This is such crap. Red areas of the country pay less to support government spending than blue areas and also consume more of government expenditures.

It’s red a America that is the real moocher.

    Here’s the facts:

  2. SR says:

Those Democrat moochers living in RED states! Lol

  3. Grunt says:

Sure, and things are fine in California and Detroit isn’t a liberally run democrat hellhole.

Frankly, I’d be tickled if all the progressive morons (from the party that hijacked the colour blue from the GOP because “Red” is a bit too close to home)just moved over onto the Left coast and stayed there.

Much of the middle of the US is the breadbasket…that means lower population per capita…and isn’t it funny how all these states that get welfare are nowhere near as bankrupt as California and New York?

I call bull on your stats. And yes, the Reds are the moochers…just ask any Occucommie parasite. Overwhelmingly, welfare gobblers vote Democrat.

  4. Grunt says:

By the way…I wonder what happened to all those libs who vowed to leave America if W became president..?

Oh, wait….they’re still here, aren’t they?

  5. Jimbo says:

There’s nothing like a good conspiracy theory video. Here’s one. If you have trouble watching the whole thing, jump to the last two minutes. It is amusing.

Also, can’t resist making a Star Trek frame grab into a political joke once in a while.

  9. Bob Roberts says:

Forget about soylent green – judge apparently thinks possums are people!

Or at least they have equal rights.

In many cities and states, you cannot legally engage in surreptitious recordings of random conversations.

    Unless you’re a moonbat, apparently!

Mayor Rahm Emanuel, at a Monday news conference, didn’t like questions about whether his press office had recorded reporters’ conversations without first seeking their consent.

That’s a big no-no under the Illinois Eavesdropping Act, one of the toughest two-party consent laws in the country.

More of that “new civility” the moonbats are demanding:

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar reportedly threatened to punch a reporter with the Colorado Springs Gazette

All in a typical day’s work for devoted moonbats. Threatening people is second nature to them.

    The future under obamacare

The lunatic liberal moonbats always bring up how Reagan allegedly emptied the mental wards and, in doing so, created our homeless problem.

First, Reagan did nothing. Congress did pass laws that made it illegal to simply lock up people with mental problems unless they consented to treatment or were found unable to consent and a court ordered it. Reagan did nothing – CONGRESS did the right thing, preventing just the sort of warehousing of the insane in substandard facilities that we may yet see again under socialized medicine.

Plus the homeless problem already existed and will remain, unfortunately.

YOu’ll never guess the race/ethnicity of those involved:

    OK… maybe you will…

Detroit is projecting it will run out of cash next month unless the state of Michigan bails it out – again.

The budget deficit rose in October, the first month of fiscal year 2013, as looming negotiations over expiring tax cuts and imminent spending reductions dominated the post-election political landscape.

The Treasury said on Tuesday the October deficit was $120 billion, larger than economist forecasts for a $114 billion gap and up from $98 billion in October of 2011.

That’s it! It says so on the internet, therefore it has to be gospel truth.

Where did you read that, Ashoka?

    On the internet?

    Thought so.

I’ve been to the “blue” areas.

They’re full of DEEP BLUE moochers.

As are many of the “red” areas.

Many of the “red” areas are actually different shades of purple.

Moonbats don’t seem to be able to think critically.

    But we knew that.

  12. Grunt says:

    You mean like Detroilet, Asockpuppet?

    Keep deluding yourself.

  13. Bob Roberts says:

By the way, Ashoka was an Indian emperor who’s relatively insignificant empire lasted what, around 70 years?

    Gee, what a loser!

Ashoka ruled for about forty years. While it is known he had many children, few of them can be accurately named.

Basically the reign of Ashoka himself faded into obscurity and we only know of him from some scribblings in stone that were found.

Which makes one wonder why he was ranked at #63 in one list of the most influential people in history instead of number 234 or 456.

  14. Alphamail says:

Approximately 55% of Americans voted in the 2012 presidential race.

My educated guess says we can discount at least 10% or more of those voters as “I’d better vote” types, “I like the name so I’ll check this box” types, the “C’est la vie” types who figure no matter what they do everything is going to turn out just fine, and the 3rd party voters who in their spare time go looking for Bigfoot.

That leaves slightly more than 20% on each competing side to pick our president.

To be fair to both sides, I proffer about half of each side – say 10% – make up the true base of their respective party.

Again, in an attempt to be fair, I conjecture only half of each 10% of each base – say 5% – fully understand the battle is not about filling potholes or getting their cousin elected, but is ideological and the outcome defines the very nature and survival of their respective ideology, as we move forward into the future.

Prejudicially, I’ll call them the ideology of faithless central government and equal social outcome, and the ideology of faith-full individuals, of equal opportunity, and human liberty.

So at election’s end, a liberal-progressive base, made up of 5% (+/-) of the voting electorate, managed to convince enough other Americans to vote for their ideology.

    How did they do it?

It’s called fakery, and the path of least resistance – two intangibles toward which humans seem to be inexplicably drawn.

Curiously watch rain water trickle down a small embankment and you can imagine people, facing the bumps and grinds of life, taking the easy way.

Saul Alinsky, who dedicated his seminal work to Satan, knew this and wrote guidelines for the liberal 5% – who proudly boast of Alinsky in their political credentials – who managed to convince, connive, and coerce massive groups of people to take the easy way and vote for a sugar daddy named Obama.

As a result, many of the core base of the 5% who lost, not only believe that over half the country have suddenly become avowed Marxists, they also falsely believe that liberty is now extinct and virtually irretrievable.

It’s not true – unless you believe blacks, browns, Jews, Asians, and guilt-ridden self-hating whites are indeed the culprits, in which case you are a nut ball revolutionary and don’t care if women and children get raped and slaughtered and American cities get plundered and burned to the ground.

Whether you do care or not, that’s the end game of that trend of thought.

The real culprits were the aptly applied Alinsky tactics by 5% of the population, and a simple understanding and nefarious manipulation of basic human nature.

To a large extent, the masses who voted for Obama can’t define or spell Socialism, they confuse the initials EBT with ATM, and government is an entity not unlike the Wizard of Oz, hiding behind a dark curtain in that big white dome thingy, who loves the crap out of them.

And of course Obama stays up night after night thinking of new ways to save the universe.

Needless to say, they were offered the easy way out and they took it…it’s that simple.

And that easy way out was counted once, twice, maybe five times.

The fact is, over half of America is not Marxist and does not own us; over half of America had no clue what the election was about – simply voting for free stuff; and over half of America certainly did not win a fairly contested election.

And mind you, we only considered 55% of the population. We have not considered the 45% who didn’t vote. So realistically, the actual percentage of whacko Marxist core believers who drive the perverted agenda of the left, may be closer to 2 to 3%.

A bittersweet number: On one hand it gives us hope that the battle is closer to winnable than we may think. On the other hand, it’s frightening to think so few can manipulate and control so many.

  15. St. Gilbert says:

    Wonder what’s coming?

Either Ann is insane, or those who reelected Obama are insane. Not a tough call. Mussolini said that the history of the saints is largely a history of insane people. From his perspective, the perspective of an insane world, he’s right. Saints do some pretty crazy things. Chesterton said that the saints are remarkable because of their profound sanity and courage. AB is certainly courageous.

Did you mean to say on Wall Street?

  17. Ummah Gummah says:

Leave it up to that ultimate Blue-State agency, the EPA to close down oil exploration, production and importation/transportation in the Red States.

The Red States are still more productive than the blue moochers and could be even more productive if they were simply LEFTY ALONE.

  18. Ummah Gummah says:

If the Blue States were so productive, why did Obama have to threaten and bully Boeing into not opening a factory down South?

But, hey, let’s indulge our new sock-puppet, and just for a second take it at face value……….and……..

    ……hey, wait – I thought “redistribution” was a good thing……oops….hahahahahahah

More of the Demoncrats’ “War On The Middle Class”….hahahah.

But, seriously – let’s apply that logic to international spending, too…..ROTMFFLMFAO……hahahahh

That was in 2009. The RINO log cabin boy Schmidt is now busy giving interviews to the leftstream media blaming TALK RADIO on the defeat on Nov. 6th.

Same guy who ran the abysmal LOSER McCain campaign in 2007 and a host of other losing efforts as well.

  23. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

It’s red a America that is the real moocher

Once again, a case of statistics lie, and liars use statistics
    1) Seven out of the ten richest counties reside in DC, yet your author elected to omit it. Why ?

Because federal spending per dollar of taxes paid there is almost three times HIGHER than the next highest blue state, New Mexico
No wonder rich liberals want to spend more.
One would expect DC to be somewhat higher by nature of this being where lots of useless bureaucrats park their carcasses, but wow.

    2) A state such as California is much more expensive to live in than a state like, say South Dakota.
Therefore taxable incomes will reflect this.

3)In lesser populated states such as Alaska, the costs of wasteful federal boondoggles such as the bridge to nowhere will be highlighted to a greater extent on a chart such as this over say, the billions poured into California’s light rail travesty, or Boston’s big dig money pit.

Then you have your unequal distribution by way of military bases (can’t put them in every state)
So who really isn’t paying their “fair share” ?
How about half the population that has NO federal tax liability whatsoever?

But even more importantly, with a deficit fast approaching twenty trillion dollars, it’s the spending stupid.

We get this same argument over state spending on highways here.
The libs from the cities throw up charts showing the least populated counties get more spending per capita on state roads than does the metro aria as an argument to jack gas taxes for more wasteful utopian light rail projects.

Or how they generously throw taxpayer money to billionaires to build luxurious playpens, (aka generous Obama donor) then feign outrage as those billionaires demand payment from those same taxpayers to get in.

  24. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

Also, along with those light rail projects, is gas tax money paying for bicycle and walking trails.

I agree AC… I am in full support of peaceful separation and dissolution of the existing union… Progs seem to look at the states which are wanting to secede with disdain anyhow. This really shouldn’t be more difficult than a complex divorce… We need to be divorced from each other to salvage our friendship… Too Easy… But sadly the consolidators of power and gubmint money will not allow this to happen…

  29. 70Stage1 says:

Alpha & Ghost….right on! Ashoka, moving along now.

  30. Ummah Gummah says:

Libs would never go for a separation. They have too much to lose. Even worse, dictators like Obama are into it for the control. They would never allow US to slip their hand..

Besides.. who will they redistribute from?

  31. Ummah Gummah says:

Besides, if all of US left and lives separately from the blue states, there’d be no more evil whitey or “rednecks” and “crackas” to blame for everything.

What companies would be left for them to extort, to sue or harrass into doing things that are bad for their business?

  32. Sam Adams says:

The real money in this country is made in blue cities.

And democrats are working hard to suck up as much money as possible, and convince those who make real money to move elsewhere.

Is Detroit a real money generator? Democrats are working hard to make sure there are no automakers left there.

All the taxes and regulations in New York City will eventually cause the financial center of the world to move elsewhere, most likely out of the country.

They farm the producer of his wealth, and the moocher of his vote

Has the thought ever occurred to anyone that government subsidized abortions are racist?

A higher percent of black women get abortions than white women.

A higher percent of Hispanic women get abortions than white women.

Why do we have the government supporting abortion minorities at all? More to the point, why does Obama support the destruction of his “own people?”

If current trends continue, by 2038, the black vote will be insignificant. No wonder democrats are working very hard to create a new underclass. Why else would they wish to create a class of people who don’t understand/speak the native language?
