A Small Man’s Sad Delusions of Grandeur

Barack Hussein Obama isn’t the only moonbat with an absurdly outsized ego. British anti–Second Amendment crusader Piers Morgan of nearly unwatched CNN beats his sunken chest and proclaims that he can “absolutely” compete with Bill O’Reilly. Meanwhile, back on planet earth, here are the latest cable news ratings via Drudge:

That would be you at the bottom, Piers.

Note that the two top-rated non-Fox news programs both run on the Comedy Channel. This gives an idea of why liberals are so appallingly disconnected from reality. But at least they aren’t watching Piers Morgan.

On a tip from Bob Roberts.

Fox, Disc, Fox, Fox, Fox, Fox, Comedy, Fox = Glimmer of hope. By the way, why to people waste their time watching Justin Bieber’s older brother(Rachel Maddow).
She is so liberated she proves it by shopping at the Men’s Warehouse—I guarentee it!

  2. JNN says:

Meant to say why do—little typo.

  3. Duke says:

O’Reilly is a fat, stupid, rude bag of crap, with a huge ego buried somewhere under the turds. When he has a guest on his show he should shut up so we can hear what the person has to say.

I contend that if you switched Bloviating Bill’s time slot with Greta the ratings would be vastly different. I sometimes jump to the FBN Channel and listen to Cavuto during Bill’s frequent, “hey everybody, look at me” moments.

  4. Bo-Jangles says:

Actually Duke, all the clowns on Fox have the same problem. Massive egos and a lust to hear only their own voices. They “constantly” interrupt and talk over their guests. This goes for Bill O’Buffoon, “i-love-me” Hannity, and the arrogant fat head, Cavuto. And, when was the last time you saw a female on the Fox Cartton Channel that (wasn’t) a blond? What’s up with that?

BTW, aside from the former CNN’ers they’ve hired, have you heard that “faux-conservative” Fox just hired Dennis (tin-foil hat) Kucinich, the left-wing moonbat as a “commentator?

Washington Post, January 16, 2013: Fox News hires Dennis Kucinich

“Dennis Kucinich, former congressman and icon of the anti-war left, has signed up as an analyst for Fox News. He will debut on “The O’Reilly Factor” Thursday night…”

  5. StanInTexas says:

So a post about Piers Morgan’s arrogance turns into some vindictive rant about Fox? Typical.

Here is some more information about Morgan’s abject hypocrisy…

This is yet another reason why those dish salesmen lined up at my door are not allowed in.

  7. Duke says:

Don’t get me wrong. I think it’s really telling that the bottom 8 shows are lefty-lib crap, with Morgan serving as the anchorman. I can’t stand watching any of these shows, and if I can’t find a show about trains or something on the RFD Channel, I’ll just hit the ‘off’ button and take a nap. The upshot is that the only shows worth discussing are the Fox shows.

I do wonder, however, how it is that Bill the Blowhard gets followed-up by second place, “Amish Mafia.” What the hell’s that all about?

And Kucinich get’s the mute button – I ain’t THAT fair and balanced!

  8. Tchhht!!! says:

If Kucinch getting a spot on Fox keeps him out of Washington State then I am all for it.

Morgan can go back from where he came except that I hear they don’t want him.

  9. Bo-Jangles says:

    Not vindictive Stan, just factual.

    A letter from a real American…

“I’m now 77 and have worked hard since I was nine when I started delivering newspapers followed by numerous part-time jobs. I entered the military upon turning 18 and remained constantly employed for the next 57 years. Given the current economy, it looks as though retirement at 75 was a bad idea, and I’m tired.

I’m tired of being told I have to spread the wealth to people who have no decent work ethic.

I’m tired of the government taking the money I’ve earned and giving it to those too lazy to earn it for themselves.

I’m tired of being told drug addicts have a disease and I must help support and treat them. Did a giant germ sneak up and jam white powder up their noses or stab their arm with a needle?

I’m tired of wealthy entertainers, politicians and athletes talking about making stupid youthful mistakes when really their only mistake was getting caught.

I’m tired of be being told Islam is a “religion of peace” when every day I read stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, daughters and/or wives for their family honor; of Muslims rioting over some minor offense; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of stoning teen age victims of rape to death for “adultery”.

I’m tried of being told I have to lower my standard of living to fight global warming which we are not permitted to debate.

I’m tired of seeing our youth be-deck themselves with multiple tattoos and/or piercings, thereby making themselves unemployable, then claiming money from the government.

I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

I’m tired of those who fail to take responsibility for their own actions, instead blaming the government for their problems, expecting someone else to solve them.

But despite all of the above I’m also glad to be in my late 70’s. Because, I won’t have to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my sons and their families. Thank God I’m on the way out and not on the way in…”

So, further verification that Piers is —

    Small caliber
    Immense bore
    Shooting blanks

…in other news, sun rises in East…

  12. BNN says:

Amazing that CNN ratings are so low!! CNN is on in almost every airport in America!!

  13. Maudie N Mandeville says:

‘Morgan’s show has been on air for two years, but it’s only in the past five weeks… that the CNN host is getting any real attention.’
Maybe announcing on-air suicide with a gun would make his ratings jump.
