$542M in tax-payer money helps Planned Parenthood to record year — 33,964 babies murdered in the name of progress and liberty.

    PP fact sheet:

*Tax-payer funding makes up 45% of PP’s annual revenue
*2009–2011 PP performs nearly 1 million abortions
*92% of PP’s “pregnancy services” are abortions
*PP reports $87.4M in excess revenue and more than $1.2B in net assets

    Chicago area hospitals on “bypass”.

No surprise this happens where moonbats rule. Expect this to become the rule with obamacare.

Tuesday morning, at least three Chicago-area hospitals remained on bypass. Northwestern Memorial, University of Chicago and Swedish Covenant were asking ambulances to pass them by, if they could do so safely, because so many people are flooding into their emergency rooms with the flu.

    Muslim Brotherhood Infiltrates Obama Administration

Six American Islamist activists who work with the Obama administration are Muslim Brotherhood operatives who enjoy strong influence over U.S. policy.

Sharia taking over for the Constitution under Obama. The linked article goes on to name several of those mentioned and provides background as well. Interesting reading, worth follow ups.

And what fact, that the moonbats in media and government are playing down, do both the recent shootings have in common?

Aurora police seized four prescription bottles when they searched theater-shooting suspect James Holmes’ apartment in July, according to newly obtained filings in the murder case against Holmes.

In the Aurora case officials have kept a tight lid on information but that is expected to change with upcoming hearings.

THE GIANT, GAPING HOLE IN SANDY HOOK REPORTING – 1 piece of crucial information has yet to be disclosed

Since last month’s horrifying and heartbreaking school massacre in Newtown, Conn., politicians and the press have, as everyone knows, been totally obsessed with firearms.

It has been more than three weeks since the shooting. We know all about the guns he used, but what “medication” may he have used?

    Moonbats on parade!

A communication professor known for conspiracy theories has stirred controversary at Florida Atlantic University with claims that last month’s Newtown, Conn., school shootings did not happen as reported — or may not have happened at all.

ames Tracy asserts in radio interviews and on his that trained “crisis actors” may have been employed by the Obama administration in an effort to shape public opinion in favor of the event’s true purpose: gun control.

You know, I can see why someone might think this, particularly after fast and furious. But to ask it publicly – I think the evidence largely speaks for itself. Families lost children (and a few adults) – this is just wrong. Moonbats come in all flavors.

This guy sounds like a 9/11 truther.

Do as I say, not as I do: Fancy Beretta for gun control fan McAuliffe

Just because Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe is pushing for an assault weapons ban and one-gun-a-month restriction in the Old Dominion doesn’t mean he’s opposed to slinging lead.

In fact, the former Democratic Party chairman is one of Virginia’s newest gun owners.

Whether he meant to or not, McAuliffe’s purchase at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Bailey’s Crossroads made a statement related to the current push for national gun control in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings.

Failing at blaming Sandy on anthropogenic climate change, Democrats are now blaming prayers of Christie.

New Jersey Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D-Gloucester) said Monday that Gov. Chris Christie might have “prayed” for Superstorm Sandy, because it has provided cover for what Sweeney said are the governor’s failed economic policies.

Imagine that – a Democrat blasting a Republican for a government “stimulus” plan. And invoking God while doing it!

Well at least SOMEONE is endorsing Obama’s nomination of Hagel.

    Guess who!

Current TV staff lashes out at Gore.

“Of course Al didn’t show up,” said one high placed Current staffer. “He has no credibility.

“He’s supposed to be the face of clean energy and just sold [the channel] to very big oil, the emir of Qatar! Current never even took big oil advertising—and Al Gore, that bulls***ter sells to the emir?”

“The greatest freedom you can give someone is the freedom to know they will not go hungry,” said Jason Helvenston. “Our Patriot Garden pays for all of its costs in healthy food and lifestyle while having the lowest possible carbon footprint. It supplies valuable food while being attractive. I really do not understand why there is even a discussion. They will take our house before they take our Patriot Garden.”

That may be what the government eventually does in order to show them who’s boss!

    Obama the censor

Actually I think it’s reasonable to keep hands off his kids perhaps. Haven’t looked too deeply into this, but let them enjoy their childhood without always facing photographers. But will the left give the kids of conservatives the same treatment?

It’s a short drive (relatively) to AZ or NV!

California assembly member Nancy Skinner unveiled Assembly Bill 48. It would require bullet buyers to show identification. It would also require ammunition dealers to be licensed and report all sales to the department of justice. ”Right now you can buy bullets in any store and the sale is not recorded”, James said. “Gun violence will continue unless we control the sale of bullets.”

How would this prevent or help anything?

    That’s right, it wouldn’t.

And they’re wrong – these days with computers controlling most sales it’s likely MOST if not ALL sales of bullets leave a significant electronic/recoverable trail.

Republicans May Try to Use Debt Ceiling to Force Reid To Pass Budget.

But they’ll probably wind up backing down and just make themselves look foolish & impotent in the process.

Gee, who would have guessed cutting taxes and spending would create a surplus?

Legislators in Texas, the biggest energy producer among U.S. states, will begin deliberating its next two-year budget with a surplus forecast today to match an $8.8 billion record set in 2007.
The Texas economy has topped budget projections over the past 15 months, as booming energy output fueled job growth and an 11 percent fiscal first-quarter gain in sales-tax receipts, the biggest source of general-fund revenue. Even after paying off $7 billion in health and school bills, Comptroller Susan Combs said today that the state will be flush heading into 2014.

Of course, the key is also energy production, something Obama and his minions prevent at all costs, including at the cost of destroying the economy.

    No taxpayer funded abortions. Right.

And we’re talking about banning guns over a relative handful of deaths when this organization is approaching a million murders every 3 years:

In its latest annual report for fiscal year 2011 to 2012, Planned Parenthood reveals that it performed 333,964 abortions in 2011 – a record year for the organization.

According to annual reports, the organization performed 332,278 abortions in 2009, 329,445 in 2010, making the total number of abortions in three years to 995,687.

Planned Parenthood reported receiving a record $542 million in taxpayer funding, according to a Susan B. Anthony List analysis of the report, in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements. The amount is 45 percent of Planned Parenthood’s annual revenue.

“While government subsidies to Planned Parenthood have reached an all time high, so too has the number of lives ended by this profit-driven abortion business,” SBA List’s President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement. “Destroying nearly one million children in three years is not health care and does not reflect a concern for vulnerable women and girls.”

They claim they’re about prevention and contraception, but:

Contraceptive services at Planned Parenthood have dropped by 12 percent since 2009, and cancer screening & prevention services have dropped by 29 percent.

And a double “guess the race/ethnicity of the perp:

Pregnant woman gunned down on Miami street Monday night

That one is a bit premature – they haven’t released the details yet, but guess what they will be when they ARE released.

  16. Bob Roberts says:

Finally a voice of reason – but will he be heard and, more important, will his suggestion be adopted?

You fast-forward to the debt ceiling. I think that’s the mirror image of the fiscal cliff, because the default, if nothing happens, is that the debt ceiling is not raised.

And what that means — it doesn’t mean, as some who would demagogue this issue suggest, it doesn’t mean a default on our debt. What not raising the debt ceiling would mean is a partial government shutdown. Roughly, 40 cents of every dollar the federal government spends is borrowed. If you don’t raise the debt ceiling, that 40 cents is temporarily stopped.

Now, we did that in 1995. We didn’t default on our debt.

And the result was balanced budgets, and some of the greatest fiscal responsibility we have seen in modern times from Congress, because fiscal conservatives stood together and said we need to be responsible.

  17. Bob Roberts says:

Texas cuts taxes and spending, ends up with $8 Billion Surplus

Meanwhile, California raised taxes (and increased spending even though the budget was also busted) and wound up deeper in the hole.

Here is part of the answer.

Of course the Democrats mantra of “tax, spend, regulate, hate” has a lot to do with it too.
