CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has weighed in on the U.S. presidential race, saying he prefers President Barack Obama.

“If I were American, I’d vote for Obama,” Chavez said in a televised interview that aired Sunday.

The Venezuelan leader called Obama “a good guy” and said if the U.S. president were a Venezuelan, “I think … he’d vote for Chavez.”

Chavez is running for re-election, seeking another six years in office in an Oct. 7 vote. Obama faces Republican Mitt Romney in his November re-election bid.

    Still have any doubt?

I gave up on the video ten seconds in…..If I get your gist it’s about creeping Sharia.

I have said before that we agree on certain things.

Creeping Sharia is definitely one and the out of control black violence in America is another.

We may disagree on the cause but we certainly agree on the problem, and I’m confident we can agree on a solution.

I am a militant Christian in that I believe in force to protect your ideals – being they are just to everyone.

Having said that, the Muslim press to take over the world and the efforts by the Black Liberation movement in America to dictate to whites has to be stopped, and quickly.

People like BoJangles despise Christians but we are the majority, we are the military, we are the only hope.

Without us you are pissing upwind.

Must read piece on Obama’s transformation of the education system and the sordid connections. Private/religious schools cannot be allowed to remain exempt from total federal control for long. These people are monstrously wrong, (evil even, and blinded to truth), but they’re not stupid. The Leftist plan is playing out with astounding success.

    Biden blows it – again.

Strange… military ballot requests going AWOL. I wonder why?

Bo-Jangles cites the fact Chavez said (concerning Obama): “I would vote for you – and you would vote for me” or some such.

Who cares. Here is what matters:

43% of voters certain they will vote for Romney. 42% certain they will vote for Obama. Remaining 15% either uncommitted or open to changing mind.

While again I suspect they’re a bit light on the pro-Romney voters and a bit oversampled on the pro-Obama side, this does suggest that Romney will pull it off, though it is admittedly his to lose I believe.

Despite the advantage that goes to the incumbent I expect, barring any major voter fraud or attempt to put off the election, Obama is going down.

DNC spokesperson predicts Romney will win… first debate, anyway.

It’s a further lowering of expectations ahead of the first debate in Denver next week. Democratic National Committee spokesman Brad Woodhouse tells Fox News he thinks Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will win.

Woodhouse says the way the DNC sees it, challengers win the first debate when they are up against incumbents.

“Mitt Romney has had a lot more time to debate, the president has not debated in the past four years in terms, of a campaign debate. I think the president will hold his own, but he’s not known for sound bites. And these are 60 second, 90 second responses.”

It is Obama’s own fault he did not debate – the Democrats did not allow a serious primary challenge nor any debates during the primary season.

Don’t look now: Chinese wind farm group going to sue Obama.

Update on the whole Lohan mess: Charges dropped, arrest voided.

Media is a threat to our Democratic Republic.

One thing they got wrong: It did not change in 1980. Media types brag about how they knocked Nixon out and got Kennedy elected way back in 1960.

I think we’re at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy or not. You know, when I first started in politics – and for a long time before that – everyone on both sides, Democrats and Republicans, despised the press commonly, because they were SOBs to everybody. Which is exactly what they should be. They were unrelenting. Whatever the biases were, they were essentially equal-opportunity people.
    That changed in 1980.
There are a lot of reasons for it. It changed—an important point in the Dukakis-Bush election, when the press literally was trying to get Dukakis elected by ignoring what was happening in Massachusetts, with a candidate who was running on the platform of “He will do for America what he did for Massachusetts”—while they were on the verge of bankruptcy.

The clever people over at have a new article about the ObamaPhone including some of its most important features as submitted by Twitter users.

Here then are the key features of the ObamaPhone:

It automatically rejects calls from people with a different opinion.
Every time you take a picture, it produces a grimmer image of America.
It doesn’t have a plan; it just keeps telling you how bad the other guy’s plan is.
When it crashes, it blames your previous phone.
All 3 AM calls go directly to voicemail.
It has a really useless app called “Biden.”
Pairing it with another device sucks all the energy out of the other unit.
Type in “job search” and it gives you directions to the welfare office.
The navigation feature covers all 57 States.
The default ringtone for international calls is “I’m sorry, so sorry, please accept my apology.”
The healthcare app downloads and installs itself without your permission.
When you make a call, a teleprompter pops up to help you speak.
Restaurant reviews are all written by Michelle Obama.
There are never any winners on Angry Birds.
Instagram takes two months to process a photo and you have to fill out 3 PDFs to do so.
Paypal app is replaced with ReceivePal app.
You can’t find “Jerusalem” on Google maps.
It turns all your Facebook friends into enemies and all your enemies into friends.
Don’t want to work? There’s an app for that, too.
It automatically bows down to phones made by foreign companies.
When you watch a YouTube video, a US ambassador gets killed.
When you dial “home”, it calls Kenya.
As opposed to the iPhone, it’s called the mePhone.

(I read it on AmSpec blog.)

Yet another perpetual guaranteed democrat vote for San Diego.

A man diving for lobsters in Mission Bay died Sunday night after being pulled from the water.
Actually that’s two perpetual democrat votes. He wasn’t alone. Apparently their boat capsized. The second guy’s body washed up on Mission Beach this afternoon as I was riding by along the “boardwalk”.

Rumor had it that the first guy made it, but clearly that was incorrect, at least according to this story, which was written before the second body washed up.

What do you know – CNN polls now are closer to reality than before.

    It’s magic!

    Doctors choose Romney.

Democrat phone calls ask “How can you support a Mormon”?

I don’t know… how can ANYONE support a mulatto? That’s just as far a question.

  17. Bob Roberts says:

Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway endorsed Mitt Romney ahead of Wednesday’s presidential debate in Colorado.

“Governor Romney is a proven leader with the experience and background to turn around our struggling economy,” Elway said in a statement. “In these tough economic times, we need a president who understands how to get America working again – by standing on the side of taxpayers and small-business owners who do the real job creating. I am endorsing Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan for President and Vice President because I know having the courage to make decisions and tackle challenges is what leads to results and real change. America needs a comeback team – Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are that team.”

“Leaders come in many forms, and John Elway has always exemplified leadership, first as a quarterback for the Super Bowl champion Broncos, and now as an executive vice president for the team,” Romney said in a statement. “He’s had to overcome challenges during his career, and he knows what it takes to turn things around when things get tough. I’m proud to have him on my team as we campaign to lead the comeback this nation desperately needs.”

Elway, the longtime quarterback of the Denver Broncos, is executive vice president of football operations for the Denver Broncos. Elway was instrumental in letting quarterback Tim Tebow go in the last off-season and signing Peyton Manning.

  18. Bob Roberts says:

Actually the headline on that last one, which is behind a paywall, is “Obama will need MORE THAN luck”.
