Resistance Begins

Half of this country may be content to be lorded over by looting authoritarians openly hostile to the freedoms our forefathers fought to secure. But the other half is still America:

Linn County [Oregon] Sheriff Tim Mueller wrote a letter to Biden Monday saying his department will not enforce any new gun laws it considers unconstitutional.

Mueller said politicians are “attempting to exploit the deaths of innocent victims” by supporting laws that would harm law-abiding Americans. The sheriff said he took an oath to support the Constitution, and laws preventing citizens from owning certain semi-automatic firearms and ammunition magazines would violate their rights.

Sheriff Mueller makes an excellent point:

“We’re restricted and prohibited from enforcing all types of federal laws, including immigration laws. It would be unreasonable for anyone to think that I would enforce a federal firearms law.”

Meanwhile, in Texas:

Republican state Rep. Steve Toth plans to introduce a bill that would make it illegal to enforce in the state any federal laws restricting semi-automatic firearms or the size of gun magazines.

Toth told 1200 WOAI that the bill would also call for felony charges to be brought against federal officials who attempt to enforce any such rules.

For the next few years, every safeguard we have against federal tyranny will be put to the test. This prominently includes state and local officials, who will have to decide whether they serve Obama or America.

The Oath Keepers have already made their choice.

Put this in your choom pipe and smoke it, Barry.

They are afraid of not just the guns, but of by a well armed and well informed populace that understands the meaning and intent of the Second Amendment. It is the well informed and the well armed that they fear, as they should. The are racing against the clock as we become more informed and better armed. Accordingly, they must act in haste, as they see us rapidly peeling away the layers of lies that have kept them insulated for so long.

The time is coming. The tree of liberty cries out to be refreshed. Perhaps soon we’ll find out how many real Americans are left in this country. And don’t be concerned with what the left says. No matter what happens, it is We The People who will be blamed. So be it!

What’s that sound we hear growing louder with each passing moment? Could it be outraged sovereign individuals mustering for a second American Revolution?

    Double-Click Security System:

“Rahm Emanuel stated at the very beginning of the dysfunctional Obama administration, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste….” Ever since those cold gray days in January of 2009 the people of the United States have watched one crisis after another being (manufactured) in Washington, DC.

Obama and his socialist clique know full well that they could never get the people of America to accept their totalitarian dictatorship if they took the time to look at the facts of the issue. Obama understands that if he can:

    1. Create a crisis out of a problem. (It does not matter if the problem is local or national)

    2. Blame the Congress for not solving the problem immediately.

    3. Employ the national media to whip up the emotions of the illiterate masses.

With these three simple steps complete, Obama now can criticize and blame the Congress for the crisis. He starts beating his jungle drums and his media lackeys start to disparage the congress for not doing something immediately without thoughtful consideration of all the facts. Have you notices that the perception of congress is as low as it has ever been simply for doing their job?

Over the past several decades, the foundations have been established by the national teachers unions to turn out students with no understanding of how the American legislative system was designed to function. When the legislature is allowed to function as designed we the people benefit. When the legislature is neutered by the executive branch and the national media then we the people are disenfranchised and lose. Laws can only work when based on fact. Laws can only fail when based on fear, hysteria, and emotion.

Now let’s get back to the Double Click Security System. I am not saying that I own or possess a firearm of any kind. That is of no business to anyone but me. At the same time if you come toward me in a menacing manner you most likely will hear a click as my Double Click Security System is activated. If you stop and leave me alone then we will pass like two ships in the night. However, if you continue to come toward me then you might temporarily feel a ” slight” burning sensation, but the second click will not be heard.

The tragedy at the elementary school in Connecticut was truly regrettable. It made the front page of all the newspaper and prime time television broadcast. My question is, why do the nightly murders in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York which are equal to or greater than the Connecticut numbers, not get the same outcry in the media? All three areas have similar gun prohibition laws. Could it be that these cities are ruled by socialist party bosses that hold immunity because of their party affiliation?

For me I will stick with my Double Click Security System. If you wish to help me test it sometime, please stop by some night and don’t bother to knock first before entering my home…”

The scumbag who shot Gabby Giffords and several others was clinically bonkers THEN, and he still is. Why was he loose?

The scumbag who killed all those people in an Aurora (Colorado) theater was clinically bonkers THEN, and he still is. Why was he loose?

The rat bastard who murdered those Sandy Hill tykes was clinically bonkers, period. Why was he loose?

The problem isn’t the weaponry. The problem is the raving lunatic who is running loose, because psychobabblers and liberal do-gooders are determined to ‘understand’ these clinically bonkers assholes’ mental health instead of putting them away.

Well I can think of some other mentally ill people who should be required to submit to fingerprinting and a thorough background check. Start with our current politicians and then the media.

  11. Maudie N Mandeville says:

If Obama adds anything onto the #4473 form he could delay printing and mailing the forms. Once the forms are rec’d, he could make the new background check a lengthier time consuming process. States should band together to share information for their own background checks using agreed upon criteria. If ATF officers in those states interfere, arrest and jail.

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against… We’re after power and we mean it… There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.” -Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

Dr. 9 – PLUS all the scumbag violent criminals they let out through the revolving door of the so-called criminal justice system.

  16. 762x51 says:

Sheriff Mueller has a very valid point about being restricted from enforcing current federal laws. Unfortunately, this will ultimately lead to a federal police force which is already in place in the form of the DHS. Like their predecessors, the Gestapo, DHS fields both uniformed and covert operatives against the civilian population they are marketed to be protecting. Their REAL purpose is to protect the federal government, not the civilian population. The Emperor Obama has made it perfectly clear that the civilian population, at least the portion that opposes him, are his enemies, not al Qaeda or his friend Vladamir, or his friends in the Muslim Brotherhood.

As such HE and his minions are OUR enemy.

Perhaps something along the lines of a civilian national security force, just as large, just as powerful, just as well funded as our military? Now where have I heard that before? 😉

For most politicians, suggesting such a thing, and making it part of your campaign, would be the end of their career. But if you toe the party line, the media makes sure such “mis-speaks” conveniently go down the memory hole.

  18. Ummah Gummah says:

I like my two-gun solution.. Also good just in case one of them jams.. The lady in the closet with her two kids could’ve simply switched guns and kept on shooting.. saves reloading time..

There was a national movement for deinstitutionalization of the mentally ill on the state level and the Carter administration got national legislation supporting and advancing the movement. There was very little thought as to what would replace the old mental hospitals that were being closed all across the country.

The people who would have previously been institutionalized now make up the majority of the Democratic party.

My point was that attaining a “bipartisan” bill chock full of RINO signatures will fast track the ultimate goal of total confiscation. This is the ultimate prize.
In the meantime however, O will be just as content to take our second amendment rights even if he has to use O Care to declare every damn one of us mentally unfit to carry.
While all this distraction is going on, Boehner will probably give the farm away.

  27. Patriot in Grand Rapids says:

Here is the inconvenient truth the anti-gun fanatics will seldem listen to even if you held their head with both hands by their ears and spoke directly to them.

    Homicides by weapon:

Note that homicides by rifle is lower than by shotgun.

All homicides by all guns is trending lower. Also all homicides are trending lower.

You are 4 times more likely to be killed by knives, club, hammer, hands & feet than by the total of all long guns.

    FBI statistics:

If you want to make our children safe in schools and colleges, make sure that visitor access to schools is only by a controlled access vestibule and that teachers have means to lock hardened doors at every classroom. We did this much for the general public at airports and for pilots of planes. It has successfully stopped all gun mayhem in air travel. This is the least we can do for our children and this much should receive no resistance from anyone including the NRA. It is likely that volunteers would even donate to enact these safeties.

When a felon or person known to be a risk attempts to buy a gun, ammunition, body armor, utilize a gun range, attend a gun show a flag should be raised. This is no different than the “NO FLY LIST”. Records show that madmen-mass killers are generally known to authorities well before they go berserk. Additionally, a huge percentage of the gun homicides are perpetrated by young undereducated, unparented, unemployed men. Often gangs and drugs are involved. These guys are known to the police, often have records and, with the current poor enforcement of 20,000 exiisting gun laws will ALWAYS have guns. If you ban black guns with rubber handles they will find or steal another. Blaming the killing on a particular weapon while denying any societal culpability is self-serving and shameful. Pursuing particular hardware will be seen as divisive and unconstitutional. “my spoon made me fat”

The 2nd amendment was NOT written to guarantee our right to hunt small game with pop-guns. In 1775 British troops were sent out to seize stockpiled militia/civilian arms. Including cannon. Paul Revere’s ride was to warn patriots in Concord of the British approach. The British troops were there to enforce civil subjugation in the face of unrest provoked by protests against raised unfair taxes by the central govt without representation. Armed revolt ensued with an 8 year war. After the successful Revolution when the constitution was written the right to have arms was one of the earliest written in. It was for citizen protection from the govt, foreigners, and Indians. Two of these threats still exist and if one doesn’t understand this bit of history, he or his heirs will repeat it.
