Profiles in Countermoonbattery: Keith Morgan

You don’t need a gun to blow the liberal media’s authoritarian apparatchiks full of holes, as Keith Morgan of West Virginia Citizen’s Defense League demonstrates:

On a tip from TED.

    OUCH!…. that’s gonna leave a mark. Somebody get the host a band-aid.
Good for you Mr. Morgan. I wish more people would not allow these liberal ass-hat’s to frame the argument with emotion.

  2. Tchhht!!! says:

After listening to a liberal acquaintance rant that all guns should be confiscated, I calmly asked him if he really, honestly believed that criminals would turn in their guns on orders from the government. End of conversation. He had no response. I truly believe that the question never even occurred to him.

There are so many of us like Mr. Morgan out here that are never heard from in the corrupt media. And we are right, they are wrong.

  6. Tatersalad says:

With due respect Mr. News Anchor but I live about 20 miles from Detroit and I see what being the police do with a force of 1/4 of what they really need. People need to defend themselves or they simply just get killed over a pair of shoes, a jacket or a $10 dollar bill. People need guns to defend themselves and also to defend themselves from bad government like we have now. I simply do not trust Barack Obama and his motives.

  7. Dennis Habern says:

Once the Moron that currently takes up space in the

White House and George Soros have been removed from

the United States and returned to the countries of

their origin, and the removal of “POLITICAL

CORRECTNESS”,then, and only then, can the U.S. return

to the power we once knew. The Moron is nothing more

than a Communist, reared in a den of Communist parents

and Grandparents, while Soros, the ex-Nazi collaborator

during World War Two, has spread his hatred to the

countries whom will not adhere to his treachry and

to his treasonous maneuvers. Both the Moron and Soros,

are guests in the U.S. Neither is a natural born

citizen. Get rid of the head, and destroy the body.

  8. GEE that LAPD nut job that went on a murderous rampage is one of those “law enforcement” people this Moonbat is protecting? it doesn’t get any more strange than this does it!

  9. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

The reason the policeman has a firearm is to protect himself, not us.
The leftist considers your life to be expendable, while the policeman still needs this advantage of self preservation, but only to fulfill his duty to advance the interests of the state.
Sentencing must now be measured based on “disparate impact” rather than severity of the crime
We are now (as the founders feared) a nation of men ruled by a “king”.

    Think about this:
Crimes against property alone tend to be motivated mainly by greed.
Meanwhile violent crimes can be motivated by greed, envy, lust, feelings of power and control, ect
All these are inherent aspects of human nature which can be used by the individual as a motivator for both good or evil
But the left mistakenly thinks it’s bankrupt ideology can and should eliminate these aspects of human nature entirely. (except for envy, which is good)
There is no difference (to a mouth breathing lib) between building a better mouse trap for monetary gain, and clobbering your neighbor in the scull for his last piece of cheese. Both are deemed evil.
See, society (to them)can only be made up of aggressors and victims.
And so as a counter to this aforementioned human nature, they attempt to elevate the status of the victim.
And disarmed subjects make for great victims.
Self defense is inherently an aggressive tactic. The victim’s role on the other hand is non aggressive and therefore seemingly pure.

    (I forgot to add)
Yet if your neighbor has been deemed to have “more than his share” of cheese, the bludgeoning is now perfectly acceptable

  15. SNuss says:

This makes a lot more sense:

BTW, since the DHS calles their new, fully-automatic assault weapons “Personal Defense Weapons”, shouldn’t AR-15s, and similar civilian guns be described the same way?

After all, Moonbats think “assault weapons” are bad, so “Personal Defense Weapons” must be GOOD.

  16. Joey says:

We need to understand that the police are ‘reactive’ and never ‘proactive’. Have you ever heard of the police arriving before a crime is committed? They always arrive after the fact when it is too late.

  18. MissAnthropy says:

Notice that the authoritarian simply refused to accept delivery of the fact that the police have no legal obligation to protect any one individual. If they were under such a legal obligation, then that would mean you could sue them for not being everywhere at all times. That is, in fact, what prompted the Supreme Court to clarify that they are NOT under any such obligation.

Liberals bristle at the notion that you are the one most responsible for your own safety and well being. No matter how intrusive and oppressive a police state they foist upon us in their efforts to tilt at Reality’s windmills, this fact will remain unchanged.

Another news bulletin for Mr. Interviewer: this “long overdue conversation”, as you characterize it, has in fact been going on for a few decades now and the results are not encouraging for you and your fellow statists. Public attitudes toward gun ownership have steadily shifted away from the pro-restriction side, a trend no doubt accelerated by your side’s inability to not grab a mile when given the proverbial inch. People have naively acquiesced to “common sense restrictions” in the past only to find out that your actual goal is nothing short of total confiscation.

The people to blame for criminal acts aren’t the millions upon millions of law abiding gun owners. If anyone other than the criminals themselves deserve blame it’s Nanny Statists like Mr. Interviewer for their insistence on cramming vulnerable people into virtual abattoirs with a flashing, neon “Unarmed Victim Zone” sign on all the doors.

Law enforcement does not have a duty to protect an individual. To Mr. New Anchor, it is not the Bill of Needs, it is the Bill of Rights.
