    The TEA Party

Although some elements of the TEA Party movement predate it, the spark which ignited the TEA Party movement was lit by CNBC Business News Editor, Rick Santelli on February 19, 2009. Broadcasting from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, he had a memorable meltdown over Uncle Sam’s plan to refinance mortgages:

He said that those plans were “promoting bad behavior”by “subsidizing losers’ mortgages”. He suggested holding a tea party for traders to gather and dump the derivatives in the Chicago River on July 1. (Wikipedia)

Inspired by Santelli’s rant, all across the country individuals peaceably assembled with like-minded individuals who believe that the government needed to cut the crap. Instead of welcoming the long overdue awakening of We the People, Elected Tormentors and their MSM lackeys vilified TEA Party participants. When verbal abuse didn’t get the job done, unionized government thugs did everything in their power to intimidate TEA Party participants into compliance.

It’s time to get real about the TEA Party. The two dominant political parties like things just the way they were, before these ‘civilians’ showed up. The last thing they want is John & Jane Q. Public restoring a properly Constitutional government which includes limitations that will, invariably, strip inside the Beltway players of all their ill-gotten power. TEA Party patriots want a smaller, much less intrusive, government, but the old guard (in both parties) don’t want any part of it and that’s as REAL as it GETS!

Borrowed from the wild and patriotic minds at PIG…

“Study: Oral Sex Cures Morning Sickness

Pregnant women have used natural remedies such as a teaspoon of ginger or a mint to help battle morning sickness. But now, one medical professional believes you can add oral sex to that list.

According to Gordon Gallup, a psychologist at SUNY-Albany, the best way to cure morning sickness during pregnancy is sperm.

But not just any sperm, it should be the sperm of the person who got you pregnant.

Gallup believes the reason a pregnant woman gets morning sickness is due to the unfamiliar semen in their body due to the pregnancy.

Gallup says in his findings that the woman’s body will initially reject the father’s semen as an infection and react to it by vomiting.

Gallup says the best cure for morning sickness is to ingest the father’s semen so her body can build up a tolerance to what’s already in her body.”

Vast volcanic ‘raft’ found in Pacific, near New Zealand

This is one of many events one reads about – most of which occur far from land and never are noticed. Scientists cannot know how often these things happen and what quantities of greenhouse gasses are released when they do – so they cannot possibly accurately estimate what contribution such events make to the rising atmospheric GHG levels that we are measuring.

As for human contribution to that increase – moonbat Sting may have actually had it right back in the 1980s when he railed against wholesale destruction of tropical rainforests by the inhabitants of so called “third world” countries. If anyone owes the rest of us anything for causing increased atmospheric CO2, it’s the third world that should be made to pay for the damage they’re doing.

What? They can’t afford it? Well tough luck – doesn’t change what they did!

Playing dirty? Ads in Spanish say Obama is deporting TOO MANY illegals?

Not enough is more like it.

With regards to the false and malicious ad about Romney and the cancer victim:

    1. The steel plant was already on the skids BEFORE Bain tried to save it.
    2. Cheap imports from Asia led to the closure of that plant.
    3. By closing THAT plant, Bain SAVED jobs at their OTHER steel facilities.
    4. Fast-forward 5 YEARS later: Soptic had declined insurance for his wife at his janitorial job. Mrs. Soptic had insurance of her own.
    5. NO insurance could have spared her from terminal lung cancer within 22 days from diagnosis. She thought she only had pneumonia.

This is exactly the sort of mud slinging Obama has always said should not be part of politics – so why hasn’t he denounced this sleazy false attack ad?

  33. Bob Roberts says:

PLUS: In a January 10, 2012 interview with Amy Goodman of “Democracy Now!” the anti-Romney steel plant employee revealed he was offered a buyout when Bain decided to close the plant.

Not mentioned in the ad is that his wife found out she had cancer nearly five years after his departure from the plant. She died 22 days after her diagnosis.

JOE SOPTIC: Well, I guess the first thing I noticed after the company was bought out by GST… In my case, in my department, they actually offered to buy our jobs out from underneath us.

This gets better and better – Obama is floundering!

    OBAMANOMICS: Gas spiraling up again.

  34. Bob Roberts says:

Olympic medal count: USA at 41 gold, 94 overall. China at 37 gold, 81 over all. GB 25 gold, 57 overall.

With the largest population in the world and an aggressive scouting system, it’s not surprising China is doing as well. With a tiny population compared to them, look how well GB is doing!

  35. Bob Roberts says:

A new report by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce highlights a striking example of Big Labor’s strength at the local government level: the states of Pennsylvania, California, Illinois and Nevada have all exempted unions from the state’s own anti-stalking laws.

The report, titled Sabotage, Stalking & Stealth Exemptions: Special State Laws for Labor Unions, claimed: “union favoritism under state laws tend to occur in criminal statues and allow individuals who engage in truly objectionable behavior to avoid prosecution solely because they are participating in some form of labor activity.”

The main exception noted is stalking laws. Unions have long argued that they need to be able to access to workplaces and contact information of workers, including home addresses, to be able to convince them to joining. This is intended to balance against the fact that management has a captive audience when talking to its employees.

This has lead some states to exempt unions from laws meant to discourage people from following other people who don’t welcome the attention. The Pennsylvania anti-stalking law states it “shall not apply to conduct by a party to a labor dispute” while the Illinois law says “any controversy converning wages, hours, working conditions or benefits … the making or maintaining of collective bargaining agreements, and the terms to be included in those agreements.”

California has a similar exception for its trespass laws. The Chamber dryly noted in the study that the mere fact that these exemptions had to be written into the law shows how close some union tactics come to behavior that would be illegal in any other context.

The most striking example in the report is that Wisconsin’s anti-sabotage law, which makes it a felony to disrupt military activities, has an exception for labor organizing. That’s bizarre because organizing isn’t likely to be allowed on a military base, presumably the main place any sabotage law would apply.

A woman who went to China’s Changsha Central Hospital complaining of itching in the left side of her head was told by doctors that the source of irritation was a spider that had been living inside her ear canal for five days.

Reid aide divulges details on source of Romney tax claim — then retracts

Democrats – lying is second nature to them:

Reid aide Jose Parra first made the claims in an interview on Los Angeles’ KTLK radio, defending his boss’ decision to trumpet the tax charge last week on the Senate floor and explaining a bit about the source.
“This person is an investor in Bain Capital, a Republican also, and somebody … who has been dealing with Romney’s company for a long, long time and he has direct knowledge on this,” Parra said.
Parra’s statement comes after Romney, in an interview with Fox News, challenged Reid to identify his source.
However, after some media attention on Parra’s radio interview, Parra issued a statement taking those remarks back.
“I do not know the party affiliation of the source, how long he invested with Bain, or his relationship to Romney beyond the fact that he was an investor with Bain Capital, as Senator Reid has previously stated,” he said.

Just like all the “green” businesses Obama gave so much of our tax money to – you know, the ones run by his supporters, his donors – that “crashed and burned” shortly thereafter.

HuffnPuff headline: “Mitt Romney Started Bain Capital with Money from Families Tied to Death Squads.”

If there were anything to the allegations, the Obama Administration would have to explain why it met with one of the alleged hit-squad leaders twice this year.
