To get a clear idea where the Black Lives Matter movement is coming from, look to Colin Kaepernick, a washed-up athlete who started the fad of kneeling disrespectfully during the national anthem because America is “racist.”

This appalling practice spread throughout sports at the peak of Black Lives Matter rioting. Rather than stand for their country, absurdly overpaid athletes chose to kneel to Marxist race rioters.

Kaepernick personifies the BLM mentality. He surprises no one when he denounces America. He surprised no one on Monday when he championed former Black Panther and convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal:

Kaepernick called upon the Philadelphia district attorney’s office to release Abu-Jamal, claiming that he was framed after falling prey to police brutality.

No serious person believes that Abu-Jamal is innocent. Five witnesses saw him assassinate Officer Daniel Faulkner. The trial was an open-and-shut case that he turned into a circus, winning the hearts of leftists.

Abu-Jamal murdered Faulkner in 1981. He was sentenced to death. That he is still alive is itself a crime.

Kaepernick doesn’t speak only for himself:

Kaepernick emphasized that the Black Lives Matter movement demands that Abu-Jamal be released from prison so that his legacy matters.

This legacy is on display every time a police officer is ambushed.

Loggins was close to former NFL quarterback and social justice activist Colin Kaepernick and helped radicalize Kaepernick. Earlier this week, students said Loggins singled out Jewish students in his class and told them to grab their belongings and stand in a corner, saying, “This is what Israel does to the Palestinians,” The Forward reported.

“He asked how many Jews died in the Holocaust,” and when students said 6 million, “he said, ‘Yes. Only 6 million,’” Nourya Cohen, who spoke with Jewish students in the class, told The San Francisco Chronicle. Loggins reportedly proceeded to downplay the Holocaust by comparing it to European colonization, which he said killed more people than the Holocaust.

The presentation apparently consisted of a sermon in our state religion, critical race theory, demonizing whites as somehow “privileged.”

Rug rats were presented with a “Fistbook for Kids” demanding they do their part to advance leftist race ideology. The book undermines their parents’ authority by advising kids that “just because someone is older than you doesn’t mean that they’re right all of the time,” and then asks,

“Who in your family has racist beliefs? Do you think you can change their ways? What is your strategy for dealing with them?”

Meanwhile, parents were sent a link to Richards’ original “Anti-Racism Fight Club Fistbook” for adults, which vehemently denounces America and “white supremacy.” It explicitly states that “riots/looting” are justified because the police “murder citizens without penalty.” The material even praises anti-American cockroach Colin Kaepernick:

“If you hate Kaepernick now, you’d hate Dr. King if he was alive today,” it argues. “And do you know what’s funny? In 50 years from now, white people will probably talk glowingly of Kaepernick as they are with Dr. King now. Stop using his quotes to benefit your racism.”

Because urgently needed video cameras have not been installed in public school classrooms, we can only guess at the indoctrination children are receiving. We know it isn’t pretty:

Ginsburg told Couric she was opposed to the action, saying those who kneel during the anthem were showing “contempt for a government that has made it possible for their parents and grandparents to live a decent life,” according to new reporting by the Daily Mail.

That opinion was left on the cutting room floor. Couric left in Ginsburg’s remark that kneeling athletes are “dumb and disrespectful,” but without letting her explain why.

Looks like Ginsburg tried to walk back her comments anyway, having realized that she had strayed off the liberal reservation:

The convenient thing about race riots in a society poisoned by critical race theory is that you can always find another pretext. About 500 people had gathered overnight outside of a police precinct in the city and clashed with officers.

Details of what actually happened to Wright are still unclear.

Brooklyn Center Police said that officers had stopped an individual shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday. After determining the driver had an outstanding warrant, police tried to arrest him. But the driver reentered the vehicle and drove away, police said. An officer fired at the vehicle, striking the driver. Police said the vehicle traveled several blocks before crashing into another vehicle.

Apparently, the officer meant to use a Taser, but in the heat of the moment accidentally fired a handgun instead.

If the media didn’t encourage Criminals of Color to resist arrest, Wright might still be alive.

Minnesota Department of Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington detailed how demonstrators gathered shortly after the shooting and crash, with some jumping on top of police cars and confronting officers. Marchers also descended upon the Brooklyn Center Police Department building where rocks and other objects were thrown at officers, he said.
