Nike to Sell Colin Kaepernick Shoe

If you would consider being caught dead in any item defiled by the Nike logo, much less buying anything new from this disgraceful corporation, consider its new Colin Kaepernick shoe.

Nike plans to release a line of shoes later this month honoring [former] NFL player Colin Kaepernick and his infamous demonstrations against the United States national anthem during football games.

The shoes come with a cartoon of Kaepernick’s goofy face on the back, complete with the conspicuous Afro that helps him look more black. The digits 081416 are emblazoned on the sole. This refers to August 14, 2016, the date the fading player began indulging in theatrically disrespectful antics when the national anthem was played, so as to express his contempt for America and the people who comprise it.

The moonbat shoes will sell for $110. That comes to $40 for the shoes and $70 to let everyone know how woke you are.

Not all Nike shoes make a pageant of anti-Americanism. Last summer, in a lapse from its usual moonbattery, Nike came out with sneakers sporting America’s original flag. But the shoes were pulled off the market after Kaepernick, the face of the company, denounced them as offensive.

Woke Nike Looted in the Name of Wokeness

It couldn’t happen to a woker company. Nike has positioned itself as an aggressively ultraleft corporation by paying the America-hating black supremacist professional moonbat Colin Kaepernick to serve as its public face. But no one with money is too woke to get looted in the name of wokeness.

A transgender former Nike contractor is seeking $1.1 million in damages from the sporting goods giant for allegedly allowing gender identity-based harassment.

According to a civil lawsuit filed this week, Nike and Mainz Brady Group, a staffing firm that hired workers for Nike, discriminated against computer engineer Jazz Lyles, who identifies as transmasculine and prefers the pronouns they/them/their. The complaint was filed with Multnomah Circuit Court in Oregon.

Excellent choice of venue. The seat of Multnomah County is Portland, an epicenter of Left Coast moonbattery.

Lyles claims that he was “misgendered” — i.e., referred to with biologically correct pronouns — during his short tenure with Nike. Why work for a living when being offended for a living is so much more remunerative?

Nike responded by kowtowing obsequiously to the very moonbattery in the name of which it is being sued. The company “is committed to a culture of diversity, inclusion and [quack quack quack].”

No doubt Nike will settle out of court for a small fortune, encouraging further lawsuits, which it will ineffectually attempt to fend off by subjecting employees to brainwashing sessions on behalf of the LGBT agenda.

Nike’s Victory Swim Collection to Feature Burkinis

Ever so woke Nike offers a preview of what we can expect to see in a future Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Nike’s Victory Swim Collection will include a full-coverage swimsuit and a swim hijab. …

The full coverage suit is available along with a separate hijab, tunic top and swim leggings.

Given the current political climate, this is unlikely to have been driven by a sudden expansion in the demand for burkinis. The probable purpose is the same as with choosing rabidly anti-American black supremacist Colin Kaepernick to be the face of the company: to sell its product by ostentatiously aligning itself with an ideology that wants you dead and your country burned down or blown up.

Nike Pulls Houston Rockets Gear to Appease ChiComs

After it showered a fortune on theatrically America-hating ultramoonbat Colin Kaepernick to serve as the face of the company, then killed a patriotic line of shoes because Kaepernick didn’t like it, I thought nothing could lower my opinion of Nike. I was wrong:

Managers at five Nike stores in Beijing and Shanghai told Reuters that management sent them a memo stating all Rockets merchandise had to be taken down. …

China is … Nike’s top source of revenue growth, according to Reuters.

The Houston Rockets were the most popular team in China, because Yao Ming played for them. But then Houston GM Daryl Morey tweeted “Fight for freedom, Stand with Hong Kong.” Disgustingly, he has been pressured into deleting the tweet and even apologizing to the ChiCom tyrants.

In Hong Kong, pro-democracy protesters standing up to the brutal communist regime wave the American flag because they think it still stands for freedom. I hope they are right.

If Kaepernick ever chokes to death on his own moonbattery, Nike ought to replace him with the bootlicking LeBron James.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey Pushes Back Against Nike

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey earns the highest kudos for pushing back against Nike after it nixed shoes with the original Betsy Ross flag on them because the odious Colin Kaepernick finds American heritage offensive:

In a series of overnight tweets, Ducey announced he is yanking … millions of dollars in state incentives offered to get Nike to build a manufacturing plant in the suburban city of Goodyear.

“Instead of celebrating American history the week of our nation’s independence, Nike has apparently decided that Betsy Ross is unworthy, and has bowed to the current onslaught of political correctness and historical revisionism,” Ducey wrote in a series of tweets early Tuesday.

Extra kudos to Ducey for recognizing that this represents not only the scourge known as political correctness but also an escalation of the liberal War on History, which went into high gear with the campaign to delete any remnant of Southern history and soon escalated to an attack on the flag.

Adds Ducey,

“Arizona’s economy is doing just fine without Nike. We don’t need to suck up to companies that consciously denigrate our nation’s history.”

Here is what Nike’s moonbattery cost it:

The city council in Goodyear, Arizona, voted Monday to approve plans to construct a multimillion-dollar Nike manufacturing plant in the city. The agreement included a promise to waive $1 million in plan review and permit fees and reimburse Nike an additional $1 million as a thank you for the estimated 550 jobs the plant will create.

Fortunately, there is no shortage of jobs in the Phoenix area without handing out money to a company that gives veto power over anything patriotic to a leftist former athlete who literally makes his living nowadays by hating America.

Ducey also noted,

“Words cannot express my disappointment at this terrible decision. I am embarrassed for Nike. Nike is an iconic American brand and American company. This country, our system of government and free enterprise have allowed them to prosper and flourish.”

Compare and contrast withholding free goodies from Nike due to its conspicuous anti-patriotism with the liberal politicians who refuse to allow Chick-fil-A to open restaurants because the Left is at war with the company due to its association with Christianity.

It isn’t hard to distinguish the good guys from the bad guys.

Nike Pulls Patriotic Sneakers on Orders From Colin Kaepernick

Nike has deep-sixed patriotic sneakers featuring the original Betsy Ross flag because vehemently anti-American washed-up former football player Colin Kaepernick expressed disapproval.

Kaepernick, best known for indulging in disrespectful antics when the national anthem was played during his bygone football career, proclaims that the original flag of the USA is offensive. So Nike, which has positioned itself as the official sneaker company of the radical Left by paying Kaepernick to represent it, pulled the shoe after it had already been sent to retailers.

The sneaker giant created the Air Max 1 USA in celebration of the July Fourth holiday, and it was slated to go on sale this week. The heel of the shoe featured a U.S. flag with 13 white stars in a circle, a design created during the American Revolution and commonly referred to as the Betsy Ross flag. …

After images of the shoe were posted online, Mr. Kaepernick, a Nike endorser, reached out to company officials saying that he and others felt the Betsy Ross flag is an offensive symbol because of its connection to an era of slavery…

Anything associated with the Enlightenment, which gave birth to America, must be erased because there was still slavery during this period, as there had always been.

To give a hostile cockroach like Colin Kaepernick veto power over our heritage is the most disgusting thing to come out of a moonbattery-addled corporation yet. The most sacred symbols of America now face consignment to the memory hole as thought crimes.

If it were up to Nike, the Fourth of July would be canceled, because apparently Kaepernick finds that offensive too.

Muslims Bully Nike

Nike renounced American customers who do not despise their own country by choosing Colin Kaepernick — a washed-up former football player remembered only for his disrespectful antics when the national anthem was performed — as the face of the corporation. Countermoonbats were enraged; many discarded or even burned their Nike products and vowed never to buy more. However, the liberal corporate establishment breezily dismisses the fury of deplorables. We’ll see if it also ignores the anger of Islamic supremacists, now that Muslims have proclaimed that the logo on the bottom of $150 Air Max 270 sneakers is offensive:

A Change.org petition, which garnered more than 14,000 signatures by mid-day Wednesday, claims that the logo resembles “Allah,” the Arabic word for God, written in Arabic script.

This is serious stuff among Muslims, who regard the bottoms of shoes as particularly unclean. Even letting someone see your shoe sole is regarded as an insult. They have murdered many people for far less than having something that reminds them of Allah on the bottom of a shoe.

Petitioner Saiqa Noreen screeches menacingly that the sneakers are “outrageous,” “appalling,” “disrespectful,” and even “extremely offensive.” She demands that all products with this logo be recalled “from worldwide sales immediately.”

Nike bleats that the logo says Air Max, not Allah, and that “Any other perceived meaning or representation is unintentional.”

So what? Intent is irrelevant. Did the restaurant in Phoenix with a picture of coalminers on the wall intend to be racist? Not even moonbats are crazy enough to think so. Yet they still demand the picture be removed.

When Muslims pretended that the ice cream swirl on some Burger King packaging looked like the word “Allah,” the junk food magnate obsequiously bowed to their demands. So did McDonald’s, when they pretended that squiggles on the bottom of a toy resembled the word “Muhammad.”

There is already precedent for Nike caving to Muslim crybullies:

In 1997, the company came under scrutiny for using a flame-shaped logo that also resembled the word for Allah. In that case, Nike pulled 38,000 pairs of sneakers worldwide and donated $50,000 to an Islamic elementary school in the United States.

Turning over lunch money with such alacrity will not dissuade Muslims from continuing to see the word “Allah” everywhere they look.

If you move when they push you, they will push you more. A pretext to push is the point of being “offended.”

Nike Store Calls Cops on Guy Waving Pro-Police Flag

Nike has won the corporate race to the furthest extreme of in-your-face moonbattery by making the rabidly anti-American and anti–law enforcement Colin Kaepernick the face of its new advertising campaign. What would happen if a patriot were to sit on the tailgate of his truck and wave a thin blue line flag, indicating support for the police, in front of an Arkansas Nike store? The manager would call the police, of course:

[Jimmie] Cavin tells us, he sat on his tailgate and didn’t say anything to anybody.

“I guess probably 15 minutes into it, a Little Rock patrol car pulled up,” Cavin says.

According to a police report Cavin showed us, officers showed up after a store manager reported a disturbance.

Seeing that there was no disturbance and having more serious demands on their time, the police soon left.

“So, Nike called the police on the guy supporting the police for supporting the police,” Cavin says.

No doubt the racially oppressed Colin Kaepernick would be even quicker to call the cops if someone were to sneak into his mansion and steal the socks he wore to practice back when he was a football player — the ones with the pigs in police hats.

Nike Stepped on Rake with Colin Kaepernick Campaign

The Washington Post crowed with delight when Nike chose as the face of the company Colin Kaepernick, who is known far more for his radical left politics and flamboyant hatred of the USA than for his former athletic skills. We were told this was a wise move due to America’s demographic transformation. According to a new report from Morning Consult, someone has miscalculated. Among the key findings:

Nike’s Favorability Drops by Double Digits: Before the announcement, Nike had a net +69 favorable impression among consumers, it has now declined 34 points to +35 favorable.

No Boost Among Key Demos: Among younger generations, Nike users, African Americans, and other key demographics, Nike’s favorability declined rather than improved.

Purchasing Consideration Also Down: Before the announcement, 49 percent of Americans said they were absolutely certain or very likely to buy Nike products. That figure is down to 39 percent now.

The report features graphs indicating that Nike has lost ground even among groups it is trying to pander to, such as Democrats, Millennials, and blacks.

With luck, Nike shooting itself in the foot will put an end to the fad of corporations going out of their way to align themselves with far-left viewpoints.

You can see why progressives would want Kaepernick accepted as some sort of hero. Our shared reverence for what the flag and the national anthem represent holds us together as a nation. Destroy that reverence and you have destroyed America. That is the ultimate objective of Cultural Marxism.

Fortunately, people are made of better stuff than the liberal establishment would like to think.

Colin Kaepernick Becomes Face of Nike

Moonbat “virtue” signaling has been the big fad in corporate America lately, with each company trying to outflank the others on the Left with its public posturing. Now one has gone too far. Nike has declared war on its own country by making former football player and anti-American demagogue Colin Kaepernick the face of the company with a 10-year contract.

The contract is a “wide endorsement,” providing Kaepernick with “his own branded line including shoes, shirts, jerseys and more.”

A new ad features Kaepernick’s irritatingly self-important face in black and white and the words, “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.”

Like the ideology Kaepernick personifies, the ad is a lie. Kaepernick did not sacrifice anything. He was a washed-up, overpaid benchwarmer when he started up with his anti-American antics during the national anthem. His athletic career was ending when he opted out of his contract in 2017. Now he has switched to a lucrative new career as a professional racial arsonist and hater of America.

You can’t boycott every product of companies that strike left-wing poses. But after this, to wear anything featuring a Nike swoosh is to hawk up a clot of phlegm and spit it on Old Glory.

Imagine trying to look a legless vet in the eye after he sees Nikes on your feet.

Manny Pacquiao Loses Nike Endorsement Deal for Not Being Gay Friendly

The long arm of homofascism has reached out to snatch away a lucrative Nike endorsement deal from Manny Pacquiao after the boxer said something that was not gay friendly — in the Philippines:

Pacquiao, a Philippines senatorial candidate, generated outrage when he said, “Gay people are worse than animals” on TV. He initially defended those comments by citing the Bible, though he later apologized for the comparison. He maintained his position that he remains against same sex marriage.

In self-righteous terror of incurring the wrath of the militant gay community, Nike was quick to throw Pacquiao overboard:

“We find Manny Pacquiao’s comments abhorrent.” the company said in a statement. “Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community.”

Nike added, “We no longer have a relationship with Manny Pacquiao.”

No doubt Pacquiao’s comments were over the top. But it used to be we had freedom of speech in this country. Now, we don’t even have freedom of speech in other countries. Anything anyone says anywhere has to pass muster with the P.C. thought police here in the erstwhile Land of the Free.

At least we can still buy Under Armour products instead.

Pimp Sues Nike for Not Putting Warning Label on Sneakers

Rule by moonbats has stagnated the economy and left few channels for legendary American ingenuity. One remaining channel is inventing ever more preposterous lawsuits for the purpose of making money the new-fangled way — legal looting:

A 26-year-old Portland pimp has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Nike, claiming the shoe manufacturer is partially responsible for a brutal beating that helped net him a 100-year prison sentence.

Sirgiorgiro Clardy claims Nike should have placed a label in his Jordan shoes warning consumers that they could be used as a dangerous weapon. He was wearing a pair when he repeatedly stomped the face of a john who was trying to leave a Portland hotel without paying Clardy’s prostitute in June 2012. …

In his three-page complaint handwritten from the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton, Clardy claims that Nike, Chairman Phil Knight and other executives failed to warn consumers that the shoes could be used as a weapon to cause serious injury or death.

“Under product liability there is a certain standard of care that is required to be up-held by potentially dangerous product …” wrote Clardy, who is representing himself. “Do (sic) to the fact that these defendants named in this Tort claim failed to warn of risk or to provide an adequate warning or instruction it has caused personal injury in the likes of mental suffering.”

A great legal mind went to waste when Clardy turned to the pimping profession.

His performance in the courtroom was noteworthy:

During his two-week trial and his two-day sentencing hearing, Clardy was known for his unusual courtroom antics. He shouted expletives at the judge, prosecutors and jurors.

A psychologist declared him an anti-social psychopath who was 100 percent likely to commit violent crimes again. And Clardy disagreed so loudly — making such a scene — that he was removed from the courtroom.

If that sounds familiar, you might be thinking of the courtroom antics of convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal, whose cause was taken up by the radical leftist Obama chose to head the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Social Justice.

Maybe, given a presidential pardon, Clardy could pursue a legal career after all.

Corporate America v Gun Rights

The Founding Fathers devised a remarkably effective system to defend us from excessive government. However, Big Government does not have a monopoly on tyrannical centralized power. Major corporations, deranged by ESG moonbattery, often feel compelled to advance a repressive left-wing agenda. This is not always limited to the nauseating posturing we see from belligerently woke companies like Nike and Procter & Gamble. Moonbattery.com sponsor Ammo.com warns of the threat posed to the fundamental right to bear arms, which the Constitution defends from the government but not from private companies.

The Parkland Shootings in 2018 set off a firestorm of liberal propaganda attacking gun rights. Eager to acquire PC brownie points, Corporate America theatrically toed the ideological line.

JPMorgan Chase’s Chief Financial Officer Marianne Lake crowed to reporters that the company’s relationship with firearms manufacturers “have come down significantly and are pretty limited.” Bank of America announced its intention to stop extending credit to business clients manufacturing “military-style weapons.”

“Military style” in this context does not usually refer to functionality; it basically means that liberals think the gun is scary-looking.

Citigroup … took the step of requiring any of its business partners to restrict firearms sales to those over the age of 21, as well as those who have not passed a background check. They also barred their partners from selling so-called “high capacity magazines”…

After all, no one needs 10 bullets to kill a deer — although you never know how many bullets someone might need to defend their home.

Amalgamated Bank went perhaps the furthest of all, refusing to invest any of its assets in companies involved in the manufacture of “firearms, weaponry and ammunition.”

Then there is PayPal:

PayPal, the biggest payment processing system on the Internet, cannot be used for any exercise of your Second Amendment rights

The Second Amendment has been rendered moot if private companies are able to deny gun manufacturers and retailers the use of financial services.

This goes beyond the finance industry.

Salesforce, a popular software platform for online retailers, will no longer do business with companies who sell virtually all forms of semi-automatic weapons.

We can boycott some of the companies that go out of their way to undermine our right of self-defense, like Levi’s and Dick’s. Others are harder to avoid.

Microsoft has put language in its Code of Conduct that prevents users from using [its online services] “in any way that promotes or facilitates the sale of ammunition and firearms.”

Human Ken Doll Transitions Into Barbie

The moonbattery-addled freak show that passes for popular culture must eventually reach peak weirdness. For now, every day brings a new extreme in grotesquerie — like the transitioning of “human Ken doll” Rodrigo Alves into a Barbie.

He was known as the human Ken doll after spending over £500,000 to change his looks.

But today Rodrigo Alves bravely comes out as a transgender woman.

After deforming himself with hormone injections so that he can wear a D-cup brassiere, Alves proclaims,

“I finally feel like the real me.”

He must not like the real him very much, or he would not try to change himself into something alien and grotesque. The mainstream media that relentlessly promotes transgender depravity must not like civilization very much, for the same reason.

Roddy, who is from Brazil but lives in London, admitted it took a lot of courage finally to admit she [sic] was trangender.

That was very courageous of Roddy to admit how courageous he is as the media predictably fawns over him.

His horrific future plans include silicone breast implants, still more facial plastic surgery, and having his genitals surgically removed. He has already had over 70 operations to change his appearance, earning him the “human Ken doll” moniker.

Muddled by moonbattery, people seem not to realize that this is not healthy.
