Trying to convince a liberal that BO isn’t a mentally-deranged, racist fool, and in no possible way should be trusted to hold a fork, let alone the presidency, would require years in a Chinese re-education military camp.

This list would serve as a good starting point.

    The Sixth of November

Remember, remember, this sixth of November,
    The radicals’ treasonous plot.
I know of no reason the radicals’ treason
Should e’er be forgiv’n or forgot.

The Sixties were waning, and Leftists were claiming
    That radical changes were due.
Their Marxist solution was armed revolution:
    The Weathermen made their debut.

The radicals raged on the national stage, and
    Horrific explosions ensued.
    Their bombs were dramatic, but also erratic;
    They sometimes killed radicals, too.

The Leftists grew older, the underground, colder,
And so they came in from the cold.
“Subvert from within – in the long run, we’ll win,” said
    The Leftists, determined and bold.

And thus it began – this nefarious plan – and
    The radicals slowly took charge:
    Complete infiltration of all education;
    The long institutional march.

The journalist schools would produce useful fools, for
The Left would need media shills.
And Hollywood, too, would assist in the coup, with
    Its slick propagandizing skills.

    “Community action” would build a new faction;
’Twould organize proles on the street.
A smooth politician would front for the mission,
And run for the president’s seat.

The radicals’ goal, which they proudly extol, is
    A communist U.S. of A.
Collectivist schemes lead to brutal regimes, and
For this do the radicals pray.

But Jefferson’s aim, with the charters he framed, was
    To guard individual rights.
And “redistribution” was not a solution,
But one of the evils to fight.

So let us remember, this sixth of November,
Just what is at stake on this date.
Will Jefferson’s dream, or the radicals’ scheme, now
    Determine America’s fate?

I don’t recall if this has been posted previously. My apologies if it has. Found in comments over at PJMedia.

More bad election news for Obama: Unemployment jumps up to 8.3%

Remember his promise to keep unemployment under 8%?

U3 unemployment ticked up to 8.3 percent. We have now witnessed 42 consecutive months of eight percent-plus unemployment in America, despite the president’s promise that his $825 Billion “stimulus” program would prevent that statistic from eclipsing the eight percent mark. The White House projected that unemployment would now be at 5.6 percent, thanks to the stimulus.

    (2) 155,000 Americans gave up seeking work and dropped out of the labor force in July, nearly as many as the jobs gained. Overall, according to CNBC: “The report showed that the actual amount of Americans working dropped by 195,000, with the net job gain (i.e. the government reported a job GAIN even though jobs actually FELL – GO FIGURE!) resulting primarily from seasonal adjustments.”

BREAKING NEWS: Obama finally in REAL trouble. (NOTE this story was released Oct 4 so it WAS breaking news then.)

Thanks in part to Obama’s mishandling of Benghazi the bad news keeps coming for Obama.

That would be the end of that person’s career. Period. No questions asked. Done!

Obama supporters stepping up riot threats.

You know, we need to have a good firm policy of shooting first and asking questions later when any riots start. It’s time to cleanse the population of those who would incite violence and kill/destroy just because their candidate did not win an election. We really don’t need that sort of riff-raff turning our oxygen into carbon dioxide.

Barone: Going out on a limb: Romney beats Obama, handily

Going out on a limb? Not hardly!

Romney spoke to a crowd of 30,000

President Barack Obama spoke to 2,800 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds.

Fewer than 200 showed up for Stevie Wonder event backing Obama

Stevie Wonder this morning expressed his love for Cleveland during a get-out-the-vote rally at Cleveland State University.

    His love went largely unrequited.

Fewer than 200 people showed up to watch Wonder perform a handful of his hits at the early voting event in support of President Barack Obama.

“I do a song. You go vote. You come back. We do some more music,” he said before opening with “Sir Duke.”

No one left to vote after the first — or any — song.

A shuttle meant to take voters to the nearby Cuyahoga County Board of Elections left empty after Wonder’s final song, “Superstition.”

Fortunately, as he is blind, Wonder didn’t know that his event was a complete failure.

Or that many in the crowd sported Romney/Ryan gear.

OK I made that last bit up.

Milhoan, who said he supports Obama, was one of the few people in the crowd who have not already voted.

“It would be disingenuous to say I am here because of Obama,” he said. “How do you pass up a chance to see Stevie Wonder?”

  19. Bob Roberts says:

    Same as it ever was…

Imagine that the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem – the traditional site of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus – has been taken over by Cromwellian Puritans. The new owners of the shrine plan to send bulldozers in, replacing the old church with a monstrous building resembling a concrete spaceship. This is so pilgrims can pray without being distracted by “superstitious” icons. Also, the Old City will be buried under hotels that make Vegas look like Venice.
It wouldn’t happen, would it? Christians would fight to the death to preserve Jerusalem. So would Jews and Muslims. And, for once, they’d have the support of secular politicians and scholars, horrified by the prospect of an act of cultural vandalism unprecedented in modern times.
Unprecedented until now, that is. The long-cherished ambition of Saudi Arabia’s ruling Wahhabi sect to smash up the ancient buildings of Mecca and Medina is nearing fruition.
In Mecca, the house of one of Mohammed’s wives has been demolished to make space for public lavatories. His birthplace may disappear, too, as part of King Abdullah’s scheme to complement the skyscrapers and shopping malls with a Grand Mosque fashioned from the same materials as a multi-storey car park in Wolverhampton.
As for Islam’s second holiest place, the city of Medina, a recent article by Jerome Taylor in the Independent revealed a megalomaniac plan to pull down three 7th-century mosques. Taylor added: “Ten years ago, a mosque which belonged to the Prophet’s grandson was dynamited. Pictures of the demolition that were secretly taken and smuggled out of the kingdom showed the religious police celebrating.”

Where’s the outrage in the muslim world?

But this is how they’ve always done it – to other religions. The “dome of the rock” is built on the remains/rubble of the holiest Jewish temple in Jerusalem. The stone muslims claim was the spot from which Mohammed ascended to heaven (yeahRITE!) was likely a piece of the old Jewish temple, destroyed some time before.

Voting is the best revenge, according to Obama. So yeah, all you people who’ve lost a job since he was elected, all you people who’s family income has dropped, all who are paying more for gas, for energy, for EVERYTHING, remember that. Remember! Obama says:

    Change… BACK!

And what prominent/significant person is backing Romney/Ryan today?

None other than a former Hillary supporter!

“For most of my life, I’ve been an active Democrat. I am proud to have worked for President Bill Clinton and then-Senator Hillary Clinton, and, during that time, I saw firsthand what can be accomplished by strong, bipartisan leadership. I know what it means to work across the aisle on issues that are important to the American people. And that’s why I am supporting Mitt Romney. Governor Romney has a plan to restore the prosperity this country deserves and expects. He will work with people of good will no matter what their party, and he will pursue the policies that are in the best interest of our country, no matter who proposes them. That’s what President Obama promised to do four years ago. But like so many of his promises, bipartisan cooperation is just another one he has broken. We can’t have four more years of failed policies and two parties that can’t work together. We need the change Mitt Romney is offering.”

    Change… BACK!

Here it comes… New York talking abotu extending voting… and apparently by as much as almost three weeks is possible.

State Board of Elections spokesman John Conklin confirmed Friday that the law permits election commissioners to create a second day of voting if the turnout in any county is less than 25 percent of the total number of registered voters.

The commissioners, two Democrats and two Republicans, would make that decision after Election Day. Any second day would have to be scheduled within 20 days.

They’re a bit unclear but apparently this means the day of second voting must take place before the 26th, 20 days after the regularly scheduled election day, I believe.

    How Democrats win elections

Portrait of the kind of people Democrat voter registration drives target:

Jimmy Green’s stepdaughter had never voted before. The 57-year-old is mentally disabled, and Green said she doesn’t understand the concept of casting a ballot.

But this week, she called her parents to say she had voted for President Obama. The care home in Fayetteville where she lives registered its residents to vote and drove them to the polls, Green said.

“My concern is that somebody told her who to vote for,” he said. “She didn’t even know there’s two different parties.”

It’s actually sad that Republicans wouldn’t even think of doing this so Democrats have whole blocks of voters they’re guaranteed to get every election no matter what lousy candidates they run, no matter what outrageous things they propose.

More Democrats for life – meet the Chapel Hill Killer

Portrait of the kind of people Democrat voter registration drives target:

Recent stepped-up voter registration efforts at state mental hospitals and facilities for the developmentally disabled resulted in the registration of Wendell Justin Williamson, who in 1995 killed two people in Chapel Hill and was judged not guilty by reason of insanity.

Election records show Williamson, a patient at Central Regional Hospital in Butner, was registered on Sept. 13 as an unaffiliated voter. He cast an absentee ballot that was accepted Oct. 15 by the Granville County Board of Elections.

In a street shootout in January 1995 near the UNC-Chapel Hill campus, Williamson, a law student, used an M-1 rifle to kill two strangers.

House panel wants answers on costly White House dinners

Obama has been berating us to tighten our belts, to do more with less, or with virtually nothing. Meanwhile he’s spent BILLIONS on lavish state dinners, on multiple vacations including sending his family and daughters all over the world with or without him, and all that golfing while catastrophies go unmanaged.

    Obama Cleveland 2008: 80K Obama Cleveland 2012: 4K

Man, Obama’ stock has fallen low!

Last night, in the cold and with long lines, 30,000 people showed up in Ohio to see Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. That same day, Obama attracted a meager 2,800. But enthusiasm for President FailureTeleprompter can be judged by more than comparisons with Romney. In 2008, at his last stop in Cleveland, a Democrat stronghold, Obama attracted 80,000 people. This morning, at his last 2012 stop in that same city, Obama could only attract 4,000.

In that exact same Cleveland venue, according to the RNC, McCain was able to attract a bigger crowd in 2008 than Obama did yesterday. Yes, that’s correct, Obama’s attracting crowds smaller than John McCain did in 2008 but the polls are telling us he’s going to best or beat his D+5 2008 turnout advantage.

And this is why we can’t believe that fire hose of Ohio polls being turned on us. Nothing in those polls sense any enthusiasm for Romney. Most show Obama will best or beat his 2008 turnout advantage, which no one believes.

Furthermore, many of those polls claim that 30-40% of people have already voted, when the hard count shows that number closer to 22%. Moreover, hard counts comparing early voting in pro-Obama and pro-Romney counties show the GOP in much better shape than it was in 2008.

In 2008, Obama only won Ohio by 4.6%.

The race is going to be close, no question, but these polls are all modeled to give Obama an enthusiasm advantage no one is seeing with their lying eyes. It’s all about turnout now, about winning outside the Margin Of Media.

Service members purged from voter rolls in Florida.

I was pretty upset when I read the headline, but read the story. Voters not only have a responsibility to vote, they have a responsibility to know how to maintain their status and make sure they get materials and send them in to the appropriate place in timely fashion.

This guy the story highlights was purged BECAUSE HE FAILED TO VOTE IN MULTIPLE GENERAL ELECTIONS, triggering an inquiry letter he never got or returned, triggering his name being purged from the rolls.

When I was stationed away from home I ALWAYS maintained awareness of what my voter status was. I never missed an election, no matter how minor.
