While the elected lying crooks in congress are dreaming up ways to disarm the law abiding citizens of this country, the ATF is busy givng “assalut weapons” away. But they’re not too worried since it’s the tax-paying fools who paid for them.

The father’s crime was owning a gun. If we could just rid the world of all guns, all violence would cease.

Alan Korwin (who writes extensively on gun laws) analyzes the Feinstein bill.
Pro-rights and anti-rights attention has been focused on the tremendous list of guns that would be banned under Feinstein’s bill, which takes up a significant portion of the 122 pages of this proposal.

Here’s the problem none of the “news” reports have spotted:

The list of guns doesn’t matter.
    Magazine size doesn’t matter.
If the semi-auto firearm has anything to grip it by, it is banned.
    It’s very clever actually.

According to the bill, any semiautomatic firearm that uses a magazine — handgun, rifle or shotgun — equipped with a “pistol grip,” would be banned. That sounds like a limitation, but it is not.

A pistol grip (on page 2) is defined (on page 13) as “a grip, a thumb-hole stock, or any other characteristic that can function as a grip.” In other words, the gun list does not matter. It is a smokescreen designed to distract people from the true meaning of the bill. And it has done a magnificent job. It worked!

Any semi-automatic firearm that exists, with anything on it you can grip, is banned. (There is a grandfather clause for old stuff.)

The list is meaningless tripe. It is camouflage for the real purpose of the bill. When the president said he is not going to take away your guns, well, Feinstein’s bill puts the lie to that.

Magazine size does not matter. Brand name does not matter. It doesn’t matter if it’s black. If you can grip it, it’s banned under this bill.

    Have a nice day.

    Wow, some sense, at last!

The Newtown Board of Education wants more armed police officers in the town’s four elementary schools after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary.

Last night, they decided to ask the town to approve the request to include one additional full-time Newtown police at each of the elementary schools in next year’s budget.

Members of the board will meet today with state and federal officials about obtaining additional funding for security.

Wow, eliminate the myth of “gun free zones” and actually have an armed guard on site and ready to respond at a moments notice.

Who would come up with such a wacky idea? Where have I heard that before.

That’s right – We have been calling for this. We came up with this idea, though others did too. When it’s the right idea multiple people come up with it independently.

A student opened fire at his middle school Thursday afternoon, wounding a 14-year-old in the neck before an armed officer working at the school was able to get the gun away, police said.

A middle school where a 14-year-old boy was shot and wounded in the neck by a fellow student had metal detectors, and school officials were investigating how the shooter made it past them.

A suicide bomber killed himself and a Turkish security guard Friday at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara in what the White House described as a terrorist attack.

‘Rich Tax’ Puts California on Risky Path

California’s increased reliance on its wealthiest taxpayers offers the potential for revenue gains when financial markets are on the upswing and budget turmoil when they are on the slide, Fitch Ratings Senior Director Douglas Offerman said.

“The higher reliance on personal income tax is a double-edged sword,” Offerman said.

When financial markets do well, the most populous U.S. state’s wealthy do well and that helps fill its coffers because they provide the lion’s share of the revenue from personal income taxes.

A young woman was facially disfigured and almost lost her eyesight in a horrific unprovoked acid attack.

Naomi Oni, 20, was on her way home from work when an unknown attacker dressed in a niqab threw a chemical substance at her leaving the retail assistant with severe burns on her head, neck, arms, legs and body.

These shocking images have now been released by Ms Oni in an appeal for help to catch the attacker whose identity was concealed behind the Muslim women’s dress which completely covers the face apart from the eyes.

Ms Oni, who is employed by Victoria’s Secret at the Westfield Stratford shopping centre, was five minutes from home in Dagenham, east London when she was attacked on December 30.

No doubt she was the victim of a fatawa.
