Technocrats Anthony Fauci and Francis Collins (who just stepped down as head of the NIH) demonstrate how it’s done in emails that the American Institute for Economic Research got hold of through the Freedom of Information Act.

The tale unfolded in October 2020 after the launch of the Great Barrington Declaration, a statement by Harvard’s Martin Kulldorff, Oxford’s Sunetra Gupta and Stanford’s Jay Bhattacharya against blanket pandemic lockdowns. They favored a policy of what they called “focused protection” of high-risk populations such as the elderly or those with medical conditions. Thousands of scientists signed the declaration—if they were able to learn about it.

The liberal establishment suppressed the Great Barrington Declaration, largely by ignoring it. Debt Star technocrats like Fauci and Collins took a more active approach.

“This proposal from the three fringe epidemiologists . . . seems to be getting a lot of attention – and even a co-signature from Nobel Prize winner Mike Leavitt at Stanford. There needs to be a quick and devastating published take down of its premises,” Dr. Collins wrote [to Fauci]. “Is it underway?”

“Fringe” is technocratese for “dissident.”

A week after his email, Dr. Collins spoke to the Washington Post about the Great Barrington Declaration. “This is a fringe component of epidemiology,” he said. “This is not mainstream science. It’s dangerous.”

What really is dangerous is white collar thugs like Collins and Fauci politicizing science and suppressing debate.

Dr. Fauci also emailed an article from the Nation, a left-wing magazine, and his staff sent him several more. The emails suggest a feedback loop: The media cited Dr. Fauci as an unquestionable authority, and Dr. Fauci got his talking points from the media. Facebook censored mentions of the Great Barrington Declaration. This is how groupthink works.

Recalcitrant scientists of the “Eppur si muove” type aren’t imprisoned these days. They aren’t even forced to listen to Collins singing and strumming his guitar. Soft tyrannies have soft takedowns. These make ideological conformity a prerequisite for career success and even continued employment.

Similar takedowns can be expected as necessary to keep everyone on the same page regarding the global warming hoax. Any scientist skeptical about a policy of controlling the weather by wasting taxpayer money on electric cars and other inefficient boondoggles will be dismissed as “fringe” and canceled.

Two of the largest liberal charities in the United States handed millions of dollars in grants to entities in China linked to the Chinese Communist Party, documents show.

The Bill and Melinda Gates and Ford foundations, two highly influential nonprofit groups influencing left-leaning causes, combined in 2021 to give over $39 million to China, according to their latest tax forms. Some of these funds were directed to Chinese universities and government agencies involved in military research to further the CCP’s global influence, filings reveal.

Unlike the moonbats who took over the foundation founded on the wealth he created, Henry Ford was as based as they come. The tachometer is in the red zone as he spins in his grave at 9,000 rpm.

Bill Gates, in contrast, is still with us and glad to fund the ChiComs.

“If the last few years have taught us anything, it’s that we need to heavily scrutinize every American dollar that goes to CCP-affiliated entities,” Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) told the Washington Free Beacon.

One reason is that under the direction of authoritarian technocrats like Anthony Fauci and Francis Collins, American taxpayer money was evidently spent to develop Covid, possibly as a bioweapon to be deployed against the USA.

A recent, $100,000 grant from the Microsoft mogul’s foundation was sent to the Foreign Talent Research Center of China’s Ministry of Science and Technology in June, according to the organization’s website.

The Foreign Talent Research Center is involved in recruiting talent worldwide to help the ChiComs in their projects.

Beyond COVID-19, the Chinese Communist Party has also come under fire for weaponizing its science and technology programs to lure Western scientists away from their home countries in order to facilitate Chinese advancement and military build-up. This program – commonly known as the Thousand Talents Plan – has led to several Department of Justice (DOJ) indictments of American researchers who routinely fail to disclose their financial ties to the Chinese Communist Party despite receiving U.S. taxpayer funds.

How nice for them that they receive funds not only from American taxpayers, but also directly from American moonbats like Bill Gates, who has poured $millions into Chinese institutions, some with ties to the infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of YouTube, has acknowledged that the platform’s policy of censoring legal content that it deems to be “harmful” is controversial and urged governments to step in and pass stronger speech laws.

If Big Government would impose totalitarian speech restrictions, then Big Tech wouldn’t have to do it. The only problem is the First Amendment, which forces Biden et al. to outsource tyranny to Silicon Valley.

However, considering the role Big Tech played in putting Biden or rather his handlers in power, it is in effect a branch of the government.

The “misinformation” censored by apparatchiks like Wojcicki is not necessarily untrue. It can be defined as any information that undermines the leftist narrative at a given point in time. She apparently wants it to be illegal even to wonder where Covid came from, since it was probably engineered in a communist laboratory with funding from US bureauweenies like Anthony Fauci and Francis Collins — who likewise oppose the free flow of ideas.

We may be close to confirming that Covid was engineered at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, that Tony Fauci helped finance its development, and that Fauci lied to Congress regarding the funding of gain of function research.

Military documents state that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018 seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the gain of function research moratorium.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) develops technologies such as nuclear missiles for military purposes. It regarded the research that apparently created Covid as too dangerous to pursue. But the NIAID and NIH under Tony Fauci and his fellow dissent-suppressing technocrat Francis Collins apparently felt otherwise and provided funding.

Fauci has repeatedly maintained, under oath, that the NIH and [NIAID] have not been involved in gain of function research with the EcoHealth Alliance program. But according to the documents obtained by Project Veritas which outline why EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal was rejected, DARPA certainly classified the research as gain of function.

Further revelations relate to the concealment of documents and the suppression of curatives like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

If the veracity of this DARPA memo can be confirmed, the implications are astounding:

SARS-CoV-2 is an American-created recombinant bat vaccine, or its precursor virus. It was created by an EcoHealth Alliance program at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), as suggested by the reporting surrounding the lab leak hypothesis. The details of this program have been concealed since the pandemic began. …

SARS-CoV-2’s form as it emerged is likely as a precursor, deliberately virulent, humanized recombinant SARSr-CoV that was to be reverse engineered into a live attenuated SARSr-CoV bat vaccine.

If he retires, the highest paid federal employee will cost taxpayers over $350,000 per year in retirement benefits.

Sadly, Fauci has no plans to retire. His work is too crucial to the nation.

“I’m the head of an institute that actually played the major role in the development of the vaccines that have saved now millions of lives from COVID-19,” he told CBS’ “Face the Nation” in an interview. “I’m the director of the institute that has now been very important in the basic research in leading to the drugs that will now have an important impact in the treatment of COVID-19. That’s what I do.”

He doesn’t mention his possible role in funding ChiCom gain-of-function research that created the virus.

“So, I’m going to keep doing that until this COVID-19 outbreak is in the rearview mirror, regardless of what anybody says about me, or wants to lie and create crazy fabrications because of political motivations[.]”

Earlier, we were led to believe that people lie and create crazy fabrications about him because they hate Science.

If it is up to Fauci et al., Covid is never going anywhere, so retirement is out of the question. Maybe he can pay the ChiComs with our money to work on re-animator fluid, so that he can stay on the job even after he has passed away.

In other Fauci news, Senator Rand Paul makes the case that Fauci has been killing thousands of Americans per month with his irrational emphasis on vaccines rather than therapeutics:

“I would venture to say that thousands of people die in our country every month now from COVID because [Fauci’s] deemphasized the idea that there are therapeutics,” Paul, who is also a physician, said in an interview on the Ron Paul Liberty Report published Monday.

Among the most promising therapeutics are monoclonal antibodies, which work so well that in Minnesota, hated Caucasians are put last in line for them.

“Recent data showed that monoclonal antibody treatment cuts the risk of death and hospitalization by 70% in high-risk patients and reduces the chance of infection among a household by 80%,” Paul wrote in a September op-ed. “Monoclonal antibodies have only just begun to be mentioned by the mainstream media, and misinformation still plagues government bureaucrats when discussing this scientifically-backed treatment.”

Fauci does not personify Science as he imagines, but he does personify government bureaucrats.

Covid has allowed Big Government to exploit its intrusive involvement in public health to run roughshod over liberties that many thought Americans would fight to the last man before surrendering. Pushback must be crushed by force under the guise of suppressing “misinformation,” according to white-coated tyrants like NIH Director Francis Collins.

[Collins] sees two ways of attempting to curb the spread of misinformation, though admits he’s unsure how successful either has been.

• The first: Identify those who are purposefully spreading false information online and bring them to justice.

• The second: Find a better way to counter false claims with real information. He didn’t specify what exactly either one would entail.

No need to specify what “bring them to justice” entails. It means you don’t just ban people from YouTube and Twitter if they contradict the Democrat Party line; you throw them in prison.

Collins gripes about having to live in a society where “somebody’s Facebook post carries as much weight as a statement from the director of the CDC about what is the truth of a public health crisis.”

Here’s an idea for fixing that: replace clowns like Rochelle Walensky and Anthony Fauci with people who are more interested in public health than party politics or their own bloated egos.

The authorities have squandered their credibility. Rebuilding it will require hard work on their part, not more censorship of dissenting voices.

However, our rulers are not in the mood to seek redemption:

Earlier this year, President Joe Biden accused social media platforms – which already seriously limit anti-vax and vaccine-skeptic content – of “killing people” with misinformation, and threatened these platforms with increased regulation. More recently, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla called people spreading “misinformation” on vaccines “criminals” who “have literally cost millions of lives.”

Happily, Collins is on the way out the door. Unhappily, under Democrat rule he is certain to be replaced with another authoritarian apparatchik for whom “public health” is just a means to an end.

Not if not even Seth Brenzel is allowed to volunteer for the San Francisco School Board’s Parent Advisory Council. He may be white, but he is “married” to another gay person and has adopted a mixed-race child. Not good enough:

Commissioner Matt Alexander expressed concern about “creating [a] space that over-represent[s] white parents.”

As for the adopted child being mixed race,

School Board Vice President Alison Collins was offended by the idea that Brenzel could advocate for mixed-race students.

“As a mixed-race person myself, I find it offensive when folks say that somebody is a parent of somebody who is a person of color as like a signifier that they’re qualified to represent that community,” she said.

Any meaningful qualifications Brenzel might have for the position are irrelevant:

The board ultimately moved to table the vote on Brenzel’s appointment until a more diverse group could be appointed to the Parent Advisory Council. It then voted to end the merit-based application process for Lowell High School, which the board assailed as creating “pervasive systemic racism.”

The San Francisco School Board recently made national news by changing the names of 44 schools in order to cancel racially incorrect thought criminals who represent white supremacy, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln.

San Francisco was America once. If liberalism prevails, America will be San Francisco.
