuses to recuse herself from considering a health care law that she championed.

It is hard to see any Liberals who have ethics, let alone intelligence.

  28. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

These polls touted by the left are simply a measurement by them on how effective (or lack thereof) the “war on women” narrative has been
Of course they are going to advance this narrative of “winning”
It provides some motivation to a completely deflated base.
One signal that they have already moved on is this race war they are now engaged in.
Look for them to hit the Hispanic angle
    in the near future.
    This is identity politics
    Subdivide and conquer.
But what the little propaganda flinging troll fails to account for is the fact that women have historically leaned Democrat already.
These tactics must be used now, because they are much less effective against a singular candidate
I personally predict a lot of Joe the plumber moments this time around.
The administration is also taking a mulligan on gas prices, hoping they spike now, and fall off before the election from falling demand.
But what they fail to account for is that falling demand is in effect less voters enjoying their annual summer vacation.

Polish PM Reveals that US Tortured at Black Sites in his Country

Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk is now more or less admitting what has long been suspected: The Bush administration established a secret CIA prison in Poland and had Polish security officials help torture al-Qaeda suspects there.

The President of Poland at the time, Aleksander Kwasniewski, had not been told by his intelligence officials about the black site. But in 2003 when George W. Bush visited Warsaw, he thanked Kwasniewski so profusely and warmly for Poland’s help in the “war on terror” that the Polish leader became suspicious, since he hadn’t to his knowledge actually done much. He made inquiries, discovered the truth, and shut the prison down.

This darkly comic anecdote demonstrates a number of important points. First, W. is thick as two blocks of wood. Second, he knew about the torture programs and about the farming out of torture to US allies, which is a punishable offense in US law. Third, the practice of torture, being illegal in Europe, impels intelligence agencies to go rogue and establish black cells inside themselves that can hide operations from the president and other civilian political leaders.

I’m in CO, thank goodness not in Boulder County….but still saw this bumper sticker on a Subaru, of course: “When Women vote, Democrats win”. It’s that emotional and feelings thing. My Wife was a Southern California liberal. I’m a conservative from the mid-US. I never hammered her for her beliefs and politics, I just let nature take its course. Since the Republicans have been largely marginalised and since once they calm down they will realise that they can afford $10 to $15 a month for contraception they will start caring about gas being $4 to $5 a gallon. That is the point of attack against Obama.

Yes, I listed the lower states, and did you see that I pointed out I wasn’t listing them all.

I was laying a snare for you and you stepped into it!

And, since the link was available to all, I wasn’t “hiding” anything from anyone, though that’s what you’re implying.

I also noted your poll put states in the “firm Democrat” or “leaning Democrat” camp some that aren’t so firm or leaning…

So you cherry-picked another poll that shows Obama leading.

Shock Poll: Majority would recall Wis. Gov. Walker

A new Rasmussen poll finds that Republican Wisconsin Scott Walker is in trouble of being recalled June 5, with a majority, 52 percent, saying they will vote him out less than two years after he took office and immediately went to work to cut the power of public service unions.

Worse for Walker: 53 percent disapprove of his job as governor with a whopping 46 percent saying they “strongly disapprove” of Walker.

  43. Bob Roberts says:

So lao is on a “women will side with Obama” kick now, because his propaganda source is saying that.

Funny, if women are siding with Obama, why is it his own Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, won’t campaign with/for him?

And why is the Obama team so afraid of Ann Romney?

The Republican primary process isn’t even over. Romney hasn’t even launched a proper salvo at Obama yet. I wouldn’t call the election just yet, lao.

  44. Bob Roberts says:

The front lines of Obama’s race war.

    Here are my serious concerns:

    1) The article states there have been six such incidents since February. Why is this the first we’ve heard about?

    2) They don’t mention the demographics of those involved? Were the attackers white and the victims black? No, if that were the case, you know they would have mentioned it! Likely the other way around, which is why they’re not mentioning it.

    3) It appears the video was intentionally degraded to hide the race of the attackers.

    4) As a girl that was interviewed in the video stated, a curfew is a waste of time. These hoodlums are viciously attacking people in public. Do you think they’re going to care about a curfew?

Obama wins in November, I will never comment at Moonbattery ever again.

Republican challenger wins in November, Lao will never comment at Moonbattery ever again.

Now, let’s see who has the strength of their convictions…

  47. Bob Roberts says:

I doubt she’ll do it. I think she’s more or less done with politics – but I wrote her at one time suggesting she’d be a great candidate to break both the color and gender barriers. NOTE that was Van Jones saying that…

Putting Rice on the ticket sure would mess up lao’s “women for Obama” meme and certainly would drive the obamunists crazy!

See lao – even Obama cronies get things right once in a great while and even though I’m against them generally, I acknowledge when they get something right. Doesn’t mean I back them. They just got something right. You should try to learn to acknowledge when someone gets something right, even if you don’t agree with it.

What was I thinking? You would never admit you’re ALWAYS wrong and others are ALWAYS right!

  48. Bob Roberts says:

In case there’s any confusion, Van Jones didn’t say what I used in my link above. He said that Rice should run. I said the words that I used in the tag. Just in case I confused lao, I figured I’d better say that.

Anyway, since lao brought up Walker, let’s compare the court challenges to his reforms and the challenges to the Arizona SB10.

The courts rightly questioned at least one and maybe two sections of Walker’s reforms. I was OK with the issues they expressed with regards to the one issue. They may have reached a bit with the second. I already posted about this so, if you want to know what I’m talking about, scroll to it and read it.

Most probably won’t care – this is only an issue to lao because he needs something to bitterly cling to since he’s having a bad day/week/month/year.

As for SB10, the courts, from what I read, were completely off on that one.

Where, exactly, does it say the Federal Government gets to override when a state decides it doesn’t like someone who’s there illegally in their state? I missed that bit. Sounds like one of those rights that was reserved to the states or to the people to me. Because I sure don’t recall the Constitution giving it to the feds.

Seriously, where does the Constitution say that if Arizona doesn’t want someone in Arizona, the Feds get to say, “You can’t do that.”?

But of course since a leftist said it, it’s no big deal.

Here, lao, let me define “stiff” for you, as it may apply to this situation, and note NONE OF THESE ARE SEXUAL IN NATURE unless a sick mind like yours & Wonkette’s goes there:

The 2008 Obama campaign’s records revealed big contributors with names like “Doodad Pro” (employer: “Loving,” profession: “You”) and “Good Will” (same employer and profession). Both donated via credit card. I believe it was Pamela Geller who reported that some donations came from overseas — raising the question of whether Obama was accepting donations from foreigners.

All of which prompted an enterprising reader to test the controls put in place to enforce compliance with federal campaign law by the Obama and McCain campaigns. He decided to conduct an experiment. He went to the Obama campaign Web site and made a donation under the name “John Galt” (the hero of Ayn Rand’s novel Atlas Shrugged). He provided the equally fictitious address “1957 Ayn Rand Lane, Galts Gulch, CO 99999.” He checked the box next to $15 and entered his actual credit-card number and expiration date. He was then taken to the next page and notified that his donation had been processed. Others repeated “John Galt’s” experiment, giving to Obama under such fictitious names as Della Ware, Joe Plumber, Idiot Savant, Ima BadDonation (with a Canadian bank card) and Fake Donor.

The Obama campaign was able to take these donations because it had turned off the standard Address Verification System that screens credit-card charges for matching names and addresses. (It can also screen cards issued by foreign banks.)

credit card donations to the Obama election campaign do not require the credit card security code [i.e., the CVV code]. What they have done is disable the Address Verification System (AVS) which prevents credit card fraud. Yesterday, just to see what would happen, I submitted a donation and filled out the form as follows:

    Name – Adolph Hitler
Address – 123 Nuremburg Way, Berlin, Germany
    Occupation – Dictator
    Employer – Nazi Party

After submitting, I received an email that began, “Dear Adolph, thank you for your generous donation….”

I then went to the Romney and Santorum websites and tried the same thing. Both rejected the donations with a message that the address could not be verified as belonging to the card holder.

Try it. Make up a name and an address and donate to Obama. Then try it with the other two. Only Obama will accept the donation.

Why is this important? Federal law prohibits any foreign nationals from financially contributing to any election in the United States. It’s on the FEC website and is one of our most important safeguards against foreign influence in our elections. But anybody in the world can contribute to Obama. Not only that, but they can do so anonymously. Not only that, they can contribute an unlimited amount since there is no record of who made the donation. I could contribute $49 every day for the rest of my life by just changing names every time I reach $2,500 and no one would be the wiser.

I haven’t repeated Mr. Murray’s experiment, but I believe the situation is as described in the words of the Talking Heads: “Same as it ever was.”

NOTE: Obama is accepting donations from ADOLPH HITLER, then thanking him for making them, Romney and Santorum are not.

Shots fired at moonbat infested CA University in Oakland. Seven victims have died and three were wounded. A disgruntled student, One Goh Ko, has allegedly confessed and is now in custody.

OK before we actually find out, I want to take a quick poll. Is he, in your OPINION, more likely to be a Tea Party member or a participant in “occupy” activities?

Obama confused over what is and isn’t “judicial activism”. Saving Obamacare would have been “judicial activism”. Throwing it out is what the Court needed to do to do it’s job. Obama, it appears, has received an advance notice of the decision the Court will hand down, likely from one of the justices he appointed or maybe one of the other liberal justices. Any guesses? Kagan? Sotomayor?

And now he’s trying to THREATEN THE COURT:

US President Barack Obama on Monday challenged the “unelected” Supreme Court not to take the “extraordinary” and “unprecedented” step of overturning his landmark health reform law.

Is trying to threaten the Supreme Court to get them to change a decision an impeachable offense?

Wow, it sure would throw a wrench into Obama’s campaign if he were to be impeached, convicted and Biden were to get in the top spot!

  63. Bob Roberts says:

Many years ago, back when “Moonbeam” Brown was our governor and ran the state into the ground, California was invaded by a foreign pest. I believe it was the medfly, Ceratitis capitata. Here’s an account from The American Spectator:

In 1980 California was beset simultaneously with Brown sitting in the governor’s chair and an infestation of the Mediterranean fruit fly (the two creatures being easily confused). On November 24, 1980, the U.S. Department of Agriculture declared the state’s effort at medfly eradication inadequate. Gov. Medfly fumbled and fussed, working anxiously to avoid using environmentally unfriendly pesticides against the environmentally destructive fly. Eight months later — on July 10, 1981, after threats of boycotts of California agricultural products came from Japan and Mexico — Brown finally ordered aerial spraying. State ag officials used malathion, a very powerful chemical. But because the infestation had spread so widely by the time Brown acted, the spray had to be applied across a huge area, close to many populated places. The malathion promptly melted the paint off of hundreds of cars. Californians may want to vote “green”, but not if they have green-painted cars.

Now it’s time for deja-vu all over again!

(I expect you know who I’m quoting? HINT: YB)

This time it’s the feds who are taking on the role of preventing a quick application of effective pesticide to a small area, virtually assuring either our citrus industry will be destroyed or we will eventually have to use the same chemicals, just over a much wider area as happened back in 1980. Why is it liberals like lao can’t learn from experience and keep making the same mistakes over and over?

Meanwhile, how’s all that money Obama funneled to Brazil to help THEM develop THEIR fossil fuel industries doing?

Looks like Brazil is determined to start “Punching above their weight”.

And what’s going on with Argentina?

Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Argentina’s president, used the 30th anniversary of her country’s invasion of the Falkland Islands to rubbish Britain’s claims to the south Atlantic territory, saying: “It is absurd to pretend dominion more than 14,000km across the sea.”

Wow, she sounds as deluded as lao with his “NAZIs are right wingers” nonsense!

I’d say that British dominion over the Faukland Islands is a bit more substantial than “pretend”. Or does this generation of Argentine “leaders” need another reminder of that?

You know, though, with Obama in office, anything could happen.

Maybe he’s actually encouraging another Fauklands war to take attention away from his dismal record now that it looks like his attempts to ignite a race war may be failing.

A bad day for lao and Obama:

Looks like Obama lost the “boy band vote”. Not that it matters any more than lao’s wishful thinking that all the swing states will go to Obama because women like him better.

Looks like DC had a pretty warm March… at least, warmer than since 1871!

NEWSFLASH: Warmer is better. What – would you rather the Potomac had frozen over?

Newest member of “the1%” shows her true colors. OOPS! Was that racist? I just went to the article and she’s American African. I didn’t know that when I wrote that. So is it racist, still? If you use “colored” or some variation without knowing what color the person is, is it still racist?

Anyway, she’s a Haitian immigrant, single mother of 7.

If Wilson won, and if it was with a pooled work ticket, the situation would be shockingly similar to that of New Jersey lottery louse Americo Lopes, who tried to screw five former colleagues after hitting a $24 million jackpot before a jury ordered him to spread the wealth.
Wilson’s co-workers — who make little more than $7.50 an hour — are sizzling with anger over the notion.
“She can’ t do this to us!” said Suleiman Osman Husein, a shift manager and one of 15 members in the pool. “We each paid $5. She took everybody’s money!”

Wow… so I wonder if her former (?) coworkers are talking about “eating the rich” now?

SCOTUS conservatives prevail again – this time security trumps privacy. How four justices, even liberal ones, voted against this is just unbelievable.

Granted, this case is pretty amazing when you get into the details. But the underlying point is simple: You don’t put people into a jail or prison population without first ensuring to a high degree of certainty that they’re safe to go in – aren’t carrying in drugs, weapons, etc.
