Living in liberal la-la land may not be what all the Obamatrons expected in Seattle. They got a punk-progressive mayor, same-sex faux-marriage, and over the counter pot.

Now the Seattle Police Department, the King County Sheriff’s Department (Seattle and outlying areas), and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), have all applied to the feds for licenses to fly drones.

Yup, big brother ‘Bama is going to be lording over us in more ways than one.

Although some caution it’s not known at this time whether this involves Dorner, law enforcement says YES, IT’S HIM, BREAKING NEWS:

Two San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies have been shot while pursuing a carjacking and home-invasion suspect in the Angelus Oaks area of Big Bear.

A law enforcement source confirms to the Associated Press that the assailant is triple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner, who is said to be heavily armed and engaging in gunfire with authorities from inside a cabin.

Repeated gunshots could be heard on Glass Road west of 7 Oaks just after 1:30 p.m. and officials requested an armored vehicle to help remove several injured deputies from the scene. A SWAT team was also called in to set up a perimeter of the area. KCAL9′s Carter Evans, who was reporting nearby, is safe despite loud gunfire that could be heard during his live report.

    Why am I NOT surprised?

You really do have to scratch your head at some of the lies and explanations the moonbats come up with these days.

REP. STENY HOYER (D-MD), HOUSE MINORITY WHIP: Does the country have a spending problem? The country has a paying for problem. We haven’t paid for what we bought, we haven’t paid for our tax cuts, we haven’t paid for war.

Stop spending money we can’t afford to spend. You admit there’s a money problem, STOP SPENDING!

And, of course, the obligatory BLAME BUSH:

HOYER: Well, we spent a lot of money when George Bush was president of the United States in the House and Senate were controlled by Republicans. We spent a lot of money.

YEAH? We spent A LOT MORE when Obama was in and DEMOCRATS were in control of both or at least 1 branch of the Congress.

Miami hotel selling green cards, seeking EB5 investment visas

The Miami immigration lawyer specializes in arranging visas for wealthy foreign citizens under a special program that trades green cards for investment dollars. Businesses get the money and must use it to boost payroll. The minimum investment is $500,000 to add at least 10 jobs to the economy. That puts the pressure on Hart and his partners at the Astor to beef up payroll dramatically, with plans to take a hotel with roughly 20 employees to one with as many as 100 workers.

Fort Hood Hero Says President Obama ‘Betrayed’ Her, Other Victims

Again, why am I NOT surprised?

Three years after the White House arranged a hero’s welcome at the State of the Union address for the Fort Hood police sergeant and her partner who stopped the deadly shooting there, Kimberly Munley says President Obama broke the promise he made to her that the victims would be well taken care of.

“Betrayed is a good word,” former Sgt. Munley told ABC News in a tearful interview to be broadcast tonight on “World News with Diane Sawyer” and “Nightline.”

“Not to the least little bit have the victims been taken care of,” she said. “In fact they’ve been neglected.”

    Bin Laden shooter abandoned, neglected.

For the first time, the Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden tells his story — speaking not just about the raid and the three shots that changed history, but about the personal aftermath for himself and his family. And the startling failure of the United States government to help its most experienced and skilled warriors carry on with their lives.

Although other sources report he does have five years of VA bennies coming that he didn’t now about AND he is also allegedly buying private health insurance.

Both MSM and Esquire, along with others, are being accused of inaccuracies in their reporting. I don’t know what it will look like once the dust settles on this one.

Moonbats determined to keep San Diego school (not far from here) defenseless against moonbats with guns!

A Tierrasanta teacher arrested for having a loaded gun on campus once told students that he had the gun to protect the school according to one student.
Farb Middle School teacher Ned Walker, 41, was arrested Monday in the school’s parking lot for having a .380 loaded semi-automatic handgun with a 7-round magazine as well as a 2.5 inch locking blade knife in his car.

“A search of the two cabinets revealed no ammunition or weapons however during a search of the parking lot and the suspect’s car in the parking lot it was determined he was in possession of a loaded firearm,” said San Diego Unified District Chief of Police Rueben Littlejohn.

“This employee brought the weapon to the school to protect himself in the event of a violent intruder,” Littlejohn said.

Walker faces a felony charge of possession of a firearm on school property. He’s also facing charges of possession of a knife with a locking blade.
Police are currently investigating the incident to determine how long he was carrying the gun on school grounds.

“With the exception of police, no one should be carrying a gun on school grounds,” Littlejohn said.
A group of Ned Walker’s former students said they knew the teacher had a weapon.
Walker’s former student Astin Martin told NBC 7 San Diego, “We all knew. We all knew that he had a gun.”
“He just said it was for protection for us. We didn’t really think he’d doing anything with it, he’s a good teacher,” Martin said.
When asked how it became common knowledge on campus, Martin said Walker revealed that he had the gun to his students at the beginning of the year.
“’I just have it for protection reasons in case something happened at the school,’” Astin recalled the teacher telling the class. “And we’re like ‘oh [ok]’, and he’s like ‘yeah’, and it was just pretty much, we knew about it.”
Martin told NBC 7 San Diego the idea of a teacher having a gun on campus didn’t bother the class.
“It made us feel extra protected,” he said.

STATE OF THE UNION: Food Stamp Rolls in America Now Surpass the Population of Spain

Since taking office in 2009, food stamp rolls under President Barack Obama have risen to more than 47 million people in America, exceeding the population of Spain.

“Now is the time to act boldly and wisely – to not only revive this economy, but to build a new foundation for lasting prosperity,” said Obama during his first joint session address to Congress on Feb. 24, 2009.

Since then, the number of participants enrolled in food stamps, known as the Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP), has risen substantially.

When Obama entered office in January 2009 there were 31,939,110 Americans receiving food stamps. As of November 2012—the most recent data available—there were 47,692,896 Americans enrolled, an increase of 49.3 percent.

The price of Keystone may be a carbon tax IN CANADA.

It is time Canadians became aware of the giant trap being set in Washington over Keystone. The short version is this: The president approves Keystone, greatly expanding the flow of Canadian oil sands production into the United States. In return, however, Canada has no choice but to accept a carbon tax at home as part of a grand bargain.

Second Heart Attack Grill spokesman dies from heart attack

The second unofficial spokesman for the Heart Attack Grill in downtown Las Vegas has died from an apparent heart attack.
