Harvard Will Award Colin Kaepernick a Medal

If an athlete wants fame and accolades in a society dominated by progressives, the way to get them is not on the field but on the sidelines. Consider the example set by Colin Kaepernick. He was an obscure benchwarmer when he began indulging in theatrical displays of disrespect in response to the national anthem, undermining a precious ritual the helps hold the country together in divisive times. Consequently, Nike is plastering his homely face all over the place, together with propaganda spinning the lowlife as a hero. For openly despising his country and siding with criminals against the police, GQ named him Citizen of the Year. Harvard, the nation’s most prestigious university, has even awarded Kaepernick a medal, like the war heroes he spits on by refusing to respect the flag receive. Kaepernick…

…will receive the W.E.B. Du Bois Medal at the Hutchins Center Honors in Cambridge on Oct. 11. It’s described as “Harvard’s highest honor in the field of African and African American studies.”

Whether Kaepernick can even read is probably irrelevant regarding his scholarly contribution to the vital field of African and African American studies.

Fittingly, W.E.B. Du Bois was a member of the Communist Party USA who called the USSR slave state “the most hopeful vehicle for the world.” To revere him is to despise freedom and everything else America stands for.

A press release from Harvard recognized Kaepernick’s $1 million donation to charities serving oppressed communities.

Among the charities upon which Kaepernick bestows his benevolence is Assata’s Daughters, to which his foundation has given at least $25,000. It is named in honor of Joanne Chesimard (a.k.a. Assata Shakur), a communist black supremacist who has been hiding out in Cuba after murdering New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster and then escaping from prison.

Assata’s Daughters states that its mission is “the abolition of prisons, police and anti-blackness itself.” “Anti-blackness” can be defined as any opposition to the radical black supremacist ideology Colin Kaepernick emerged from obscurity by embracing.

Like nonprofits, “charities” are not necessarily benevolent.

You won’t see Harvard grant posthumous awards to a football player who really is a hero, like Pat Tillman, who gave up a lucrative NFL contract to fight for his country in Afghanistan, where he was killed. When it comes to the military, Harvard named Bradley Manning a “visiting fellow” in honor of his having committed 750,000 acts of treason in the largest intelligence leak in US history (although outrage forced Harvard to back down in the face of calls to cut off federal funding).

The more contemptible and pernicious the scoundrel, the more likely he is to be honored in the upside-down, morally depraved realm of the liberal elite. A culture so twisted as to reject heroes elevates antiheroes instead.

Mike Rowe Presents a Real Hero, and It Isn’t Colin Kaepernick

Countermoonbat television host Mike Rowe might agree that today is the perfect day to throw out anything you own that is marred by a Nike swoosh. Here’s what he has to say about Nike choosing Colin Kaepernick as the face of the company and excreting ads that grotesquely depict him as a courageous hero:

[If] I was going to put someone’s face on a billboard – someone who epitomized bravery and sacrifice – I might have gone another way, especially this time of year. I might have gone with this guy – Tom Burnett.

Tom’s last act on earth was one of the most courageous things imaginable. And his last words to his wife, Deena, are among the most inspiring I’ve ever heard. … They were spoken seventeen years ago, under conditions I hope to never experience. I’ll never forget Tom’s last words. I hope you won’t either.

Those last words that he spoke on the phone to his wife from Flight 93 were, “We’re going to do something.”

That they did; they took over the plane and crashed it into a Pennsylvania field so that Muslims couldn’t use it to destroy the Capitol or White House.

Displacing real heroes like Tom Burnett with garbage like Colin Kaepernick is doing to our culture what terrorism did to the World Trade Center.

Black Police Union Sides with Colin Kaepernick

Police associations understandably did not appreciate it when Nike tried to present itself as radical chic by making Colin Kaepernick the public face of their company. After all, Kaepernick’s main claim to fame is his public hatred of America in general but specifically of the police. This is a guy who, when he was a football player, wore to practice socks decorated with pigs in police hats. Hostility to law enforcement on the grounds that it must be racist since it arrests black criminals is at the root of his anti-civilization Black Lives Matter ideology.

The National Fraternal Order of Police has publicly acknowledged that Nike’s Kaepernick ads are an insult to police officers. The National Association of Police Organizations joined many other patriotic Americans in sensibly calling for a boycott of Nike products. But there is a police association that feels differently:

Sonia Y.W. Pruitt, the national chairperson of the National Black Police Association and a police lieutenant in Maryland, was watching the drama unfold this week and said she was upset by the reactions of the other police organizations. …

So on Wednesday she wrote a letter on behalf of her organization that served as a stirring defense of Kaepernick and sharp rebuke to the harsh words issued by the other police organizations.

“Stirring” in that it stirred the enthusiasm of the Cultural Marxists who run the “mainstream” media.

On behalf of the NBPA, Pruitt officially denounces the NAPO as racist for not agreeing that the militant black supremacist Colin Kaepernick is a suitable role model.

The NBPA is based in Dallas, where in 2016 the ideology personified by Kaepernick led to the assassination of five police officers. It is said to be the second largest black police organization.

We saw the corruption that poisoned the Fort Worth Police Department when high-ranking black officers placed black supremacist ideology before loyalty to law enforcement and to their fellow cops (see here and here). Now we know that this mentality is nationwide and goes to the top. This is an alarming development.

Consider the implications of police who explicitly regard themselves as proponents of a racist ideology rather than impartial enforcers of the law. No one with the possible exception of liberal journalists wants to live in a country like that.

Nike Stepped on Rake with Colin Kaepernick Campaign

The Washington Post crowed with delight when Nike chose as the face of the company Colin Kaepernick, who is known far more for his radical left politics and flamboyant hatred of the USA than for his former athletic skills. We were told this was a wise move due to America’s demographic transformation. According to a new report from Morning Consult, someone has miscalculated. Among the key findings:

Nike’s Favorability Drops by Double Digits: Before the announcement, Nike had a net +69 favorable impression among consumers, it has now declined 34 points to +35 favorable.

No Boost Among Key Demos: Among younger generations, Nike users, African Americans, and other key demographics, Nike’s favorability declined rather than improved.

Purchasing Consideration Also Down: Before the announcement, 49 percent of Americans said they were absolutely certain or very likely to buy Nike products. That figure is down to 39 percent now.

The report features graphs indicating that Nike has lost ground even among groups it is trying to pander to, such as Democrats, Millennials, and blacks.

With luck, Nike shooting itself in the foot will put an end to the fad of corporations going out of their way to align themselves with far-left viewpoints.

You can see why progressives would want Kaepernick accepted as some sort of hero. Our shared reverence for what the flag and the national anthem represent holds us together as a nation. Destroy that reverence and you have destroyed America. That is the ultimate objective of Cultural Marxism.

Fortunately, people are made of better stuff than the liberal establishment would like to think.

Colin Kaepernick and Demographic Transformation

Don’t take my word for the effect demographic transformation via mass Third World immigration and the welfare state are having on American culture. Take it from the Washington Post, a major mouthpiece of the liberal establishment that brought about the transformation.

Most any regular American would agree that Colin Kaepernick is a cockroach, and that Nike making this washed-up former athlete the face of their product explicitly because of his theatrical disrespect for America is beyond reprehensible; it is unforgivable. But WaPo crows that “Nike Knows the Future Looks Something Like Colin Kaepernick”:

If the campaign is important, it’s not as an act of corporate conscience, but rather as a reflection of coming American demographics, which Nike is always so good at identifying and signifying. …

Millennials, those Americans between the ages of 22 and 37, are projected to surpass baby boomers as the nation’s largest living adult generation in 2019, and fully 44 percent of them are of some race other than white. For post-millennials, that number rises to 48 percent, and for post-post-millennials (American children under age 10), it grows to more than 50 percent.

We are told that it makes sense economically to risk the intense hatred of older consumers, because largely nonwhite Millennials have no respect for the national anthem, America, veterans, police, or anything else that Kaepernick openly despises. They see him as sticking it to the white man by urinating on everything the white man loves and respects. That’s what Nike stands for now, and WaPo says it is a good business move.

Andrew McCaskill, senior vice president of global communications at Nielsen, puts these demographics in stark business terms. “If you don’t have a multicultural strategy, you don’t have a growth strategy,” he says.

Exploitation of the Kaepernick spectacle reveals that both Nike and the liberal establishment have a multicultural strategy.

Western Civilization is far and away the greatest achievement of the human race. Evidently, it will be turned over to people who find Colin Kaepernick appealing, so that they can flush it down the toilet in the name of what WaPo calls “racial justice.”

Sorry WaPo; the future looks nothing like Colin Kaepernick. But unless we cure ourselves of liberalism quickly, it won’t look American either. It will look Chinese. Nature abhors a vacuum.

Colin Kaepernick Becomes Face of Nike

Moonbat “virtue” signaling has been the big fad in corporate America lately, with each company trying to outflank the others on the Left with its public posturing. Now one has gone too far. Nike has declared war on its own country by making former football player and anti-American demagogue Colin Kaepernick the face of the company with a 10-year contract.

The contract is a “wide endorsement,” providing Kaepernick with “his own branded line including shoes, shirts, jerseys and more.”

A new ad features Kaepernick’s irritatingly self-important face in black and white and the words, “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.”

Like the ideology Kaepernick personifies, the ad is a lie. Kaepernick did not sacrifice anything. He was a washed-up, overpaid benchwarmer when he started up with his anti-American antics during the national anthem. His athletic career was ending when he opted out of his contract in 2017. Now he has switched to a lucrative new career as a professional racial arsonist and hater of America.

You can’t boycott every product of companies that strike left-wing poses. But after this, to wear anything featuring a Nike swoosh is to hawk up a clot of phlegm and spit it on Old Glory.

Imagine trying to look a legless vet in the eye after he sees Nikes on your feet.

#NikeBoycott is trending.

Colin Kaepernick Show Invited to Riker’s Island

A few people may be unaware that when Black Lives Matter types snarl that blacks are oppressed by racism, what they generally mean is that Criminals of Color are oppressed by the consequences of not following the law. Colin Kaepernick — the washed-up football player instrumental in wedding the NFL to this ideology — provided helpful enlightenment by actually taking his act to Rikers Island, a prison in New York City:

The former San Francisco 49ers star spoke to groups of inmates during two sessions Tuesday morning at the jail’s George Motchan Detention Center, where he pontificated on social justice issues and talked about his decision to kneel during the national anthem, which sparked nationwide outrage.

“That’s crazy to me to have a person like Colin Kaepernick in prison talking about police brutality,” said an officer who attended the event. “It was insulting for me to be there.”

Kaepernick used to wear socks that featured cartoon pigs in police hats on the field. He is as opposed to law & order as he is to America. Only in a city run by moonbats like Bill de Blasio would a rabble-rouser of this variety be invited into a prison to incite the inmates. According to their juvenile mentality, the police are the bad guys who make you eat meat and vegetables instead of ice cream for dinner.

The move drew the ire of corrections union officials, who said the cop-hating athlete’s visit will only serve to endanger their members by emboldening criminals who see themselves as victims of a corrupt criminal justice system.

A likely result is more violence against corrections officers, and more violence against the police when the vast majority of these criminals end up back out on the street.

Sports Illustrated Grants Award to Colin Kaepernick for Disrespecting National Anthem

Sports Illustrated has followed GQ down the rabbit hole of radical leftism by granting an award to the bitterly anti-American former football player who set in motion the ongoing collapse of the NFL, Colin Kaepernick:

The [washed-up, unsigned] quarterback has received the 2017 Sports Illustrated Muhammad Ali Legacy Award, an honor awarded annually to athletes who demonstrate “the ideals of sportsmanship, leadership and philanthropy” and who use “sports as a platform for changing the world.”

“There will never be another Ali, but few athletes have followed his example as fully as Colin Kaepernick,” said SI Executive Editor Stephen Cannella.

As disgusting as it is that a radical like Kaepernick is bestowed awards for injecting ultra-left politics into football, Cannella is correct. Kaepernick has followed Ali’s lead by delighting the leftist sports media with his race-based hatred of America.

Ali was a draft dodger during the Vietnam War. He explained why he refused to serve:

“My conscience won’t let me go shoot my brother, or some darker people, or some poor hungry people in the mud for big powerful America. And shoot them for what? They never called me nigger, they never lynched me, they didn’t put no dogs on me, they didn’t rob me of my nationality, rape and kill my mother and father…”

No one raped and killed his mother and father. Both died of heart failure at age 77.

Ali is not revered despite having been a skunk; he is revered because he was a skunk — just like Colin Kaepernick.

In bestowing the honor, Sports Illustrated praised Kaepernick’s “steadfastness in the fight for social justice” and his “adherence to his beliefs no matter the cost.”

Please. The has-been Kaepernick has said he would stand for the national anthem that he hates so much if only someone would sign him.

The article noted that both Ali and Kaepernick “sacrificed for the greater good at a time when many Americans could not see it was a greater good.”

If only we were as wise as obnoxious cretins like Ali and Kaepernick, and the still more detestable moonbats running Sports Illustrated, we would understand that noisily despising America serves the “greater good.”

If you have a Sports Illustrated subscription, you might want to cancel it for the sake of your self-respect.

Colin Kaepernick Celebrates Un-Thanksgiving

Having ruined the NFL for its fans by revealing many of the players as America-hating leftist thugs and the people running the league as either moonbats or pusillanimous weenies, Colin Kaepernick has moved on to other pursuits. While regular Americans devoted a day to gratitude yesterday, Kaepernick spent it wallowing in his characteristic theatrical bitterness:

Kaepernick received honorary eagle feathers as he attended the annual Indigenous People’s Sunrise Gathering on Alcatraz Island on Thursday.

The event, also known as “Un-Thanksgiving Day,” celebrates the lengthy occupation of the infamous prison island by Native Americans between 1969 and 1971.

That occupation was a farce, infiltrated by drug-addled hippies, splintered by power struggles, and ending when the federal government finally stopped wringing its hands and forcibly evacuated the last 15 occupiers — four of them children — from the island.

Kaepernick reminds us that it isn’t only black lives that matter. Indian lives matter too. The only lives that don’t matter are white lives, and even whites can make their lives matter by converting to Islam or indulging in sexual perversion. The ideology devised in academia and regurgitated by tools like Kaepernick is not about police brutality or dispossessed Indians. Cultural Marxism has one purpose: to destroy America by exploiting outlier groups to demonize the core population and delegitimize the culture.

Colin Kaepernick’s Worst Nightmare

A couple of years ago, 500 high school choir students sang the Star-Spangled Banner in the 18-story atrium of a Hyatt hotel in Louisville as part of the Kentucky Music Educators Convention. Any moonbats in the building probably ran out screaming into the night:

Good thing Louisville doesn’t have an NFL team. If there had been a visiting team in the building, some of the players would have had to put their helmets on to keep their skulls from exploding.

GQ Names Anti-American Colin Kaepernick “Citizen of the Year”

If a single moonbat is synonymous with anti-Americanism in the year 2017, it is Colin Kaepernick, the washed-up football player who managed to cripple the NFL by encouraging players to make belligerent pageants of their unpatriotic attitudes. Kaepernick has denounced the Land of Free for imposing “systematic oppression” and skulked off to Africa to demonstrate his contempt for the Fourth of July. The Colin Kaepernick Foundation is so extreme in its anti-Americanism that it donated $25,000 to Assata’s Daughters, a “resistance organization” honoring Assata Shakur, a communist cop-killer harbored by the hostile government of Cuba. So naturally he is granted awards by fellow leftists ever digging for a new low:

GQ magazine has named former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick its “Citizen of the Year” amid ongoing controversy surrounding players kneeling during the national anthem. …

The magazine compared Kaepernick’s protest to Muhammad Ali’s stand against the Vietnam War.

Muhammad Ali was drafted during the war and refused to serve on the grounds that he preferred communist Vietnam to America:

“My conscience won’t let me go shoot my brother, or some darker people, or some poor hungry people in the mud for big powerful America. And shoot them for what? They never called me nigger, they never lynched me, they didn’t put no dogs on me, they didn’t rob me of my nationality, rape and kill my mother and father…”

Ali also preferred making a fortune in sports to risking his life for his country. Absurdly yet predictably, liberals praised his courage — just as they would do if Kaepernick were drafted, since he would be certain to noisily side with the enemy and refuse to serve, just like “The Greatest” did.

Giving a citizenship award to Colin Kaepernick is the equivalent of giving a Bronze Star to Muhammad Ali, or a journalism award to GQ, home of Keith Olbermann.

Colin Kaepernick Foundation Donates $25,000 to Organization Devoted to Honoring Cop-Killer

Even some liberals don’t get the point of Black Lives Matter types in the NFL performing disrespectful gestures rather than behaving appropriately during the national anthem. To clarify where the players are coming from, let’s turn to Colin Kaepernick, who started the phenomenon:

The Colin Kaepernick Foundation donated in April $25,000 to Assata’s Daughters, a Chicago “direct action” resistance organization honoring Assata Shakur, who escaped prison and fled to Cuba after being found guilty in the 1973 murder of Officer Werner Foerster. …

Apparently Mr. Kaepernick is also a fan: He retweeted a July 16 message wishing Shakur a happy birthday.

He has also been shoveling money at

advocacy groups pushing a left-of-center agenda on issues like abortion, climate change, criminal-justice reform and immigration.

Kaepernick has probably had more influence on the culture of the NFL than any other player, even if this mediocrity is currently without a team. Who else could get owners like Jerry Jones to publicly abase themselves by kneeling before his radical ideology? That ideology consists of pure moonbattery at its most destructive — thus the reverence for Joanne Chesimard, a.k.a. Assata Shakur.

A representative of Assata’s Daughters explains its mission:

“Basically our organization is a part of a much larger movement that is fighting for the abolition of prisons, police and anti-blackness itself.”

The abolition of prisons and police means anarchy, the same dysfunctional form of tyranny favored by Antifa. “Anti-blackness” means “whiteness.” The outfit, like Shakur herself, is as vociferously racist as the Black Panthers, which explains the Black Power fists some NFL players thrust into the air to express their contempt for the Star-Spangled Banner:

To judge by Assata Shakur’s Marxist ravings, they also want to abolish private property:

Why would multimillionaires want to abolish private property? Because they are cretins. Leftism does not need to make sense for them; it only needs to express their malice.

No ideology is more thoroughly malevolent than the one NFL players theatrically kneel in honor of rather than show some modicum of respect for their country and their fans. This same ideology is honored by anyone who still watches the NFL.

Indoctrinating Pint-Sized Colin Kaepernicks and Worse

To get people to hate the greatest country in history, and to embrace sociopathic Black Lives Matter ideology, it helps to start young. From Belleville, Illinois:

Every player on the Cahokia Quarterback Club football team (8 and under) took a knee during the national anthem ahead of Sunday’s game at Little Devil’s Field in Belleville.

Coach Orlando Gooden has been instructing the tots on Colin Kaepernick’s antics, and on the Jason Stockley decision, whereby after many years a white police officer was absolved of murder charges after shooting a drug dealer of politically preferred pigmentation, providing a pretext for days on end of riots.

Fittingly, Gooden played college football at the University of Missouri. Due to the absence of resistance, a Black Lives Matter uprising that started with the football team has reduced that school to a laughing stock in a financial tailspin.

When the anthem started, the Cahokia third graders immediately took a knee where they were standing. Their backs were away from the flag—but not on purpose—according to Gooden.

“What I teach my kids is love, integrity, honesty, fairness, respect and boundaries,” he said.

Sure, that’s what we all saw in nearby Saint Louis over the weekend.

Within 10 years, Gooden’s disciples will be sacking the public library and laying siege to the Mayor’s residence.

Applying Coach Gooden’s toxic ideology in Saint Louis.

BLM, Spike Lee, and Colin Kaepernick Jointly Degenerate Into Total Farce

Like Colin Kaepernick, Spike Lee is a talent-deficient black racist desperately attempting to use moonbattery to revive a career at death’s door:

Note that these morons could not even spell their disgraceful hero’s name correctly.

One of the sponsors is the Justice League, famous for capitalizing on Eric Garner’s death with “I Can’t Breathe” shirts, as worn by LeBron James. To find racial oppression these days, you have to be willing to look under some rocks.

In addition to being a lousy quarterback, Kaepernick would be a terrible acquisition due to his highly conspicuous a-holism. A guy who theatrically refuses to stand for the national anthem, who praises a communist dictator, and whose girlfriend publicly depicts an NFL owner as a slave owner pleases ESPN moonbats like Max Kellerman and Skip Bayless immensely but will chase away fans. But we are expected to believe that no team has signed him due to racism, despite most NFL players being black.

Meanwhile, Kaepernick is said to have turned down at least one offer, presumably so he could stoke the phony racial controversy in hopes of starting a bidding war among teams eager to prove how politically correct they can be. The Kaepernick spectacle is phony and pathetic, like all things leftist.

How Colin Kaepernick Spent the Fourth of July

Colin Kaepernick, the mediocre, grotesquely overpaid NFL quarterback who has theatrically refused to stand for the national anthem because he thinks America somehow oppresses him, is not letting up on the a-holism. While we were flying our flags, scarfing hot dogs, and setting off fireworks in honor of America yesterday, he was in Africa denouncing our country:

Home? We could only wish he would make Africa his home. However, that would put a crimp in his limousine leftist lifestyle.

Note the comparative skin tones. Kaepernick is maybe one-quarter African. He looks more Arab than black, and could probably pass for white if he wanted to. But there would be no advantage in that.

Needing Work, Cowardly Colin Kaepernick Abandons Anti-American Principles

Colin Kaepernick’s allegedly noble principles did not allow him to stand for the national anthem because the country that pays him $millions per year to be lousy at his profession oppresses people of his skin color in some undefined way. But now these principles have become inconvenient. Consequently, they go out the window:

The controversial player will stand for “The Star-Spangled Banner” next season, according to sources who spoke to ESPN Thursday. …

According to the ESPN report, Kaepernick “no longer wants his method of protest to detract from the positive change he believes has been created” — a change that comes one day after the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport revealed that the veteran quarterback has decided to opt out of his 49ers contract and is now a free agent.

No longer under contract with a terrible team that has no decent quarterback, Kaepernick is now on the free market, where his odious political stance comes at a cost. Sports media moonbats laud Kaepernick, but fans rightfully despise him, which makes him less valuable to team owners. It would be a shame if an oppressed person of color such as himself couldn’t sign a contract for at least $15,600,000 per year.

Now even Colin Cowherd loathes Kaepernick.

Colin Kaepernick Wins Len Eshmont Award for Disrespecting America

Although he has a chance to opt out of his bloated contract and try to become even more grotesquely overpaid elsewhere, the underachieving Colin Kaepernick ought to stay on the wretched, 2-14 San Francisco 49ers. The team deserves him:

When the 49ers announced their team awards Friday afternoon, Kaepernick was the recipient of the Len Eshmont Award, given to the 49er who “best exemplifies the inspirational and courageous play of Len Eshmont, an original member of the 1946 49ers team.” The award, which was established after Eshmont died in 1957, is considered the most prestigious honor the players vote on.

The award has nothing to do with Kaepernick’s miserable performance on the field. This is his great accomplishment:

After sitting down for the national anthem before a preseason game, Kaepernick has knelt during the anthem for the entire season.

This has endeared him to the moonbats running ESPN, and to many of his fellow players throughout the NFL. Not to the fans though, who have been getting fed up with this crap.

Rough Weekend for Colin Kaepernick

Overpaid moonbat mediocrity Colin Kaepernick can’t catch a break. First his hero Fidel Castro finally croaked, right after Cuban escapee Armando Salguero tore Kaepernick to shreds for praising him. Then Miami fans, in a festive mood due to Castro’s death, booed Kaepernick as he took the field. Finally, the game ended in defeat for Kaepernick’s team on this play:

Making the tackle on Kaepernick was Kiko Alonso, the son of a Cuban immigrant.

Kaepernick and his followers using the National Anthem as an opportunity to publicly display their hatred of America, and the NFL’s support for this intolerable behavior, have been blamed for the league’s plunging popularity. But Kaepernick does provide some benefit, by giving the fans a villain to root against. Watching him get creamed is almost worth sitting through all the commercials and yellow flags.

Fidel Castro Finally Dead: Stand By for Deluge of Tears From Colin Kaepernick & Co.

Sorry, the champagne graphic is an insensitive way to mark the passing of former communist dictator Fidel Castro, a brutal tyrant much beloved on the left for decades. For example, grossly overpaid NFL mediocrity Colin Kaepernick must be weeping bitter tears to be dealt this blow immediately on the heels of sportswriter and Cuban escapee Armando Salguero publicly spanking him for praising the fiend:

The August evening the nation first noticed Colin Kaepernick taking a knee during the playing of the national anthem at an NFL game, the San Francisco 49ers quarterback held a postgame news conference, as is typical league policy. At that news conference Kaepernick wore a T-shirt emblazoned with photos from a 1960 meeting between Malcolm X and Fidel Castro.

So after his first notable protest against what last week he called the “systematic oppression” of minorities in the United States, and saying he wants “freedom for all people,” Colin Kaepernick put on a T-shirt that featured a supportive image of one of the 20th century’s most enduring oppressors.

Given that members of his family were not allowed to escape Castro’s regime, you can’t blame Salguero for fuming.

Cuba for more than five decades under the Castros has stifled practically any and all dissent. According to Human Rights Watch, “Cuban citizens have been systematically deprived of their fundamental rights to free expression, privacy, association, assembly, movement, and due process of law. Tactics for enforcing political conformity have included police warnings, surveillance, short-term detentions, house arrests, travel restrictions, criminal prosecutions, and politically motivated dismissals from employment.”

Now go to Google images of the Ladies In White protesting on Cuba’s streets. Kaepernick, the poster child for protest among NFL players, should do this. He would see images of women — white, black, mothers, daughters, sisters — systematically violated in one form or another by Castro’s thugs.

They are harassed, spat upon, pushed and even bloodied simply because they are fighting to do in Cuba what Kaepernick does on an NFL sideline without fear or physical repercussion — just before he wears that Castro shirt to his postgame presser.

So I ask Kaepernick how he can protest oppression then ignorantly don a T-shirt featuring an oppressor?

Kaepernick responded with a slop bucket of what we are constantly fed by Castro’s fellow travelers in the media.

Kaepernick, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, explains to me, the guy born in Havana, how great Castro really is.

“One thing Fidel Castro did do is they have the highest literacy rate because they invest more in their education system than they do in their prison system, which we do not do here even though we’re fully capable of doing that,” Kaepernick said.

Salguero responds:

First, Cuba does not have the highest literacy rate. Second, don’t be surprised if the same people who report Cuba’s admittedly high literacy rate are related to those who report its election results — the ones in which the Castros get 100 percent of the votes.

Third, could it be Cuba doesn’t have to invest a lot in its prison system because, you know, dungeons and firing squads (El Paredon) are not too expensive to maintain?

Finally, it’s bizarre that Kaepernick is extolling the education system of a country where people believe launching out into shark-infested seas to flee is a better idea than staying there.

Kaepernick let Salguero have it with the leftist fool’s weapon of choice, moral equivalence. Cuba’s communist regime throws people into dungeons for political reasons; America incarcerates criminals. Both potentially break up families, so they are equivalent.

Salguero was forced to conclude that Kaepernick is a “fraud” and an “unrepentant hypocrite.”

The same goes for all of Castro’s American admirers. May they choke on their tears.

Obama Backs Colin Kaepernick on Communist Soil

The sole silver lining to the revolting farce of an election we face in November is that whichever corrupt leftist wins, at least we will no longer be subjected to the relentless humiliation of having to call this piece of work the President:

Barack Obama has defended an American football player who has refused to stand during the national anthem in protest over racial discrimination in the United States, saying it was his constitutional right to raise “legitimate issues”.

A black guy who gets paid $19 million per year to sit on the bench denounces America for oppressing blacks, and another black guy who was made President largely on the basis of being black echoes his grievances while visiting America’s communist rival China.

By now we know that whatever we give them, it will never be enough to stop them from denouncing our country and demanding more.

What message does it send the troops who may be called on to defend America from Obama’s ChiCom friends that their Commander in Chief sides with a creep who refuses to stand during the national anthem?

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick barks. Obama effectively seconds the motion on enemy soil.

If there is an ingrate who slithers through the grass with its belly closer to the ground than Colin Kaepernick, it is the 44th President, who gushes,

“I don’t doubt his sincerity, based on what I’ve heard. I think he cares about some real legitimate issues that have to be talked about. If nothing else, what he’s done is he’s generated more conversation about some topics that need to be talked about.”

Not surprisingly, given the support he has received from the cultural Marxists in charge, Kaepernick’s disease is spreading.

His team-mate Eric Reid also sat out the anthem last week, while the first white athlete to join the protest, [soccer player] Megan Rapinoe, did not stand for the Star-Spangled Banner during a game on Sunday.

Rapinoe’s grudge against America is that it oppresses her for being homosexual.

“Being a gay American, I know what it means to look at the flag and not have it protect all of your liberties.”

This in a country that twists itself into knots to promote homosexuality at the expense of traditions that have been held as sacred for millennia. Never mind the absurdity; if the privileged stop sniveling that they are oppressed, they will stop getting ever more privileges.

Colin Kaepernick jerseys are the #1 seller right now, despite the fading state of his career, probably for the same reason idiots wear Che gear.

Kaepernick should run for President. People would vote for him.

Then again, maybe America hasn’t died of moonbattery yet. Maybe people are buying the Kaepernick jerseys so they can do this to them:

Colin Kaepernick and the Moonbat Conception of Free Speech

The contemptible spectacle Colin Kaepernick has made of his hatred of the country that has showered money and adulation upon him provides an opportunity for Paul Joseph Watson to explain what “free speech” means to moonbats:

No one wants the government to coerce Kaepernick to stand up like a decent person. What we want is for the NFL to stop allowing its employees to spit in our faces if it expects us to watch the entertainment it provides.

Colin Kaepernick’s Moonbat Socks

It is absurd to place emphasis on the political opinions of athletes and other entertainers, because they live in luxurious bubbles isolated from the world of normal Americans and they do not tend to be well informed or particularly thoughtful. But given the realities of our culture, we have to pay attention to them anyway, because they have so much influence. So here we are discussing washed-up, grotesquely overpaid quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s socks:

It appears that over the past few weeks, Kaepernick has been wearing socks that show a pig in a cop’s hat.

The quarterback has been wearing them since at least Aug. 10.

Why not? The socks aren’t any more infantile than his disrespectful refusal to stand for the national anthem.

A moonbat’s sock.

Tim Kaine on Colin Kaepernick

If Shrillary’s health is as precarious as some say, we need to learn more about Tim Kaine, who could be president before long. His response to NFL has-been Colin Kaepernick’s vile behavior is not encouraging:

At Thursday night’s game against the San Diego Chargers, which will feature a Salute to the Military event, Kaepernick is expected to sit again during the national anthem. Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos asked Kaine about it during the latter’s run of media appearances Thursday morning.

“You’re the father of a Marine. What’s your reaction to Colin Kaepernick?” Stephanopoulos asked.

“You know, you’ve got to respect people’s ability to act according to their conscience,” Kaine said.

Kaine softens his support with “I’d do it differently” and “when I heard him explain his rationale, [it] didn’t really make that much sense to me,” but his hedging misses the point. Refusing to offer respect to your country is not a matter of conscience. At best it is a matter of leftist political posturing. At worse, the overpaid punk actually means it, and hates America. Either way, Kaepernick’s behavior deserves no respect whatsoever.

No, this moonbat’s disrespect does not deserve respect.

Colin Kaepernick Personifies Why We Should Find More Constructive Ways to Spend Our Sunday Afternoons

There is a two-word explanation for why the NFL is not currently worthy of our attention: Colin Kaepernick. The mentality of this spoilt, posturing, America-hating ingrate is not only tolerated but widespread among the zillionaire goons we waste so many Sundays watching play a game:

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has willingly immersed himself into controversy by refusing to stand for the playing of the national anthem in protest of what he deems are wrongdoings against African Americans and minorities in the United States.

His latest refusal to stand for the anthem — he has done this in at least one other preseason game — came before the 49ers’ preseason loss to Green Bay at Levi’s Stadium on Friday night.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game.

The rich and famous Kaepernick is himself a supposedly oppressed person of color, who was adopted and raised by white parents.

Here’s a guy who enjoys far less wealth and privilege but still manages to stand for his country — despite a heartbreaking impediment:

He presumably lost those legs to preserve a way of life that enables Kaepernick to make $19 million per year playing a game — or rather sitting on a bench watching others play a game. Despite the bloated salary, Kaepernick isn’t good enough to be a starting player.

The Black Lives Matter virus is turning the NFL into a breeding ground of sociopathic politics. If the libs running the league want regular Americans to watch it, they will have to demand respectful conduct from players.
