Achievement Inequality and the Stolen Stole

When leftists denounce income inequality, what they are actually objecting to is achievement inequality. They can take heart that their cause has been advanced at a high school in the Dallas area:

National Honor Society (NHS) stoles are [a] frequent sight at high school graduation ceremonies around the country, but one Plano Senior High School student is frustrated that he won’t be allowed to wear one when he puts on his cap and gown next month.

According to school practices, students are not allowed to wear NHS regalia.

Garrett Frederick has been a National Honor Society member since his sophomore year, dedicating himself to maintaining a high GPA and performing community service hours.

“I’m not just an honor student — I’m an NHS student. I worked hard. I put in the hours,” Frederick said, explaining that he committed to 20 hours of community service every semester.

Apparently Garrett feels no shame whatsoever for making those who are less dedicated and industrious look bad by comparison. But educrats will not allow him to make a pageant of his incorrectness.

Garrett’s mother, who was not happy about him not being permitted to wear the white satin stole he had worked so hard to earn, discovered the egalitarian motive behind this small but highly emblematic act of oppression:

KellyAnn Frederick says a National Honor Society sponsor claimed school administrators want everyone to feel included in graduation and not single students out.

So that everyone feels “included,” competition for honors must be eradicated. That’s why the Wake County, North Carolina school board recently did away with class valedictorians and salutatorians.

Under oligarchical collectivism, we are grass on a golf course. The groundskeepers can’t allow individual blades to grow taller than the others. That would wreck the plan.

Forbidden at Plano Senior High School.

On tips from Lyle and Byron.

In a “Workers Paradise” all men are created equal – and are forced to STAY that way forever….

  2. Jack Bauer says:

    Yes….God forbid.

(sarc/on)Thank God we no longer promote any of those archaic qualities like excellence, nor any of its related attributes like diligence, effort, or determination. (sarc/off)

The socialist mob that runs public schools today want uniformity. All the extra money spent in schools today is aimed at the bottom, nothing at the top. Everyone is special. Everyone needs a special education plan. Everyone gets an award. Everyone graduates no matter how big a dumbass they happen to be. Kids like Garrett are a nuisance because they make the lazy, the apathetic, or less intelligent kids feel bad. Can’t have that! Self esteem is far more important!
(Could be why we have so many ignorant millennials today, who are so comfortably arrogant in their lack of knowledge about just about everything…..)

People like young Garrett here, are not to be held up as an example. Just the opposite in fact. After all, Garrett is probably one of those kids that is actually capable of critical thinking.

(sarc/on) We sure as hell don’t need any of THOSE! That sort of thing needs to be discouraged at any cost! Just get in line and learn to be obedient and love the government that gives you “free stuff”. (sarc/off)

Wear it anyway; make sure your parents are taking video, including close ups of people’s faces when the pointy heads physically prevent you from walking out to get your diploma. Blast that out on YouTube! Make sure everyone in your community knows who it is in the school district that wants their children to strive for mediocrity.

The only way to end this crap is to expose the progs to the scrutiny they try to hide from in their government school cocoons… pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

Public schools have really slipped as the liberal socialist party takes over. I want to live long enough to see them cower in fear. I used to just want to piss them off. But I now realize they are in a constant state of misery and anger. And they cannot feel happy or loved, so fear it is.

Awww, for the delicate flowers. Liberalism is a brain disorder.

  6. 762x51 says:

Easy fix, wear the Stole under his robe and when they hand him his diploma, slip the robe off and show the Stole.

The Progratds would rather see everyone wear a Participation Stole, since almost half of HS grads these days are functionally illiterate, how would they know what is written on the Stole?

  7. 762x51 says:

True, but it’s not congenital, its is a communicable disease and communicable diseases can be wiped out..

  8. 762x51 says:

Soon, very soon, you will have your wish. Unfortunately, a whole lot of people are going to die in the process. That conflagration is now inevitable, your primary obstacle will be to survive it long enough to achieve your goal.

Only about 25,000 American soldiers were killed in the Revolutionary War, a thousand times that will die to wrest freedom from the enemy this time around.

“Easy fix, wear the Stole under his robe & when they hand him his diploma, slip the rode off & show the Stole.”

There’s precedent for such, key part begins at 0:28:

Won’t make much difference during graduation. It’s after graduation, after college, when entering the job market that those GPA’s make impressions on the person that counts: The boss. The shlubs who are like a blood clot will be saying “You want fries with that” until the robotics takes that away too.

  11. KHarn says:

Here’s another plan for all who are not pointy-headed morons:
When the Dean calls your name, you should stand, toss your cap and gown on the floor and walk out.
After this happens a few times, the event will either be canceled, or become a farce for the others.

  12. KHarn says:

The “Weathermen” said that 25 million Americans needed to die. Adjusting for the increase in population brings it up to at least 31 million.

  13. KHarn says:

Compare Obama’s throws with the Mythbusters’ “Throws Like A Girl” experiment.
As girls get older, they tend to LEAN into the pitch, getting good accuracy. Obama throws like a LITTLE girl; and badly at that.

Also happening in Bryan, TX SPIT

  15. 762x51 says:

Yep, and I’m one of them because they cannot succeed while I live and can hold a weapon. The enemy is moving toward their endgame now.

Knowing what an enemy is going to do is usually fairly easy, knowing when they are going to do it is always hard. That said, I do expect to see them begin to mobilize fairly soon, whether that’s next month or next year I can’t say.

  16. Mr. Freemarket says:

The Branch Trumpidians will find your picture offensive. Trump’s “Workers’ Party” has nothing to do with the Workers’ Parties of past socialist glory.

He wants to make America great again.

  17. Mr. Freemarket says:

“Public Schools” are more correctly “Government Schools.” So many people seem confused.

  18. Number 6 says:

    Honor students should boycott graduation.

  19. 762x51 says:

I couldn’t get past the boos, too funny. Most ceremonial “First Pitch” throws are just throws. For that asswagon to come set and go into a wind up then miss by 12 feet is an epic fail. Pretty much sums up his whole presidency, all wind up, no delivery. I like it.

  20. 762x51 says:

Little girls everywhere are offended by your statement.

  21. Rock ThisTown says:

Well, the relevant part to the Garrett Frederick story is Zero keeping the Sox hat hidden until he gets on the mound, then reveals it with a smirk like he’s just oh-so-super clever & cute . . . at a Nationals game.

As you suggest, Frederick should keep his NHS stole concealed until he gets his diploma, then reveal it with a grand MC Hammer now you-can’t-touch-this smirk, ala Zero.

Zero throwing like a girl 12 feet off the mark, yes, pretty much sums this epic fail of a lying, America-hating, reverse-Midas touch Presidency.
