Pressure, and making public the name, home address, and home phone number of the liberal reporter who outed legal gun owners in NY has paid off. There’s a valuable lesson here, one that the weak and gutless republicans should pay attention to. You can defeat the left when you use their own tactics against them.

MPs call for doctors to record the sex of aborted foetuses (girls killed in Britain)

There have been calls for an inquiry after minister disclosed that birth rates for girls and boys vary noticeably according to where their mothers were born.

It was the first official statistical evidence potentially backing up concerns that sex-selection abortions are being carried out in Britain.

It’s a fact – females are aborted more often than males.

Abortion also discriminates against blacks and hispanics. More of them (per capita) are killed too.

    Too little, too late.

For more typical moonbat irony, skip to the last bits and read the bolded portion.

A suburban New York newspaper that outraged gun owners by posting the names and addresses of residents with handgun permits removed the information from its website Friday.

The Journal News took down the data just three days after the state enacted a gun control law that included privacy provisions for permit holders.

The provisions were a reaction to interactive maps the newspaper published on that pinpointed thousands of permit holders in Westchester and Rockland counties.

Gun rights activists had immediately complained that permit owners’ privacy was being violated. They said the map could guide burglars to their homes while police groups claimed the map could lead ex-convicts to the officers who had put them away.

The addresses of some Journal News staffers were posted online, and threats were called in to the newspaper’s offices. The newspaper hired armed guards in response.

Point of order… Del. Todd Gilbert, R-Woodstock, interrupted Morrissey’s speech to ask him to take his finger out of the trigger guard

The way I see it, it’s like feeding the hogs a steady diet of live chickens.
Eventually their taste for blood becomes so strong that when the chickens are all consumed, they reject a now bland diet of corn and begin cannibalizing each other.

The saddest effect of the anti-ZDT camp is its swerve toward a new McCarthyism. I admit that it’s not the most adept analogy, but it’s altogether too disproportionate to make comparisons between the anti-ZDT camp and the denunciations of artists by the early Leninists, Stalinists, and Maoists that escalated into the exiling, imprisonment, and execution of artists. But we should remember that it was such slides of the left into wholesale fascism that set even the most benign factions of the left back politically in America and Europe for over half a century. Which is why I ask Sheen, Asner, Clennon and their supporters to consider how they are helping to fracture the left with their censoring of art from the awards it deserves.
It’s as if they are (at some level) cognizant of the giant magnet which pulls all liberals to totalitarianism.

At least one lib has realized at some level that this utopian society has a flaw

But the left is guilty, too. The rush to publicly convict George Zimmerman for killing Trayvon Martin resulted in an indictment that most defense attorneys have since characterized as absurdly overreaching and aggressive. Yet outside of legal commentators and pundits, most on the left seemed to be okay with it. There have also been credible accusations of prosecutorial misconduct that have received little coverage outside the conservative media (which itself seems suddenly interested in protecting the rights of the accused). When Elliott Spitzer was trouncing the constitution with aggressive tactics in his pursuit of corporate bigwigs, he was largely cheered by progressives and editorial boards who are traditionally more supportive of the rights of the accused. When the Heritage Foundation first undertook its overcriminalization project, the progressive organization Media Matters actually mocked the conservative think tank for being soft on crime.

The power of the state would have been a better description.
If this author could only get himself to admit this is all by DESIGN, he would be over the hump.
But then he might be forced to deal with not only that which is banned, to include that which is mandated.
And Obamacare has cracked this Pandora,s box wide open.
It’s now only a matter of time before big brother FORCES those green vegetables down our necks.
And make no mistake, O’s fresh new executive orders stake out O Care as a potential vehicle to a gun ban.
After all, those zombies these prosecutors worked so hard to convict now benefit the state to a greater extent in the voting booth rather than consuming three hots and a cot.
The fact that they keep turning up at emergency rooms with gunshot wounds for their trouble of invading the subjects property is actually a liability to the state.
See, the criminal element broke the law just fine when laws were simple.
A complex legal web did nothing to “save us” from Bernie Madoff.
Madoff’s whole scam ironically RELIED on the complexity of regulation
In fact, it actually did more harm by blinding our eyes to common sense laws of economics such as buyer beware.

“…..The ones I didn’t sell (to Bob) wound up in the bottom of Lake Ponchartrain after a tragic boating accident (along with all my silver ingots).”

And you DIDN’T REPORT IT??? Not only are you required to report lost or stolen guns within 23 hours and 13 minutes of the incident, you’re also on the hook for the clean-up costs. The oil from those guns is now contaminating the lake, and the rust and powder residue is toxic. The whole lake is out of balance now…….and it’s home to the rare and endagered* Slutius Socialist Americanus, aka the Sandra Fluke, a bottom-feeder that lives nowhere else. That’s protected habitat, mister – you’re in big trouble.

Not only that, your silver ingots damaged the lakebed and are stirring up silt. The Army Corps of Engineers will need to dredge and recontour now…..and it’s a threat to navigation and commerce. We’re gonna need to spend stimulus money to prop up the industries affected, particularly the ones that didn’t contribute to Bobby Jindahl and use union labor.

So, not only will the IRS have to “investigate” where these “silver ingots” came from and why you did not properly report these on your last six tax returns, you’re on the hook for the dredging costs. You and your buddies in the RethugliKKKan 1% think tou can just pollute the lake and walk away????? You have another thing comin’……and, BTW, the IRS still wants to talk to you about the cash you got from that “Bob” character in “Flyover Country”.

Obama’s given 35 “speeches in which he referred to Slurpees.” The president’s gone golfing 113 times, playing 52 times close to the White House at Andrews Air Force Base.

Though he made 245 “domestic trips” (not including trips in or around DC) he still only visited 44 of our 57 states (get it?) and he has avoided Arkansas, Idaho, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, all states that voted for Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election.

  29. Bob Roberts says:

Turns out Obama shot himself in the foot.

Spending caps that Obama signed into law in 2011 will make it difficult to boost investment in education, scientific research, transportation and other areas that he says will help the country retool for heightened global competition and rapid technological change, budget experts say.

Because those caps won’t keep pace with inflation and population growth, the government will effectively have 16 percent less to spend in these areas by the time Obama leaves office in 2017, according to White House estimates.

But not to worry. He’s already shown us he has no problem shredding the Constitution – how is any law he signed going to be any more of a constraint on his lawlessness?

  30. Alphamail says:

    Ummah Gummah

Mary is slightly correct (if there is such a thing).

The movie was historical fiction – meaning the story of Oskar Schindler is true, but (for example) some of the conversations in the movie, of must needs be, were fabricated to highlight the context (since no one actually heard all the conversations in person).

A white supremacist like Mary will deny actual history and call it fiction because she can never advance the thought that Jews are normal everyday deserving people. She and her friends call them the “tribe.”

Sweep away Christianity (Sweep the Leg) and Rob Banks are among this group.

If you note Rob Banks entry at 2:00 am, it’s a video denigrating anyone using the term “white supremacist.”

Admittedly, there’s a fine line between being a white supremacist and being a person who understands the battle is one of ideology and not race.

In Revelation the Bible says, “…and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation…,” and also, “After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.”

These people have their own bible and their own concept of God, and there is no place in their spiritual world for anyone who isn’t pure white.

The commentors I mentioned will steer you to videos depicting a different (white) bible, fantasy kingdoms where whites rule, and one cleansed of Jews, blacks, or mixed races.

The argument is definitely true that white people (like myself) are being targeted, discriminated against, and unjustly called bigots or racists (and it pisses me off). It’s also sadly true, that a great many ignorant whites have been convinced they need to feel guilty because of the sufferings of non-whites. That’s a major reason Obama was elected, and that’s a major reason his racist agenda has found a footing.

His divisive tactics are not much different than the white supremacists – both agendas are driving the races further apart.

Having said that, it’s ironic that almost every argument put forth by these skinheads are arguments with which I agree. Allowing illegal immigration – including the insane preferrenced policies for Muslims – should be an impeachable offense; affirmative action was/is a crime against American values and against white people; racial profiling IS necessary; it’s hypocrisy when a black person can say nigger and I can’t; blacks are getting immoral preferential treatment; and, the rot and crime in inner-cities is nearly 100% black.

I simply contend the battle is ideological/spiritual not racial.

The racist argument has to deny God and the Bible, it has to focus on stupidity of blacks when in fact the situation wouldn’t have progressed this far without the stupidity of whites, and their end game is an intrinsic foregone conclusion – the elimination of darker pigments or anyone else who disagrees with them.

We got in this situation because of vanity and one of it’s illegitimate children called Marxist ideology.

We’re pretty frickin’ deep in it and solutions are getting harder to find…and, we may even be headed for a race war…

People have chosen to ignore the only thing that could have kept us out of this, and the only thing that will solve it – the Lord and His voice, the Bible.

So, my suggestion remains, say your prayers and buy more ammo.

My very good friend and his pals from a Baptist Church in a Seattle suburb have been feeding the homeless in downtown Seattle via a lunchtime soup line, every other Thursday for about a decade. Needless to say, no violence, no illness – only thanks from the homeless.

The homeless, per se, are different than the old days, with a large segment of them being alcoholic, drug-addled, or mentally ill. But they aren’t out in dangerous numbers in the daytime in Pioneer Square – a Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde location from day to night. So this is political policy straight from Mayor McGinn’s office.

My grandmother and grandfather lived by the railroad tracks in central Washington in the 30’s and 40’s where my grandpa placed a “Soup here” sign beside the tracks where the rail-riding hobos could see it, and my grandma would have a constant kettle of soup for the down and out. Today that would be suicide, but certainly not in daytime downtown suit-and-tied Pioneer Square where attorneys and business men and women, and shops and restaurants are doing ordinary business.

Again, this is straight out of the progressive stop-your-unwanted-individual-decency, government-will-save-your-soul playbook. The politicians here lather themselves to a climax to be like San Francisco.

Even though forewarned by conservatives, they built several million dollar public toilets for the homeless, which the homeless refused to use except for prostitution and drug deals, and the facilities had to be removed.

The mayor is on a crusade to get everyone out of cars and on bicycles, and to get mass transit to every outlying area – against public wishes. He’s closed off sections (streets) of the city to cars and has jacked up the parking meter costs downtown to prohibitve rates.

They’ve renovated an entire building for the worst alcholics (in which the alcholics are allowed to drink) in an attempt to save on the cost of 9-1-1 calls and the ER for these misfits.

They can’t budget their money so they’re beginning to toll all the roads.

During Fast and Furious and Benghazi the Seattle Times reported ZERO information but kept running pictures and articles about their editor’s impending gay marriage.

If it weren’t for Boeing, Microsoft, Nordstrom, Amazon, and Starbucks – with these ideologically warped mind-f**ks – Seattle would resemble Detroit, with boarded up buildings and gubmint taking care of all the idle Obamatrons.

Peogressive Blue Seattle is on the salt-water Puget Sound. If you go a few miles east of town it turns Red Conservative and continues Red clear to the eastern border, nearly 300 miles – where I moved for my sanity.

Suffice to say, (and happily so) most of the firearms in this state are east of Seattle.

Another Moonbat Democrat down in flames.

Federal prosecutors have filed a fraud charge against Michigan Supreme Court Justice Diane Hathaway, just a few days before she leaves the state’s highest court in a scandal involving the sale of a Detroit-area home and suspicious steps taken to conceal property in Florida.

Hathaway and her husband, Michael Kingsley, deeded a Florida home to Kingsley’s daughter while trying to negotiate a short sale on a house they couldn’t afford in Grosse Pointe Park.

In a short sale, a bank agrees to a sale that wipes out any remaining mortgage, a significant benefit for any borrower. The 2011 deal went through and erased the couple’s $600,000 debt in Michigan. Five months later, in 2012, the debt-free Windermere, Fla., home worth more than $600,000 went back in their names for $10.

The bank fraud charge says Hathaway made false statements to ING Direct, transferred property to others and failed to disclose available cash _ all in an effort to fool the bank into believing she had a severe financial hardship. Kingsley, also a lawyer, has not been charged.

However, what I don’t understand is that they should have simply fast-tracked permission to feed the homeless with the city’s blessing, not threatened those who do it.
