Ironically, Taliban terrorists have many points in common with the liberals who have surrendered to them after arming them to the teeth, notably including:

• Rigid ideological intolerance, usually expressed by liberals through cancel culture, by the Taliban through brutal violence;

• A habit of waging war on history by destroying statues;

• Rabid hatred of Christianity;

• Hostility toward Western Civilization in general;

• An obsession with forcing people to cover their faces, though the Taliban only imposes this on women.

Maybe the tweet above didn’t make Hayden’s feelings clear. Let’s see another:

General Hayden can take satisfaction in the likelihood that many deplorable Americans will be killed by the Taliban in the weeks ahead, compliments of Joe Biden — whom Hayden endorsed in 2020.

Hayden served in powerful positions under not only Clinton and Obama, but also Bush 43. His mentality is largely bipartisan. It is the viewpoint of our ruling class.

Who has been keeping us safe, while our incompetent rulers wallow in their hatred of us? Mostly Lady Luck. But luck will soon run out, now that Biden has put wind in the sails of the Taliban and its al Qaeda allies.

Revoking college degrees is gaining steam as a new means for liberals to demonstrate their tolerance. As mentioned earlier, Middlebury College is revoking an honorary degree from Rudy Giuliani, and an NYU sociology professor wants Princeton to revoke Ted Cruz’s bachelor’s degree. Now Harvard students — tomorrow’s ruling elite — demand that the degrees of the POTUS’s staff and supporters be revoked.

Bark the Harvard moonbats:

“Is Harvard University prepared to take a stand for representative democracy and against violent white supremacy?”

“Violent white supremacy” means anything leftists don’t like. “Representative democracy” apparently means single-party Democrat rule, all opposition having been marginalized.

Countermoonbats whose Harvard degrees they specifically demand be revoked include Rep Dan Crenshaw, Senator Ted Cruz, and White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

Why not just cut to the chase and revoke all degrees of all Republicans?

It represents a failure of the admissions process that anyone likely to turn out Republican is accepted in the first place. No doubt academia is working hard to correct this shortcoming.

There is good news regarding the mountains of our money the federal government has been gifting to the tyrants running Ukraine. Our economy will derive at least some benefit, to the extent that the largesse is making some Americans rich — namely, warmongering congresscritters:

The U.S. has delivered more than $20 billion worth of military aid to Ukraine between Jan. 24, a month before Russia invaded, and Nov. 20, according to data compiled by the Council on Foreign Relations, and Congress has approved billions more in spending on Ukraine. To make up for that aid, top defense companies have boosted production, and lawmakers trading on company stocks saw a financial windfall as a result, according to publicly available stock trading data.

Overall, Democratic Rep. Earl Blumenauer of Oregon netted the highest average returns on defense company stocks since 2021 at 40%, according to a chart published Tuesday by Unusual Whales, a site known for exposing how members of Congress profit from trading related to legislative issues.

Now I get why Democrats so enthusiastically display those blue and yellow flags. Blue + yellow = green.

The bad news is that if war pigs get any more carried away with their saber rattling, there is liable to be a nuclear holocaust that will prevent them from spending the money.

In New York City, police are regarded as an undesirable element and have therefore been banned from participating in an annual parade celebrating homosexuality.

New York City Pride has told the New York Police Department’s Gay Officers Action League it is not welcome in the parade…

GOAL was formed in 1982 after NYPD Sgt. Charles Cochrane outed himself delivering testimony on anti-gay discrimination legislation pending before the City Council. The progressive organization paved the way for similar groups across the country.

Yesterday’s progressive pioneer is today’s canceled thought criminal, as the Overton window shifts into dimensions of leftism hitherto unimagined. Not even publicly embracing the gay lifestyle compensates for the sin of helping to maintain public order, because according to liberal dogma, local police are inherently racist.

Police are banned from the parade until at least 2025. NYC Pride says it will “take steps to keep police officers at least one city block away from event perimeter areas where possible” because it wants “to create safer spaces for the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities at a time when violence against marginalized groups, specifically BIPOC and trans communities, has continued to escalate.”

The skyrocketing crime rate resulting from the Black Lives Matter–inspired movement to defund or otherwise marginalize the police has demonstrated that everyone is safer when there are no police around — or at least, that is the lesson leftists seem to have drawn from it.

At least we will be spared the appalling spectacle of officers publicly twerking and simulating gay sex while in uniform.

A lot of good it did the NYPD to apologize for raiding the Stonewall Inn in 1969, which set off the infamous riots. Apologizing to moonbats only signals weakness, which invites further bullying and contempt. There is no grace among the politically correct.

It used to be the belligerently ostentatious gays who got banned from parades. They didn’t like it. But now that they have the whip hand, exclusion and intolerance are salutary.
