Gorilla Killed to Save Black Child, Moonbats Scream Racism

Regarding the 4-year-old who fell into a gorilla enclosure and was nearly killed as the gorilla dragged him around at high speed, before authorities finally shot the beast, could anything be more twisted than people wishing the parents had been shot instead of the animal? No. But this moonbattery comes close:

The kid in question, like his parents, is black:

Gary Johnson Says He Mostly Agrees With Bernie Sanders

You would think a communist and a libertarian would be diametric opposites. But not in 2016, the year party politics went completely off the rails during the race to nominate the worst possible candidate:

Gov. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate for president, said that he agrees with 73 percent of what Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) says, citing that libertarians agree with socialism as long as it’s voluntary.

You read that correctly. An actual quote from Gary Johnson, Libertarian nominee for POTUS:

“And look, libertarians agree with socialism as long as it’s voluntary.”

Similarly, cats don’t mind getting wet, so long as it’s a dry wetness.

In the unlikely event that there are any readers out there as clueless as Gary Johnson, I’ll point out that socialism is by definition not voluntary. Money is appropriated from some and given to others. If the money were given voluntarily, it would be charity, not socialism. You wouldn’t need government to impose it.

Unacceptable even as a protest vote.

People Side With Gorilla Against Parents of Child It Nearly Killed

A 4-year-old falls into a gorilla enclosure. Zoo officials shoot the gorilla because the child’s life was in danger. Where do you suppose public sympathy lies? Not with the terrified parents:

[Parents] Michelle Gregg, 32, and Deonne Dickerson, 37, have been blasted by those angry at the endangered animal’s tragic death.

One Twitter user wrote: “How about blaming the f*****g numb-nut parents. Shoot them not the Gorilla.”

“I’m pro animals. Take better care of your 3yr old F*****G KID you lazy son of a b***h. Shoot the parents first then the gorilla. Rant over,” wrote on furious tweeter.

Another said: “Feel for the gorilla. Didn’t deserve to get shot. Shoot the s****y mum instead.”

Several minor celebrities have weighed in on Twitter with similar sentiments. Former VH1 VeeJay John Fugelsang is now a cable news commentator:

Joseph Kahn is an obscure film director:

Maybe these nasty comments will help them gain some much needed publicity as they morally preen, smugly superior in their belief that an animal’s life counts for more than a human’s.

Gregg and Dickerson are facing neglect charges over the incident. If they are found guilty, let’s hope it is fairly, and not because they were railroaded to avenge a savage beast.

Why they shot the gorilla.

Major Endorsement for Trump’s Foreign Policy

Many say Trump is without the first clue regarding foreign policy. But he does have his supporters:

A North Korean editorial on Tuesday said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump can bring about North Korea’s “Yankee Go Home” slogan and ultimately help unify the Korean Peninsula.

The article published in state media outlet DPRK Today also referred to Trump’s proposal to hold direct talks with Kim Jong Un, praising the likely Republican nominee as a “wise politician” and “far-sighted presidential candidate.”

“In my personal opinion, there are many positive aspects to the Trump’s ‘inflammatory policies’,” wrote Han Yong Mook, who introduced himself as a Chinese North Korean scholar.

“Trump said ‘he will not get involved in the war between the South and the North,’ isn’t this fortunate from North Koreans’ perspective?”

Referring to the Trump’s speech in March to potentially withdraw the U.S. military forces from Seoul if it does not pay more for its defense costs, the North Korean editorial welcomed the policy with open arms.

“Yes do it, now … Who knew that the slogan ‘Yankee Go Home’ would come true like this? The day when the ‘Yankee Go Home’ slogan becomes real would be the day of Korean Unification.”

By “day of Korean Unification,” he means the day the communist regime in the north destroys South Korea and enslaves its inhabitants.

The article even urged Seoul not to pay its defense costs so that U.S. Forces would eventually withdraw from South Korea in the future, and urged American voters not to choose “dull” Hillary Clinton.

At least we can all agree that putting an irresponsible, uninformed, unstable, megalomaniacal screwball in charge of foreign policy would be anything but dull.

Latest Gift of Multicultural Open Borders Policy: Cutaneous Leishmaniasis

The torrent of so-called “refugees” into Western welfare states from the Middle East and Africa may not contribute much economically or in terms of social cohesion, but it does enrich the vibrant multicultural tapestry by introducing exotic aspects of the world the immigrants are not so much leaving behind as bringing along. Among them is cutaneous leishmaniasis:

A disfiguring tropical disease is sweeping across the Middle East as a combination of heavy conflict and a breakdown of health care facilities in Isis-occupied areas leaves swathes of people vulnerable to the illness.

Cutaneous leishmaniasis is caused by a parasite in the blood stream transmitted through sand fly bites. The disease can result in horrible open sores as well as disfiguring skin lesions, nodules or papules.

Leishmaniasis has been endemic in Syria for centuries and was once commonly known as the “Aleppo evil”. However, as Syria’s civil war continues the resulting refugee crisis has triggered a catastrophic outbreak of the disease.

Research published on Thursday in the scientific journal PLOS has found the disease is now affecting hundreds of thousands of people living in refugee camps or trapped in conflict zones. A similar situation may also be unfolding in eastern Libya and Yemen.

“We’re seeing lots of diseases, including leishmaniasis in these conflict zones and we need to ring-fence them or risk another situation like Ebola out of the conflict zones in West Africa in 2014,” Peter Hotez, dean of the US National School of Tropical Medicine, US Science Envoy to the Middle East, and lead author of the PLOS research told the Digital Journal.

But ring-fencing the horrors spreading out from the Islamic world is not on the progressive agenda.

Dr Waleed Al-Salem, of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, told MailOnline: “It’s a very bad situation. The disease has spread dramatically in Syria, but also into countries like Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey and even into southern Europe with refugees coming in.”

Although the disease is spread mainly by sand fly bites, it can be passed on through contaminated needles, blood transfusions, and congenitally.

Cutaneous leishmaniasis: the spread of exotic diseases is afoot in Europe.

Secret Service Defends Bernie Sanders From Animal Rights Nuts

How wacky are animal rights militants? Bernie Sanders isn’t enough of a moonbat for them:

The Secret Services jumped on to the stage at a Bernie Sanders rally and protected the Democrat from a gaggle of animal rights protesters who jumped barricades and rushed the podium in Oakland, CA.

Agents tackled the protesters to the concrete and ushered them away in handcuffs as the throng of Bernie supporters booed and then began chanting. It was unclear whether the crowd was jeering at the protesters for disrupting the rally or at the Secret Service for tackling and arresting the protesters.

Here is what the kooks have against the communist presidential aspirant:

Zach Groff of the grassroots group Direct Action Everywhere told ABC News that they have been targeting Sanders because of his message about caring for the most vulnerable.

“His campaign has promoted itself based on this idea of progressivism and rejecting discrimination and inequality,” Groff said, “but when it comes to the animals in the United States and around the world, discrimination and violence is the name of the game every single day.”

“He claims to be a progressive, but you cannot be a progressive if you oppose animal rights,” he said.

Apparently Sanders opposes animal rights by not advocating the choking off of our food supply:

In a statement, another one of the Berkeley-based group’s organizers, Aidan Cook, said that “Sanders claims to oppose ‘factory farming,’ but what he hides is that virtually all farms in the United States, including farms he supports, are essentially factory farms.”

What exactly do these people want?

The group is seeking an endorsement of full “personhood” for all animals and has previously disrupted Sanders’ events.

Calling for full legal rights for dogs, cats, chickens, cockroaches, et cetera follows naturally from liberal logic. The next step will be a demand that wealth be redistributed so that no living organism has a higher standard of living than any other. Sanders will be on board with that one, so long as exceptions are made for those doing the redistributing.

Garrote Tightens Around the Neck of Free Speech

We can gauge how fast liberty is dying by how aggressively freedom of expression is attacked. It doesn’t have to be the government that does the attacking:

U.S. Internet giants Facebook Inc., Twitter Inc., Google and Microsoft Corp. pledged to tackle online hate speech in less than 24 hours as part of a joint commitment with the European Union to combat the use of social media by terrorists.

Beyond national laws that criminalize hate speech, there is a need to ensure such activity by Internet users is “expeditiously reviewed by online intermediaries and social media platforms, upon receipt of a valid notification, in an appropriate time-frame,” the companies and the European Commission said in a joint statement on Tuesday.

The measures are ostensibly intended to target Muslim extremists. But “hate speech” is whatever the progressives in charge say it is.

Meanwhile, Glenn Beck has been suspended from SiriusXM radio over a conversation he had with author Brad Thor about what might happen if Trump takes power and imposes dictatorship and national catastrophe on the level of Lenin and Hitler, as Trump’s character and mental state make conceivable. This one is less black and white than most. Thor stands accused of calling for assassination. But the conversation was hypothetical, referring to a situation that might exist at some point in the future.

Freedom of expression ought to be defended most energetically in academia. Instead, we read that sociology professor Ada Cheng has resigned in protest from DePaul University because a speaker she doesn’t like was allowed to be heard there, despite efforts to shut him down. Cheng denounces “so-called free speech” as “delusional.”

Direct involvement by the government was not required to chill free speech in any of these cases. But as we come to accept being gagged, involvement by government will follow.

Liberty is as delicate as it is precious. If it is not defended, it will not survive.

The words of Ronald Reagan ring truer than ever:

Trump Rallies Mob Against Judge in His Fraud Trial

One drawback of working as a professional charlatan is that you will tend to get sued for fraud. But by extending your con into politics, you can gain the power to defend yourself from not only plaintiffs but judges:

In one of his most personal attacks against an apolitical figure since becoming the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump delivered an extended tirade about the federal judge overseeing the civil litigation against his defunct education program.

Mr. Trump’s attack on U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel was extraordinary not just in its scope and intensity but for its location: Before a crowd packed into a convention center [in San Diego] …

“I have a judge who is a hater of Donald Trump, a hater. He’s a hater. His name is Gonzalo Curiel,” Mr. Trump said, as the crowd of several thousand booed. “He is not doing the right thing. And I figure, what the hell? Why not talk about it for two minutes?”

Mr. Trump spoke for far more than two minutes about Judge Curiel and the Trump University case–he devoted 12 minutes of a 58-minute address to the litigation, which is scheduled to go to trial in San Diego federal court Nov. 28. …

The plaintiffs in the Trump University case, whom Mr. Trump also condemned by name Friday, accuse him and the now-defunct school of defrauding people who paid up to $35,000 for real estate advice.

Trump demanded that Curiel recuse himself for being “hostile.”

Mr. Trump also told the audience, which had previously chanted the Republican standard-bearer’s signature “build that wall” mantra in reference to Mr. Trump’s proposed wall along the Mexican border, that Judge Curiel is “Mexican.” …

Judge Curiel was born in Indiana.

Attempting to intimidate the judge in your fraud trial is not usually regarded as a mark of high character. But ever fewer people seem to care.

If this goon gets into the White House, Americans will come to know what the term “abuse of power” means as we never did before.

Imagine if he had real power…

DePaul University President Compares Thugs Who Shut Down Speech to Heroes of D-Day

When Milo Yiannopoulos tried to speak at DePaul University,

Black Lives Matter activists hijacked the event just a few minutes in and turned it into a screaming match, while gatherings outside nearly turned into a full-blown riot.

One thug even snatched away the microphone from the conference moderator.

University President Dennis Holtschneider responded last Wednesday with the moral relativism we have come to expect, chastising both the speaker and those who would not let him speak. Less than a week before Memorial Day, here is how he saw fit to express himself:

“I am writing from France, where Fr. [Edward] Udovic and I are leading a mission trip to introduce our trustees to the life and legacy of St. Vincent de Paul,” Holtschneider says to open his message. “Because today is a free day, a number of us are spending the day in Normandy, touring the museum, walking the famous beaches of the D-Day landings and standing silent before the rows and rows of graves honoring the men and women who gave their lives so others might live in freedom.”

First he denounces Yiannopoulos for being “unworthy of university discourse.” Then he mildly wags a finger at the BLM goons. Then he writes this:

“Here in Normandy, I expected to be moved by the generosity of those who gave their lives on the beaches early on June 6, 1944,” he writes. “I did not expect, however, to be shocked when I realized that most of the soldiers were the same ages as our students today. The rows on rows of white crosses in the American cemetery speak to the selflessness of the human spirit at early adulthood to lay down their lives for a better world. I realize that many of yesterday’s protesters hold similarly noble goals for a more inclusive world for those traditionally held aside by our society.”

That is, he compared BLM thugs who shut down a speech lest someone be allowed to express a microaggression to the heroes who charged straight into death on behalf of freedom — not on behalf of “a more inclusive world,” which is a euphemism for political correctness. Yiannopoulos is admittedly creepy even by alt-right standards, but free speech means free speech for everyone. It is prominent among the fundamental liberties the 2,499 Americans who died on D-Day sacrificed their lives for.
To compare them with BLM is obscene.

Reagan’s 1986 Memorial Day Speech

Illegal Alien Steals Deceased Vet’s Identity

A little something to get the blood boiling on Memorial Day:

A 69-year-old illegal immigrant living in Phoenix, Ariz. has been busted for assuming the identity of a deceased veteran to get health and social security benefits over the last four years.

The value of those benefits was nearly $30,000.

According to ABC 15, Rene Ortiz Quintana assumed the identity of Ruben Gallardo, who has been dead since 1994.

Quintana, who has been in the U.S. for 50 years or so, was able to get an Arizona ID, a state health card and a VA choice card. The exact total of benefits doled out was $29,062.19.

Quintana will likely spend the next few years in prison, where he can continue to sponge off American taxpayers.

Louisiana State Rep Denounces Declaration of Independence

The Founding Fathers knew that the greatest enemies of the nation they bestowed on us would be those elected to run the government they set up; that’s why they set it up the way they did. Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence, saw people like Barbara Norton coming 2 centuries down the road:

A Louisiana lawmaker argued against a bill requiring public school students to recite excerpts from the Declaration of Independence because ‘only Caucasians were free’ at the time it was penned.

While the Declaration of Independence states ‘all men are created equal’, it took nearly a century later before the 15th amendment allowed men regardless of ‘race, color, or previous condition of servitude’ to vote.

Barbara Norton said it was ‘unfair’ to require children to recite the founding document, given it was written when slavery was still widespread.

Norton must be very pleased with herself. The bill was shelved.

According to the Advocate, the bill would have required students between the fourth and sixth grades to recite the passage: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…

‘That they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

‘That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.’

In the realm of politics and government, these are the most important words ever written. But they must be forgotten, because racism.

No doubt they will be replaced by something along the lines of “Four legs good, two legs bad,” in keeping with the tenor of today’s political discourse.

Barbara Norton managed to get the Declaration of Independence shelved.

Hillary’s First Act as President

Only the Devil knows what Trump would do first as president. Cover the White House in gold foil? Begin construction on a 100-story bust of himself? Nuke London because the mayor doesn’t like him? Shrillary would be more predictable. If the Justice Department hands down an indictment after she is elected, her first act in office will be to pardon herself for influence peddling and mishandling classified information:

The president’s pardon power comes from Article II, Section 2 of the United States Constitution that provides, “The President … shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.”

Oh good, Congress could impeach her; then she couldn’t pardon herself. Except:

The House of Representatives, as far back as 1873, has determined that a person cannot be impeached based on conduct prior to them holding office. In other words, House precedent says a President Hillary Clinton could not be impeached as president for crimes related to the e-mail server or the Clinton Foundation.

The best hope would be to impeach her not for her crimes but for pardoning herself, as that would arguably constitute an abuse of power. But getting two-thirds of the Senate to go along would be a challenge.

In her first State of the Union, she might quote a fellow Chicago leftist, the unrepentant communist terrorist Bill Ayers: “Guilty as hell. Free as a bird. America is a great country.”

Why she wants to be President.
