The thuggish tactics Democrats use to keep members from straying from the hard left herd will hit them in the face like the handle of a rake as decent people recoil from scenes like the wedding they spoiled in their latest of repeated attempts to bully Kyrsten Sinema into voting to spend the nation into oblivion:

Prominent congresscritter Maxine Waters (D-CA) told the liberal mob how to deal with members of the opposing party:

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters said.

The same principle applies to moderate Democrats who try to use a public restroom:

Video shows the Democratic senator from Arizona being accosted by left-wing activists at Arizona State University, including following Sinema into the bathroom to scold her on how she should vote for a controversial spending bill.

The maniacs who harassed her are apparently members of the radical sect LUCHA (Living United for Change in Arizona). Their goal was to browbeat her into supporting the $3.5 trillion plan to plunge the country into socialism through budget-busting new entitlements.

[T]he activists accosted Sinema in the classroom and continued to follow the senator into the bathroom. Even after Sinema went into the bathroom stall, the progressive protesters continued to reprimand the U.S. lawmaker.

It is against Arizona law to take video of people in the restroom without their permission. But rule of law has no meaning for leftists. Under their preferred form of government, anarchotyranny, the law is whatever they want it to be at any given moment.

The other Democrat Senator who hasn’t knuckled under to the radical left is Joe Manchin:

Last week, left-wing activists used kayaks to get close enough to yell at Manchin, who was on his houseboat.

Whether the intimidation tactics will work is doubtful. Sinema and Manchin have already faced the worst Chuck Schumer can threaten them with. Trying to push them around might even provoke some backlash.

Biden really does not want the public to know about his federal takeover of election administration. Dozens of members of Congress have repeatedly asked for details, to no avail. Good government groups, members of the media, and private citizens have filed requests under the Freedom of Information Act. Not a single one has been responded to. All signs indicate a concerted effort to keep the public in the dark until at least after the November midterm elections. The lack of transparency and responsiveness is so bad that the Department of Justice and some of its agencies have been repeatedly sued for the information.

Democrats tried to seize control of elections at the federal level in violation of the Constitution through legislation, but couldn’t get the votes because a total of two Democrat Senators (Kyrsten Sinema, Joe Manchin) were squeamish about reducing the USA to a banana republic. So the mission will be accomplished more furtively.

Although Democrat plans to lay a heavy thumb on the scale for the November elections are mostly top secret, a few details are known, including:

• In the midst of a labor crisis, the Department of Labor boasted that it was turning 2,300 American Job Centers previously focused on helping displaced workers find jobs into hubs of political activism. These new federally funded voter registration agencies were given guidance about how to bring in organizations to conduct “voter outreach.”

• The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services likewise announced plans to turn community health centers into voter registration agencies, using thousands of health care facilities to focus on voter registration and turnout.

• The Housing and Urban Development Department sent notice to public housing authorities that they should begin voter registration drives and participation activities. Previously, officials had been barred from electoral activities because they receive federal funding.

• “It is presumed residents of public housing might disproportionately vote Democrat. … The executive order targets people receiving government benefits who might think their benefits depend on one party in power,” Stewart Whitson, legal director for the Foundation for Government Accountability, told the Daily Signal.

• The Department of Education sent “dear colleague” letters to universities, telling them that Federal Work Study funds could now be used to support voter registration activities, contrary to previous guidance. The change was made without having gone through any rulemaking process to allow the change.

• The U.S. Department of Agriculture said it’s using its child nutrition programs to push voter registration and enlisting state, local, and federally funded employees to implement voter registration drives in local schools.

For the federal government to spend our money on Democrat get out the vote drives is blatantly corrupt. The aspects of the plan that have been kept secret are doubtless far worse. But by the time courts can do anything about it, the election will be over. Anyone who complains will be accused of “conspiracy theories” and “insurrection.”

Given how dramatically they have lowered our standard of living just since Biden took office, if Democrats are to stay in power, they will have to cheat at levels that will make the 2020 election look fair by comparison.

The stakes could not be higher. It would be one thing if Democrats were merely harmless kooks who in the privacy of their own insular world believe silly lies, like privileged identity groups being oppressed and electric cars improving the weather. Fortunately, Biden and his party were dealt a setback in this regard when three squeamish senators who are trying to position themselves as moderates (Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, Mark Kelly) nixed the appointment of hard left union goon David Weil to run the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

Weil had the same job in the Obama Administration, when he sought to destroy the franchise business model and gig economy as Americans know them. President Biden nominated him for a second stint on the expectation that he would impose via regulation much of Big Labor’s Pro Act that has failed to pass the Senate.

The Pro Act is modeled on California’s devastating AB5, which largely makes it illegal to work as a freelancer. Big Unions, which play a major role in financing the cancer that is the Democratic Party, can’t impose themselves on freelancers.

California’s AB5 law reclassifying most independent contractors as employees was inspired by none other than Mr. Weil. And this may be one reason the two Democratic Senators from Arizona opposed his nomination. They’ve seen the headaches the law has created for business and workers next door, and they don’t want them coming to Arizona. More workers have embraced freelancing during the pandemic. So why would Mr. Biden nominate someone to a top Labor job who wants to kill their jobs?

Two reasons: (1) Biden is a stooge for the ultraleft, and Big Unions are at the core of the ultraleft; and (2) progressive strategy assumes that the more people are thrown out of work by leftist policies, the more dependent they will be on Big Government, the more likely they will be to vote Democrat — particularly when the tyranny is imposed at the federal level so that they cannot escape it just by crossing the border from California to Arizona, as so many have done.

These regulatory appointees will take on more importance as progressives turn to executive action to impose what they can’t pass in Congress.

That’s why the millions who rely on the flexibility afforded by freelancing to go about living the way they want to live are not out of the woods.

Democrats know from the disaster of AB5 that the Pro Act would destroy many lives. Yet they are trying to slip it through the back door anyway. What they cannot accomplish by Democratic means, they will impose surreptitiously through their massive regulatory apparatus.

These people want to hurt you. They are not going to stop because three senators feared a backlash. Virtually every other Democrat is on board with an agenda that could best be described as malicious.

Several Democratic senators have voiced opposition to the Biden administration’s repeal of the Title 42 policy, which allowed border agents to immediately expel illegal border crossers.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention publicly announced the repeal of Title 42 on Friday.

The CDC also has the power to deny fundamental property rights by declaring that people don’t have to pay rent. It is among the many agencies that should be abolished if Americans ever retake control of the US Government. For now, it wields absolute power as a cat’s paw for the White House.

Joe Manchin is no patriot, or he would have abandoned the Democrat Party long ago. He certainly would not support placing anti-American kook Ketanji Brown Jackson on the Supreme Court. However, he is not quite Vidkun Quisling. Manchin noted that the decision to open the border further is “frightening.”

“We are already facing an unprecedented increase in migrants this year, and that will only get worse if the Administration ends the Title 42 policy. We are nowhere near prepared to deal with that influx,” Manchin said in a statement. “Until we have comprehensive, bipartisan immigration reform that commits to securing our borders and providing a pathway to citizenship for qualified immigrants, Title 42 must stay in place.”

None of that will happen before May 23, when the Armageddon of demographic displacement is scheduled to begin.

Senator Maggie Hassan (D., N.H.) warned that the Biden administration “does not appear to be ready” for a potential influx of migrants once the repeal goes into effect.

Sure it’s ready. It has a border czar, Kamala Harris.

On a more serious note, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) confirms that there is no plan in place to deal with the inevitable tsunami of illegal aliens that will constitute the most serious invasion of the United States since the War of 1812:

Being from Arizona, a state that has already been hit hard by open borders policies, Dem Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly both criticized the repeal of Title 42.

This should not spare them from the wrath of voters. Anyone who participates in the Democrat Party is helping to slit the country’s wrists, regardless of how they find it politically expedient to vote on particular bills, and regardless of what self-serving statements they might make.

A record 2 million illegal immigrants crossed the border during Biden’s first year in office and the surge is expected to intensify after Title 42 is repealed.

Once illegal aliens and their abundant entitled offspring achieve sufficient numbers, the votes of Americans will no longer count, because we will be outnumbered.

Respondents who said they did not belong to either one of the two main parties cut against Trudeau’s crackdown with 74% disapproving versus 21% approving.

That anyone other than Democrats could approve is a testament to the insidious power of the media.

Elected Dems are eager to implement similar policies. Arizona Congresscritter Ruben Gallego may be best known for giving his former wife Kate Gallego (née Widland) a Hispanic name, which helped her become Mayor of Phoenix, but he has bigger ambitions. He wants to replace Kyrsten Sinema in the Senate for not being sufficiently radical. He also wants to confiscate trucks from dissidents:

In light of reports that a convoy could target D.C.’s Capital beltway this week, Gallego, who has served in Congress for more than seven years, suggested seizing the trucks: “Perfect time to impound and give the trucks to small trucking companies looking to expand their business,” Gallego tweeted.

Gallego isn’t bright enough to come up with the idea on his own:

The mayor of Ottawa, Canada has said that he inquired with the city manager about how the trucks towed from the protest could be seized and sold to cover costs incurred in connection with the demonstration.

Dana Loesch, responding to Gallego’s suggestion that trucks should be seized, noted that such action is, “Also known as theft.”

Yes, government confiscating property is theft. But these days, that is not a compelling argument against stealing the trucks. Today’s radicalized Democrats now understand that controlling education and the media does not suffice, because some Americans continue to think for themselves. This resulted in the humiliating defeat of their golden boy Terry McAuliffe. They know they will not be able to inflict their agenda with the consent of the population. Even Chuck Todd understands that voters have had enough of them.

Democrats recently tried to federalize elections in brazen violation of the Constitution so that they can legalize the voter fraud that has become key to their electoral strategy. They were stopped by the thinness of their advantage in the legislature. This can be overcome only by pulling out all stops and nuking the filibuster.

After their spanking in Virginia, Democrats could have learned a lesson and backed off from the unpopular radical course they have taken under Biden. But Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has chosen a diametrically opposite response:

“We will continue to fight for voting rights and find an alternative path forward, even if it means going it alone,” Schumer said.

“Voting rights” is an Orwellian euphemism for reducing elections to banana republic farces by institutionalizing election fraud. “Going it alone” means ramming through an overhaul of our system of government on a single-party basis after discarding the filibuster.

Schumer has been twisting the arms of Democrat senators who might not have the belly to betray their country for their party. Other senators will not need any arm-twisting.

A “senior Democratic aide” confides that Schumer has been meeting with several senators, including Senate Rules Committee Chairwoman Amy Klobuchar and filibuster reform advocate Jeff Merkley. They are having “earnest conversations with their colleagues about the need to get voting rights legislation passed immediately” — by hook or by crook.

Outside groups, and a growing number of Democratic senators, are pushing to create an exemption from the filibuster that would let voting rights legislation pass by a simple majority.

That way, Democrats don’t have to worry about the midterms bloodbath bearing down on them.

Joe Biden — a tool for the ultraleft with no principles whatsoever, no honor, and no loyalty to the Constitution or the United States — is unsurprisingly egging them on:

In a boost for reform advocates, Biden indicated during a CNN town hall last month that he was open to changing the filibuster for voting rights.

Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, possibly the only Americans left in the Democratic Party, can stop this. If they falter, we are headed for civil war.

If Democrats steamroll through the filibuster to seize control of elections with the obvious purpose of engineering the outcome, this will be blocked by the Supreme Court. Then Biden will pack the court with rubber stamps of the Merrick Garland stripe, as he has said he is willing to do.

At that point, it will become clear to everyone in America what the Second Amendment is all about.

Last year, President Joe Biden issued Executive Order 14019, “Promoting Access to Voting.” This directed every federal agency, agencies that are staffed through partisan appointments, to create a plan to register and mobilize voters. It also orders these agencies to work with organizations such as activist groups to register and mobilize voters in whatever manner they see fit. In doing so, the Biden administration has politicized election processes that were uniquely guarded as a nonpartisan since the ratification of the Constitution in 1788.

It is hard to say exactly what Biden’s handlers are up to. We do know that it is nefarious, or they would not be so furtive about it.

There are few details about what the relationship between the federal bureaucrats and state election administrators would look like or where any oversight would occur. And the president has been even more opaque about who will decide which third parties will be selected to participate in these registration and mobilization schemes. As a result, the Foundation for Government Accountability filed a Freedom of Information Act request in July 2021 to obtain various documents pertaining to the executive order.

Nine months later, the Biden administration has yet to provide any meaningful, substantive response or produce any documents that would fulfill the public records request. This is in direct violation of the Department of Justice’s 20-day FOIA response rules.

If you think Democrats are arrogant in their stonewalling now, wait until they have secured control of elections. As progressive founding father Joseph Stalin observed, it doesn’t matter who votes, so long as leftists count the votes.

The 2020 election smelled bad enough. We might need clothes pins for our noses to get through the next one:

Democrats in Washington, led by the president, have tried to maintain unnecessary pandemic-era election policies while creating frivolous new ones. Their efforts would do grave harm to the nation’s electoral process by expanding federal control over state voting norms. Using taxpayer funds to pay political activists to join with federal bureaucrats is an unprecedented seizure of power from voters.

Democrats have attempted to ram through laws that would reduce elections to farces, ensuring victory regardless of voter sentiment. Their efforts have failed thanks to the only two Democrat Senators who are squeamish about overthrowing our system of government.

What cannot be accomplished by legitimate means will be imposed insidiously, through a Deep State staffed by radical apparatchiks.

The National School Boards Association lobbied the federal government to have angry parents who speak out at schoolboard meetings about abusive mask mandates, antiwhite race hate, and boys in the girls’ bathroom classified as terrorists. Less than a week later, the Injustice Department grants their wish:

Without citing specific cases, in a memorandum issued on Monday, Merrick Garland expressed concern about a “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff who participate in the vital work of running our nation’s public schools.”

No specific cases are cited because there are no specific cases to cite. The harassment, intimidation, et cetera consist of nothing more than enraged parents raising their voices over what has been done to their children on their own tax dollar. There have been zero incidents of attacks on schoolboard members, much as some of them have done to incur public fury.

The point of this, as with the authoritarian overkill directed at the January 6 rioters, is to intimidate regular Americans into quietly submitting to what is being done to our country.

Garland announced his 30-day plan to combat the reported problem, which will include the FBI working with U.S attorneys across the country to discuss “strategies for addressing threats against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff, and will open dedicated lines of communication for threat reporting, assessment, and response.”

The message is clear. One more word out of a concerned mom who thinks she should have a say in how her children are educated and she might get the same treatment the January 6 “insurrectionists” have received.

The FBI now exists primarily to intimidate those who might put up resistance to the Democrat Party’s consolidation of absolute power. It is the reincarnation of the KGB.

Meanwhile, Biden himself effectively endorses an illegal alien’s harassment of a US Senator as she was using the bathroom. The law of the land is whatever helps drive the country further left at any given moment.

Not long ago, Democrats were enraged when their attempt to get the damp, ratlike totalitarian Merrick Garland onto the Supreme Court was stymied. They are committed to destroying the liberty America has always stood for, and are a more serious threat to it than any foreign enemy we have ever faced.
