Everyone knew that taking down statues of this great man would not be enough, because so long as progressives encounter minimal resistance, nothing is ever enough — not even this:

The Washington Post reported that “Swords Into Plowshares,” a project led by University of Virginia religious studies professor Jalane Schmidt and Charlottesville’s Black history museum executive director Andrea Douglas, “will turn bronze ingots made from molten Lee into a new piece of public artwork to be displayed in Charlottesville. They made arrangements for Lee to be melted down while they started collecting ideas from city residents for that new sculpture.”

The great man who fought honorably for his homeland Virginia was denounced as “White supremacist toxic waste.”

Coercively funded government media tells us to approve of our history being defiled and flushed away:

NPR also covered the event and credited Swords Into Plowshares for its efforts to “create a more inclusive public art installation.”

That which you don’t defend will be taken from you. Americans have failed to defend their heritage.

Other great Virginians (e.g., George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Mason) will meet the same fate and for the same reason. This process is already underway.

No great American will be spared, not even Lee’s adversary Abraham Lincoln.

Traveller served Lee both during the Civil War and afterwards, when the ex-general became president of the then-Washington College. Lee was president from 1865 until his death in 1871. Traveller died a few months later.

Lee was a great man who defended his home, Virginia. For moonbats, that is all the more reason to erase him.

The city council decided how to dispose of the now-removed statue at the center of the Unite the Right rally in 2017 during a meeting that stretched into Tuesday morning, The Daily Progress reported.

The Jefferson School African American Heritage Center will get its hands on the statue. Its executive director Andrea Douglas says that what they are going to do with it will “be more reflective of our entire community’s social values.” By the “entire community,” she means herself and those who are in lockstep with her ideology. Everyone else is a racist to be erased.

They do this by erasing American history.

Barbara Johns is said to have led a student strike at Robert Russa Moton High School in Farmville, Virginia in 1951. That gives her more cultural significance than Robert E. Lee, according to those rewriting our history.

The Committee plans to remove any public statue or work of art that ‘depicts a person who owned enslaved persons or directly benefited economically from slavery, or who participated in systemic crimes against indigenous peoples or other crimes against humanity’.

From the liberal viewpoint, that means anyone who lived at the time of the nation’s founding.

Dozens of prominent statues across the city are at risk including those depicting Thomas Jefferson and former governor Peter Stuyvesant.

By erasing our history, they erase our identity. Then they can create a new identity as a nation of farm animals content to stay in their pens so long as they are fed free slop until it is time for a trip to the slaughterhouse.

There are multiple statues and monuments to Washington, including Washington Square Park and the George Washington Bridge. It’s unclear whether the park and bridge will be leveled or just simply renamed.

At this point, maybe they should level the whole city and start over.

No doubt Miss Bettinger’s scalp helped secure Bryant’s status as a woke activist, which Unilever has allowed her to monetize.

Bryant, 22, is a leftist community organizer and former DEI intern who recently graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She prides herself on harboring a lifelong antipathy towards the police, having supposedly organized her first rally for Trayvon Martin at the age of 12.

Trayvon Martin was shot in self-defense while attempting to smash the skull of neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman against the sidewalk, evidently after being interrupted as he prepared to burglarize houses.

Years later, she petitioned to have the Robert E. Lee statue in Charlottesville, Virginia, taken down and other elements of the area’s history erased.

She then led the jihad against innocent victim Morgan Bettinger.

Bryant later admitted she may have “misheard” Bettinger’s words on the day in question.

Bettinger had been accused of observing that Black Lives Matter hooligans would make good speed bumps. Actually, she said they could have ended up as speed bumps as a result of blocking the street.

Despite Bryant’s admission and a dearth of evidence, UVA’s University Judiciary Committee found Bettinger guilty of using “shameful rhetoric” which “put members of the community at risk.” As a consequence of the ruling, Bettinger, who had already been subjected to horrible abuse as a result of Bryant’s allegations, ended up with an expulsion in abeyance on her permanent record and had to both write the BLM radical an apology and perform 50 hours of community service with a social justice group.

That’s life on campus, under the rule of moonbat tyrants like Zyahna Bryant.

Showcasing Bryant is part of a larger campaign by Dove to pervert and defile the concepts of beauty and femininity in accordance with woke ideology:

On Thursday, David Blake of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, near Waukesha, joined tens of thousands of others at the Wisconsin State Fair, an annual event dating back all the way to 1851. While Blake was wandering about the bovine area, he saw a cow name that apparently stopped him dead in his tracks.

He took a picture of the nameplate, presumably to inspire a lynch mob on social media. It didn’t take long.

Vaun Mayes, who describes himself as “Milwaukee’s Malcolm X,” then shared the image on Facebook.

The Malcolm X wannabe accompanied the picture with the usual imperious crybullying. Hats off to him for managing to find some racist oppression, which isn’t easy these days.

The cow’s name was promptly changed to Puzzle on the official list of awardees. But that wasn’t enough. The offending cow was ejected from the fair.

A statement was issued to placate the mob:

“The exhibitor who showed this animal was part of our junior show and is also no longer at State Fair Park.”

Junior show. Looks like the cow-namer was a child.

That’s the slippery slope for you. Just the other day, they were canceling Robert E. Lee’s horse. Already they are going after kids and their cows.

“We plan to review the entry process and discuss ways to prevent this type of situation in the future.”

Future cow names will probably have to pass political review. Good thing there are plenty of recent college graduates with expensive degrees in Victim Studies who are qualified not only to pour coffee at Starbucks but also to staff the Wisconsin State Fair Cow Name Monitoring Committee.

The Texas A&M School of Medicine bragged that removing photos of white male alumni was an example of its institutional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, new documents reveal.

Good thing liberals can erase white males without erasing their accomplishments, or people of all skin tones would be lying cold, hungry, and sick in the dark.

The institution included the response in a survey it completed for the Association of American Medical Colleges last year, which the organization used for its Diversity, Inclusion, Culture, and Equity Inventory. The school’s survey responses were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by the medical watchdog group Do No Harm and shared with the Washington Examiner.

The accomplishments referred to above will be scaled back if the medical profession continues to succumb to moonbattery. The University of Minnesota Medical School already places the practices of witch doctors on a par with advanced medicine.

In response to a question that asked schools if they had modified branding and communications displays to eliminate aspects that could be “perceived as noninclusive,” the Texas A&M School of Medicine said it removed “the predominantly white male photos of [the] graduating class prominently displayed on the entrance” to the school.

Other avowed DEI efforts at Texas A&M include discriminating against white males in admissions and salaries. Where liberals dominate, as they do in education, systemic animosity is virtually unrestrained.

When the statues of Robert E. Lee started coming down in the South, most knew it was only the beginning. But even now, few realize how far wokeness will go if it is not turned back.

Among the two who suspiciously look like Democrat activists are Colleen Wachenfeld, whose profile said she works for the Virginia Democrats, and Camden Layton, whose profile said he worked as the finance director for the Virginia Democrats.

Later on Friday, the anti-Trump organization Lincoln Project took responsibility for the stunt in a defiant statement.

The Lincoln Project is the same moonbat operation that compared Antifa brownshirts to the heroes who stormed the beaches on D-Day. Vice explains why these cockroaches abandoned their hoax and confessed with only days to go before the election:

Lee has been admired for going on 2 centuries for being a great man. His retroactive sin was fighting for his home Virginia, which he did for honorable reasons.

Lincoln too defended his country as best he knew how, earning a denunciation from Lovasco for being “responsible for the needless deaths of thousands of people, including large numbers of Native Americans.”

Because of honorable men like Lee and Lincoln, America survived the Civil War and became united again. Without some grace on both sides, a guerilla war might have dragged on for generations. Because honorable men are no longer prevalent in our society, the country is becoming unmoored from its history and torn apart again.
