The More Things Change…

…the more they stay the same. Maybe the only real difference between the early 21st and late 18th centuries is that the good guys no longer control the government:

The good news is that so long as Henry Waxman is nervous, we still have some freedom to work with.

uh, Henry…you SHOULD start to worry….
Who said “Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God”? Pat yourself on the back if you answered “Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin.” They proposed placing the motto on the Great Seal of the United States. Pat yourself even harder if you knew that the phrase was created by John Bradshaw (1602–1659), the lawyer who served as President of the Parliamentary Commission which sentenced British King Charles I to death.

  4. Clingtomyguns says:

It makes us nervous that gun grabbers like Nostrils Waxman are even in office, instead of serving jail time for treason and graft. It also makes us sad for the future of our country.

Why is it that liberals are nervous about honest citizens owning guns? Because it presents the biggest impediment to their unrestrained tyranny. Men of honor and courage who have nothing in common with Nostrils would have thought the same:

“Though defensive violence will always be ‘a sad necessity’ in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men.”
    – St. Augustine

“Without doubt one is allowed to resist against the unjust aggressor to one’s life, one’s goods or one’s physical integrity; sometimes, even ’til the aggressor’s death…. In fact, this act is aimed at preserving one’s life or one’s goods and to make the aggressor powerless. Thus, it is a good act, which is the right of the victim.”
    – Thomas Aquinas

“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”
    – George Washington

“The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”
    – Thomas Jefferson (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria)

“I ask sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few politicians.”
    – George Mason (father of the Bill of Rights and The Virginia Declaration of Rights)

Isnt this Wack,Wacy, Waxman the same nut who was whinning so much about THEATER POPCORN? I think he had better go see the head shrink before he loses it and they need phasers set on heavy stun to handle him

Obama Wants To Limit Retirement Accounts

Complaining that “some wealthy individuals are able to accumulate many millions of dollars in these accounts,” the Obama administration announced a plan to cap the total sum of any individual’s retirement accounts at $3 million. Stashing cash beyond that point, the administration insists, builds sums “substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving.” The administration’s argument seems to be based on the use of the word “million,” implying that only nasty rich people would want to accumulate such a hoard .

  12. Dr. 9 says:

Yes, rep, Henry Pigsnout from Mexifornia doesn’t want the peons to be armed. He believes it’s so much easier to manipulate them when they’re unarmed and defenseless. He would look a lot better hanging from a lamp post in front of the capital building.

Someone please get waxman a appointment with a psyco ward and get a few loose screws tightened

  14. SNuss says:

No wonder that there is an ammunition shortage, given the idiotic comments on guns being made by supposedly responsible legislators. They are the greatest salespeople FOR buying more guns and ammo, before the bans begin nationwide.

  15. Bully says:

That a swinefaced little lout, representing a few thousand people in an obscure corner of the US, has any say over my life makes me VERY nervous.

Those who suggest Henry Waxman looks like a pig, IMHO, have it all wrong. The guy is a rodent.

I used to wonder what they were referring to when I would see “varmint” guns or “varmint” rounds.

    Henry Waxman is a varmint.

  18. grayjohn says:

Spam alert. Henry, only someone as ugly, evil, and stupid as you would confuse righteous anger with fear. No one is afraid of you or your mutant face.
