Tea Party Counterprotest Fizzles in Napa

The maniacal racist demagogues of the Congressional Black Caucus aren’t the only enemies the Tea Party has to contend with. Last Saturday the Green Party declared its own war in northern California. Zombie reports:

The catalyst that triggered this political firefight was the arrival in Napa of the Tea Party Express buses; Saturday, August 27 was the day the media-savvy group kicked off its coast-to-coast Reclaiming America Tour, culminating on September 12 in Tampa, Florida, at the CNN/Tea Party Express Debate between various presidential primary candidates.

Grassroots Tea Party groups from the region — the Wine Country, the North Bay, and nearby — converged on the Napa County Fairgrounds for a brief two-hour visit by the Tea Party Express buses and their accompanying CNN cameras.

But the Green Party simply could not let this stand. Word went out across the land that the Greens would be waiting with a “massive anti-tea party rally.”

Here’s what the “massive anti-tea party rally” looked like half an hour after it was scheduled to begin:

Most of the few dozen moonbats who turned out appeared more interested in imposing socialism directly in the time-honored Leninist fashion rather than through environmental hogwash. Others didn’t seem capable of formulating any coherent point of view beyond sputtering hatred of the freedom and decency represented by the Tea Party:

There was a separate counterprotest consisting of 10–20 union thugs. The Tea Party crowd numbered a good 2,000. Typically, a local media account grossly distorted the numbers, claiming there were 200 moonbats and only 600 patriots. But at least the mendacious report provided this gem of a photo:

Given what clowns they are, leftists are going to need more than the media on their side to hold down the Tea Party.

“Pissing off my delusional grandparents: priceless” — her ‘delusional’ grandparents are probably having a hard time keeping a straight face, knowing how stupid she will feel when she grows up and has to explain that sign to her kids. I imagine her ‘delusional parents’ are not as amused that their money is going to what is laughingly called an “education”.

  2. Daniel Shumaker says:

What a stunning turn out at the Anti-TEA Party rally! Why DOZENS of people showed up…no wait, that would be an exaggeration…

  3. David Shumaker says:

Can the Cal Poly guy identify the species to which he belongs, since he wants to “kill all humans”?

  4. Tim says:

I count 18 in the first picture not counting the 1 year old being dragged clearly against its will to the gathering of nutjobs

  5. Spider says:

“The Tea Party is a movement of many different kinds of people coming together spontaneously and voluntarily: Capitalists, Objectivists, Conservatives, Republicans, Democrats and Independents. We hold similar ideas and share a common goal of seeking to restore individual rights, Constitutional freedoms, limited government, and to establish free-markets and fiscal responsibility. For these reasons we are united against big government, against the intrusive, regulatory government of the welfare state. We hold a basic point of view: in order to realize the American Dream, each individual must work to earn it, and not look to government to hand them what others have earned…”

Kill All Humans??? Who will turn out the lights? Poor Earth–no one to turn out the lights–CARBON—Ohhh Noes!

What is the John Birh Society?

I do like the one selling posters and markers (highly priced ones, too). She seems to think doing so will somehow piss off her grandparents — though it does seem cruel to pick on the delusional, even if it IS free (priceless).

  7. A. Levy says:

A level of protection that Chico Obama deems essential to keep unwanted visitors out of the Red Shed, (WH) but views as intolerable when it’s used to keep uninvited visitors out of the United States of America…

  8. David Shumaker says:

LOL @ Momster’s comments — and essentially you and I are ‘cruel’ since we are laughing at someone who is ‘delusional” LOL 🙂

I’ll bet the local community organizers are getting an a** chewing by their superiors at the SEIU, ACORN and DNC. Where in the hell were the buses, boxed lunches, pre-printed placards and inner city welfare minions?

  11. TheDarkEricDraven says:

You guys don’t do much to prove them you aren’t racist, homophobic dicks.

  13. David Shumaker says:

WE aren’t required to prove anything… the burden of proof is on them. I’m guessing you went to school after the Dept of Education was created, so you do not know the rules of debate. Throw around any pejorative you wish, troll… the blacks, Latino and other minority Tea Partyers are all the ‘proof’ we need; the Log Cabin Republicans put the lie to the senseless neologism ‘homophobic’. You got nothin’. Schmuck.

Logan – you are the only one who noticed – must have thought it was a twelve year old girl

  20. DC Patriot says:

On October 6 2011 there is a massive protest scheduled to start by the left wing insurgency, marxists code pink seiu etc…

They are referencing the occupation of Egypt Syria Libya “The Arab Spring” as inspiration for this. This needs to be met with resistance from the Right…

We have been putting together small groups to police the incoming proteters prior to the reaching DC. MD VA WV PA If enough patriots orginize at a grass roots level with ties to “official”PD NG FD entities, there should be enough of us to at least “put a dent” in the incoming degenerates… Sign up for an account here

That way you can access the housing and travel board sections. From there you can either mislead or even prevent those traveling from reaching the protest. It is time for those who feel that we are on the verge of losing the shining city on the hill to fight to save Liberty. I will be out actively hunting those who are planning to “shut down DC” to try to stop them…

  21. Spock says:

Don’t these Lib loons have eyes, their policies are killing people, their policies are racist but they blame everyone else!!

Well they are proven facts that our public school system stinks, ask any lib protestor what Obama did, they will answer either Tea Party is racist or Foxnews are liars. see our Public school teachers like those in Wisconsin want to teach our children why mary has two mommies but not what 2+2 equals becasue their answer is to 2+2 is anything we want it to be.

  22. Spock says:

by the way Code Pink was started by Islamic Groups!! Look it up!!

Hey, check out that dude in the tie dye tshirt in the second picture. Oh wait…

Too bad liberal lizards but your anti-tea party forces are not as big as you claimed

  26. Son of Taz says:

Delusional grandparents. Would it be wrong of me to suggest that one of those grandparent slap the little sh*thead across the face, the way her BFF mommy or daddy should have done, and teach her about real life?

Or, is mom and dad not mentioned because they’re moonbats too?

  27. SR says:

The Bay area the bastion of liberalism and a few measly progs couldn’t out number 600 patriots.

  28. StanInTexas says:

To the person holding the “Kill All Humans” sign:

Please go ahead an kill yourself. The rest of us will be right behind you.
    I Promise!

  29. Winston Smith says:

Its like when they have COFFEE PARTIES. All you see are a few aging hippes with gray hair and tie dyed shorts and brainwased college kids with Che or Hammer and Sickle T shirts sitting in nasty old furniture.

  30. The MaryHunter says:

What the greens and pinks COMPLETELY missed here is the most obvious source of supporters: nutballs. Napa is the home of the California state mental hospital.

From the images above, only a few escapees made it.

The COSTUME DEPARTMENT put those nipples (I thought they were RIVETS) on the batsuit. And why are you HOMOPHOBIC all of a sudden?

  32. ThatDorkEricDraven says:

if I only had that boyfriend….I’d get of mom’s basement!

  33. KHarn says:

A couple of those people in the first picture seem to be having LUNCH instead of “counter-protesting”.

  34. TheDarkEricDraven says:

No, KHarn, Shumaker did it. It was his idea.

  35. geeknerd says:

What’s racist are economic policies that turn middle class blacks into poor blacks. Just like those of the O’Bama administration for the past 3 years.

Suppose they gave a anti-tea party protest and nobody came

  37. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

    Hey DarkSoiledDiaperDraven
Dave showed a picture of a WHITE counter protester standing next to the BLACK counter protester (who incidentally wants all humans killed)
So all is right in your world again.
I suspect you owe Dave an apology now.

  38. Tim says:

I dont speak Lib Tard, perhaps because I dont have a dick in my mouth, but can someone explain the the Eric impersonator sign to me what does this mean?

  39. Adam says:

I haven’t been to a Tea Party demonstration in a couple years (Too busy, sorry), but at the ones I had been to, the attempted counterprotests by moonbats were pitiful.
First, for an April 15th protest I went to, there were two:
    1. Some loser who tried shouting conspiracy theories through a bullhorn before being given the boot.
    2. A group of 3 Anarchist teens (Scrubby black clothing, horrible BO, one of them wore a shirt from the punk band Anti- Flag, whose fanbase consists pretty much solely of Anarchist losers like them) rode up on bikes to the edges of the protest a couple times, leered at us (One revealing the ugliest, most rotted teeth I’ve ever seen in my life when he did so; I’ve seen homeless people with better- looking teeth than him), then rode off, leaving no trace of their presence other than their stench which lingered for a few minutes afterward.
At the other Tea Party protest I went to on September 12 (This one was freaking HUGE), there were again mainly just two idiotic moonbats I remember being in attendance:
    1. Some guy drove by us screaming “GET A JOB!” (Never mind that the protest was being held on a Saturday morning, and most people don’t work on Saturdays).
    2. An ugly little weasel on a moped passed by us much closer, holding a sign that said in a typical displa of liberal maturity, “I banged Palin!”

  40. carl says:

Dark eric.yadda..yadda, do something to improve the lives of others.
Tell the folks here how you did it. Or you can piss off and die.

  41. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

Funny, the supposed “Koch brothers” Tea Party that was organized here was in fact the result of a Native American Indian Libertarian patriot.

  42. Spurwing Plover says:

When i was going to high school they came out with those dumb PET ROCKS i never had one becuase i thought it was pretty stupid

  43. KHarn says:

    “TheDarkEricDraven says:August 31, 2011 at 12:15 pm”

Well, it looked INCREDIBLY STOOOPID no matter who’s idea it was.

  44. David Shumaker says:

    ROFL@The Maryhunter hahahahahahahahah!

  45. LittleMissPerfect says:

I was at the Napa Tea Party and there was a group of counter-protester thugs in their matching union t-shirts, holding signs, yelling & intimidating the tea partiers entering the fairgrounds. I wonder how much their union bosses paid them to show up.

  46. Lyn says:

The photo in the middle with the lone protester and poorly crafted posterboard – what gender is it? I feel sorry for it regardless. Hope it loses some weight and starts associating with a better class of people.

The bottom photo with the girl on the left and her “…pissing off my delusional grandparents…” poster – she’s cute and obviously has some daddy issues going on.

  47. David Shumaker says:

I was quite embarrassed when, as a full-grown adult with a family and responsibilities, I had to recall my liberal college days and how ignorant and stupid I was THEN. But I was fortunate enough to return to first principles (which helped jive with the religious principles with which I was inculcated), and enjoy being Right and Correct for awhile. These moronic youngsters with the silly signs may have to revisit their foolishness while sitting around in a gulag if we cannot reverse the Curse that is OBAMA… and will mutter “We ‘adn’t orter trusted the buggers!” If you’re well read, you’ll understand the reference. BTW I am sick of having math problems to do when I post here LOL — no one said there’d be a QUIZ!
