Liberal moonbats won’t be satisfied until they ban some weapons. I say it’s time to help them out. For example, here are a couple of weapons that I think we should ban:

    1. Cathode Ray Guns. Any cathode ray gun with more than a 50 kV acceleration voltage is just too dangerous for anyone to own without a license.

    2. Thermonuclear weapons that produce more than a 10 megaton yield. Face facts…your neighborhood watch group doesn’t need this powerful of a weapon.

First burglary thanks to irresponsible journalism:

I suppose it’s an opportune time for a discussion on reasonable restrictions on the First Amendment. After all, the Founding Fathers never envisioned Gore Vidal inventing the Internet. /sarc

    Sam Adams
    What’s the difference ?

According to Piers Morgan, the government will just nuke us anyway

  4. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

Of course the zonbies would go after the guns.
Guns are in very high demand to them.
When they finally slip up and walk into a homeowner ambush, libs will blame the homeowner because he should have known the crook was coming

  5. Ummah Gummah says:

The problem I see coming is that once certain guns are outlawed and subsequently used in home defense, their owners will be subject to prosecution after the fact.

That is what I think is behind this current drive to outlaw all types of guns.

They are trying to reduce the numbers of effective arms in Citizen hands and they are trying to criminalize self-defense.

I hope Hussein the immaculate will keep me safe and warm. Mommygov knows best what is good for comrades. I must pay more in taxes for the good of the collective. Don’t be bitter clingers comrades, this is the great leap forward!

I guess that means NO marriage in France. After all, aren’t all French men gay? Have you ever seen the way they wear a scarf?

On a lighter note, this broad is so fat that she FELL THROUGH the sidewalk…

The US is already engaged in civil war. Cities are becoming more lawless each day prompted by racial division, poverty, and with too many cases of objectionable and sometimes brutal law intrusion based on purely subjective interpretations of “law”.

    Why are we pretending:

The US is already engaged in civil war. Cities are becoming more lawless each day prompted by racial division, poverty, and with too many cases of objectionable and sometimes brutal law intrusion based on purely subjective interpretations of β€œlaw”.

I wonder what liberal cities you are talking about?

Violent crime overall is down. Many states are enacting better concealed carry laws. More guns=less crime.

It is true that in most conservative states, we don’t have gangs of lawless youths roaming the streets, engaged in various forms of race-based violence.

Our liberal overlords are not pleased.

We can begin with Chicago and move on to Detroit….
where ever the buildings grow tall…although South LA
and Jacksonville are places where even angels fear to tread πŸ™ I hear the Bronx and Philly are no go zones, too

  12. hiram says:

That graphic is disingenuous… the classroom that the Obama kids get to go to is NOT a “Gun Free Zone”, what with all the armed guards at Sidwell Friends.

Oh, that’s right. That’s where the special kids (the ones more equal than others) get to go. Ours get bussed to Crackville Junior (Very) High. That one isn’t a “Gun Free Zone” either, but not in the same way…

  13. Sam Adams says:

Gun free zones aren’t ever, rally gun free. Those who are our betters always have folks around them who aren’t disarmed.

Little story. Back in the day, Senator Jay Rockefeller was Governor Jay Rockefeller. He toured the plant where I worked that just happened to make high explosives. The plant had a strict “no firearms” policy which actually made sense…after all, a stray bullet hitting the wrong type of material can produce a rather impressive explosion.

Jay was limited to a single armed bodyguard…who still had a gun.

Some are more equal than others.

  14. Sam Adams says:

And now for something completely different…

Jodie Foster comes out as gay at Golden Globes
… The two-time best actress Oscar winner for “The Silence of the Lambs” and “The Accused” said she had valued her privacy because of her early acting career, which started at the age of three.

“If you had been a public figure from the time that you were a toddler, if you’d had to fight for a life that felt real and honest and normal against all odds, then maybe you, too, might value privacy above all else,” she said.

Jodie wants privacy about her private life, after her public announcement.

    Ironic, I know….

  15. hiram says:

Sam, have you seen pics of Jodie’s former “partner in love”?

I was unaware that Nancy Pelosi and Bob Hope had a baby back during the Wilson administration…

  16. Jodie says:

Can we please specify Jodie “Foster” each and every time we refer to her? Thanks! I wouldn’t want any confusion. LOL!

  17. hiram says:

Sorry, Jodie. LOL. Man, that must drive you nuts.

  18. Jodie says:

I didn’t mean that to you! I was just trying to get ahead of the siteeation. I actually like Jodie Foster as an actress and a person. But, since there are just a few of us who spell our name that way – and I’m not liberal minded in any way, shape, or form, I just don’t want anyone to get the wrong impression.

  19. Sam Adams says:

So Jodie, we could refer to you as “The Jodie without a girlfriend.”

Somehow, I doubt any here would be confused as to which Jodie we might be referring to.

  20. Jodie says:

    Sam Adams,

“The Jodie without a girlfriend”, yeah, that sounds great. Wait…maybe not. How about, I am “Jodie” and anyone else should be referred to as “Jodie Foster” or “Jodie whomever”? Good?

  21. Sam Adams says:

The one and only true Judie? I like that. Foster is trying to be “cool by association.” She knows she can’t hold a candle to you.

  22. Jodie says:

Awwwwhhh. That’s why I love your comments Sam Adams!

  23. dan says:

Sam is cool and makes darned good beer πŸ™‚

and now this from teh EPA : πŸ™

  24. Sam Adams says:

I’m rather fond of several of my more famous sayings:
β€œThe liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation – enlightened as it is – if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men.”
    ― Samuel Adams

Let me put that in more succinct terms:
“If we squander our liberties which we inherited from past patriots who purchased those liberties with toil, sacrifice, and blood, our children and grandchildren will curse our names.”

  25. Sam Adams says:

Another one of my famous quotes:
β€œNil desperandum, — Never Despair. That is a motto for you and me. All are not dead; and where there is a spark of patriotic fire, we will rekindle it.”
    ― Samuel Adams

Patriotic fire can never be quashed by the likes of our current collection of Marxists.
