Al Franken Joins the Sexual Abuser Bandwagon

Prominent Republicans like Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, and the predictable John McCain have made ears ring with their shrill proclamations that Roy Moore is unfit to be a Senator. They might be right. But what about current Senator and former professional clown Al Franken?

Franken (D., Minn.) has apologized after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman and later groping her while she was asleep in 2006, although he said he did not remember all of the events “in the same way.”

KABC anchor Leeann Tweeden posted her story on the radio station’s website on Thursday, writing that Franken aggressively kissed her without consent during a rehearsal for a skit for troops during a USO tour in the Middle East, which Franken headlined.

Unsurprisingly, the experience left her feeling “disgusted and violated.”

She also included a photograph of a smiling Franken grabbing her breasts while she slept on the flight home from the tour.

The photographic evidence is far more damning than the possibly forged autograph in Beverly Young Nelson’s yearbook. Yet I doubt this story will raise the ire of McConnell, Ryan, McCain, et al., because Franken is a far-left Democrat.

Zero Hedge: In Bizarre Twist, Al Franken Calls For Ethics Investigation Of Himself

“While I don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit as Leeann does, I understand why we need to listen to and believe women’s experiences.” […] “I am asking that an ethics investigation be undertaken, and I will gladly cooperate.” […] “And the truth is, what people think of me in light of this is far less important than what people think of women who continue to come forward to tell their stories. They deserve to be heard, and believed. And they deserve to know that I am their ally and supporter. I have let them down and am committed to making it up to them.”

How much of that $15 Mil in our tax money did McConnell pay to other Franken victims ?

He may think so, but in reality he’s a very inferior POS and a crappy comedian too.

I’m going with Judge Moore for no other reason than the timing of the allegations. It maybe Soros money that funded the opposition research, but it was the WaPo, owned by that billionaire Bezos that published it, and Bezos can go suck a frog.

How dare do the swamp creatures criticize Moore when there’s scum sitting amongst them?

The only shocking revelation here is the fact that he’s not gay!!

I have been straddling the fence, though on top of the factors you cite and others, the first word that pops into my head when I seen Gloria Allred involved in anything “shenanigans.” For those of us who don’t live in Alabama, we have the luxury of waiting to form a strong opinion.

Franken is protected by the Teddy Kennedy Provision. Democruds can do anything they like with impunity, including drown staffers pregnant with their spawn.
