When Theater Shootings Are No Big Deal

The way the media branch of the government salivates over shootings, you would think another theater shooting not long after Aurora would be big news, especially if it offered the added excitement of beginning in a nearby restaurant before moving into the theater. Yet we never heard much about last month’s Mayan Palace 14 shootings in San Antonio, in which two innocents were wounded.

Detective Louis Antu, spokesman for the Bexar County Sherriff’s Office, said the shooting began at a nearby China Garden and “carried on into the theater.”

At one point, the suspect fired at a San Antonio Police Department patrol car, Antu said.

Why no headlines? Here’s why:

After the suspect reached the theater, an off duty Bexar County Sheriff officer who was working at the theater shot at him and possibly struck him, Antu said.

“She took all appropriate action to keep everyone safe in the movie theater,” Antu said.

Too bad it wasn’t only the bad guy who had a gun at Aurora and Sandy Hook.

Tragedy averted.

On a tip from DaddyOD.

    Speaking of guns..

Got no coverage because it won’t further their agenda.

The left are Pharisees. They are drunk with power right now, but they too shall have their reward.

(I find it humorous, in a dark way, that the ones who shall bring about the most death and misery are currently the ones tearfully talking about how they want to make the world safe for everyone. “Hey progs, the Warsaw ghetto was a gun-free zone.”)

Well, now, you can’t have a newsworthy mass shooting unless the guy gets to kill a bunch of people, now can you?

Bingo! Houston, we found someone who knows something. Too bad you are far and few in between

You seldom hear about ANYONE using a gun to thwart a crime or assault by simply displaying/brandishing it…
seems criminals aren’t ALL that dumb.

We didn’t hear about it because it doesn’t serve the agenda of the Left.

This is all a huge waste of time and breath. There is no way known to man to change the mind and/or opinions of a Leftist using fact, logic, commonsense, and rational thought. The only way to deal with them is to take the gloves off.

“If it bleeds it leads” is only relevant if it “leads to the liberal agenda”

Here in Texas, movie theaters are “gun free” zones, having the statute 30.06 (no joke) posted at the front door. All sports fields, assembly areas, schools, colleges, GUN SHOWS, etc, posted with the same. The responsible citizens who carry number some 400,000, but can’t there because, well, they’re law abiding. The scum know this, and that’s why it still happens, even in Texas. They were lucky in this case. The cops in Texas bleated about “blood in the streets”, and Wild West Shootouts when CCW came up in the 90’s and the bitch governor lost partly because Bush promised to sign CCW if it came to his desk, and it did. Old, fat stupid liberal bitch is dead now. But all the stupid got attached to the bill because of the weak kneed Repubs in the Texas Legislature caved to Dem. demands that “the chillun” be spared the horror of their own responsible parents walking around schools with their CCW on them, committing no atrocities, and in effect, providing real security to the scene. Some schools have paid police, armed, in them, like mine. Most do not. When the morons finally, if ever, learn that deadly force stops unlawful deadly force, quickly, they’ll do it after another or 20 tragedies. Stupid dies hard, even in Texas, where it’s liable to get the shit kicked out of it.
