5-Year-Old Suspended for Making Terrorist Threats With Bubble Gun

No sniggering please; hoplophobia is a serious mental illness — as this story attests:

A pink Hello Kitty bubble gun is the reason a five-year-old girl was suspended from kindergarten at Mount Carmel [Pennsylvania] Area Elementary School. Her family’s attorney says she was at her school bus stop last week when she told a classmate she was going to shoot her and herself with the bubble gun, a gun she did not have with her. …

According to the family’s lawyer, district officials at Mount Carmel Area Elementary School questioned her for three hours without her parent’s knowledge. She was suspended for 10 days for making terroristic threats.

Terroristic threats. As mentioned above, the kid is five years old.

The Hello Kitty bubble gun is considered a toy. When you pull the trigger, it shoots out bubbles.

It’s not as if our moonbat rulers can’t show mercy:

The family’s lawyer says a psychologist examined the girl and said she was not a danger to others, so district officials reduced the suspension from 10 days to four days.

While libs fly into hysterical panic over Hello Kitty bubble guns, the rest of us have a better reason to tremble with fear: these kooks run our schools, media, and government.

Tool of terror.

Speaking of terrorists… Since the Second Coming of the One is now complete, as his “swearing” in ceremony entails pledging “to protect and defend the Constitution of The United States” Can’t he be charged with perjury?

  2. Tess says:

Ha! This is basically a blow dryer that ‘shoots’ air. Time to lock up the hair dryers! Lefty lunacy never ends!

  3. justme says:

BAN HAIRDRYERS! If just one innocent is spared… take away everyone’s right to blow dry!

  4. Scar says:

These should be limited to 10 bubbles per . . . pull? . . . em, magazine? . . . uh, reload? We need a government study! Now! I’ll do the study for only 10 million!

  5. Louisiana Steve says:

Not to mention that the bubbly solution might contain carinogens already banned by the EPA. Sort of a chemical welfare thing huh? This kid’s in real trouble now.

Hey, progs! Look! Another “assault weapon”!

Hey, this is serious! Today it’s a Hello Kitty bubble gun….tomorrow she’ll be flying jetliners into skyscrapers.

Well according to these moonbats the second amendment with it’s “well regulated militia” means nothing more than the government’s authority to DISARM it’s soldiers after the battle
I’ve had the pleasure of living in the one place in the world where it is positively required to carry a weapon on your person at all times – an Army FOB in Iraq… On the FOB, we were required to carry our weapons as described above at ALL TIMES. Also, weapons on the FOB were unloaded. You kept a magazine on your person ready to insert, lock and load as needed but unless you were on perimeter patrol or tower watch you did not have a loaded weapon on the FOB. Why? Because negligent discharges happen, and people get hurt or killed.
When leaving the FOB on a mission everyone would “go red,” which means we would insert magazines, lock and load a round into the chamber of our weapons. When we returned from missions, immediately inside the FOB there were clearing barrels, basically 40 gallon oil drums half filled with sand, and with a circular opening cut into the top.
We would dismount our vehicles., walk to a clearing barrel under the supervision of another soldier, drop our mags, eject the round from the chamber, and lock the bolt back so the weapon could be verified as “clear.” Then, and only then, could we proceed into the FOB which was filled with unarmored people.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is what a “well regulated militia” does.

It is a good thing she didn’t have one of these. She probably be in a super max prison by now.

  12. Alphamail says:

In the link: It’s ironic a liberal columnist would decry “negligent discharges” when liberals count on tax dollars to support Planned Parenthood’s battle against them.

Also, I don’t see a problem with the pink weapon in the picture, but the oversized magazine underneath may raise some eyebrows.

Another “bitter clinger” holding on to her cookies and high capacity bubble gun. The founders had no intention for Americans to have ANY assault type bubble gun that could shoot more than 7 bubbles. You dont need a 10000 bubble gun to shoot a deer! Sombody get Andy Coumo and OBambi to DO SOMETHING!!!!!

Interesting story, Ghost. I’ve got a different take. I’ve carried for personal defense for several years. I prefer not to chamber a round, but carry a firearm with a fully loaded magazine in it. Yes, I know racking the action is another step, but grandchildren aren’t strong enough (yet) to rack the action, therefore I don’t need to worry much about them chambering a round.

Negligent discharges don’t happen unless someone has their buggerpicker on the trigger.

  15. Sam Adams says:

BTW, we don’t want to condition our five year old girls with those dangerous “Hello Kitty” guns. Why they might mistake them for those fire-blasting weapons they show on movies and TV shows every day.

  16. Smorfia48 says:

    “pink Hello Kitty bubble”

That has to be the least menacing trio of properties any object can possibly possess.

  17. hiram says:

I have no illusions about where this thing was made… apparently, the Chinese have no problem giving their kids toy guns.

In 15-20 years, it’s THEIR kids who will have been playing ‘Cowboys and Tibetan Monks’ all their lives, and ours who will shriek in sissified terror at the thought (much less sight) of a firearm. Except in movies, where it’s ok. BTW, HAN SHOT FIRST, DAMMIT!

  18. Alphamail says:

IMHO – Anyone not in law enforcement should never have one chambered. I certainly don’t – even with my CC and a super-safe Glock. Just too big a chance when you can have one chambered nearly as fast as it takes to assume a firing position. Especially around kids – the constant disadvantage of one little mistake outweighs the 1/2 second you might save in a once-in-a-lifetime situation.

Here BTW is an actual threat posed by one of our liberal elected officials:

According to our state law, if two actions are required to fire a gun, the gun is legally unloaded. For example, if there is an empty chamber in your revolver, so that two trigger pulls are required to fire the gun, then the gun is legally unloaded.

I know if the bad guys wing me so that I have to rack the action with my teeth, I’m going to be at a bit of a disadvantage. Nevertheless, most of the time, I think I can rack the action as I bring a gun up to a firing position.

BTW, do you have to carry that Hello Kitty gun without any bubble solution? I’ve also heard that different colors of solution produce different amounts of bubbles. Bet the 5 year old perp had that deadly “pink” solution.

It’s not a big deal ya know, a few years in the re-education camp and that little girl will be sane again.
Sometimes we gotta make compromises for public safety.

  22. Ummah Gummah says:

Oh yeah, gotta make sure we condition our young to despise guns, even including five-year-old girls so that when one day they are accosted by moslems claiming part of the Nation as a ‘moslem area’ they won’t be able to fight back.

Wouldn’t want Americans fighting back against moslems on our own soil, now would we, OBAMA?!!

Read it and get mad. As mad as I am right now.

And to think that we spent money and blood to save the UK from the Germans, only to have them turn into France. I’m suspecting that many Brits will rue the day that they gave up their firearms, when confronted by the Mooselimb hoards.

Oh, BTW, we should note that the Hello Kitty gun features a PISTOL GRIP!!!. For that reason alone, it should be banned.

  25. Ummah Gummah says:

    @Sam Adams

It is to be hoped that enough of them are far-sighed enough to keep a few arms safely stashed away. For the time will come.. maybe the French are doing us all a favor by forcing the issue in Mali.

If anything goes down in Paris in response, I could imagine things might get ugly in France.

Many of them are seething with anger over what has been allowed to happen to their country and who knows what a jihadist attack on them might trigger in response..

  26. Sam Adams says:

At the beginning of WWII, France had a larger standing army than Germany. They actually invaded Germany a couple of miles and then shouted “that will show you.” They then returned home.

Of course, they, and the UK had an alliance with Poland. We see how both rushed to the aid of the beleaguered Poles.

Maybe this new generation is up to the fight. They might need to be.

As a retired senior high tacher I can testify that educrats and elementary school teachers are collectively as dumb as box of rocks. The ent5ire educational establishment punish only the meek & the timid while cower before the disrupters, drug dealers, the depraved, gangbangers, & the hoodlums.
Nearly the entire educational establishment are not only mental midgets but cowards that love to play tyrant and carry out gestapo style interrogations of those that can bully.
Hitler recruited an over representative sections of nazi monsters from the ranks of teacher, educrats, & wackodemia.
