Student Barred from Class for Denying That There Are More Than Two Genders

Academia has reached the point where acknowledging objective reality is not merely frowned upon; it is forbidden:

A student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania has been barred from attending a religious studies class required for graduation after pointing out that there are only two genders.

Compounding his thought crime, Lake Ingle denied the mythical wage gap that has been thoroughly debunked. Also, he spoke when the floor had been opened to women only (although only after waiting half a minute for a woman to speak up).

According to Ingle, the class was forced to watch a Ted-Talk on February 28 featuring Paula Stone, a transgender woman, who gave examples of “mansplaining,” “male privilege,” and systematic sexism. Following the video, Ingle wrote that the instructor “opened the floor to WOMEN ONLY. Barring men from speaking until the women in the class have had their chance to speak.”

The instructor is one Alison Downie, whose guffaw-inducingly moonbatty academic interests include “ecofeminist theologies” and “disability theologies.”

Ingle has been ordered to apologize to the class and then stand in silence while Downie and woke students denounce him. If he publicly grovels for forgiveness and avers that he now understands that 2 + 2 = 5, maybe they will let him graduate. If not, he will serve as an example for others.

Rather than give in, Ingle has taken the fight to the Academic Integrity Board.

“I am not battling my professor to prove that I am right about gender wage gaps or transgenderism, I am fighting to ensure that students may disagree with their professors and if they do, must speak up.”

If there were any justice, the school would name a building after him.
