American Indian Studies Lecturer Reveals That Motorcycle Culture Was Appropriated from Native Americans

The California Department of Justice has found that American Indian Studies Lecturer Oscar “Ozzie” Monge of San Diego State University discriminated against white student Crystal Sudano, punishing her for challenging his Master’s thesis.

According to his thesis, the school’s Aztec mascot is cultural appropriation, and therefore forbidden to whites. So is the expression, “low on the totem pole,” and more:

The Daily Aztec reports that Sudano enrolled in Monge’s spring 2017 class, and that within the first week of class, Monge had accosted her for wearing braids and a neck sleeve up to her ears.

“Glad you chose to remove your bandana and braids,” he messaged her.

When she explained it was to keep herself warm and keep her hair from flying in the wind because she had ridden her motorcycle to campus, he accused her of cultural appropriation, saying motorcycle culture was appropriated from Native Americans.

Skeptics are referred to Indian Motorcycle.

Sudano, infuriated by Monge’s Facebook messages, began fact-checking his thesis.

When he found out, he threatened to lower her grade and badmouthed her to other students, resulting in her ostracization.

In a written statement to the investigator, Monge wrote that “it is quite easy to argue that ‘whiteness’ is synonymous with evil.”

The report concluded that “Monge uses ‘white’ whenever he wishes to explain someone who has done something wrong, or bad.”

One wrong thing that white people do is waste their time taking victim studies classes. Another is financing these classes whether they take them or not.

If I use chop sticks when I am eating at a Chinese restraint am I guilty of cultural miss appropriation??

  2. Jester says:

Indians aren’t evil, but they sure are fast 😀

  3. Mike_W20 says:

Probably; and that’s why you’ll be chundering your guts out, all night long.

  4. ICEvictim says:

apparently this idiot is so “educated” he does not realize it was white men (Spaniards) who brought the modern horse to the Americas. So indians appropriated the white man’s use of the horse, not the other way around. Duh. But then why am I not surprised?

  5. MAS says:

The indians didn’t even know what a wheel was until mostly white Europeans brought them to the continent. Being nutty doesn’t reduce your danger factor and loons like this creep are going to bring us to a race war we don’t want and they won’t win…

  6. KHarn says:

Also iron working, guns, distillation, jeans, hats, and who knows what else.

  7. ICEvictim says:

he should be forced to crap in the weeds and wipe himself with leaves

  8. MAS says:

Therapeutic tissue (toilet paper) another white European invention…

  9. apeiron says:

No, the people who get triggered by tweets and need to wrap their fragile ideology in the bubble wrap of political correctness should not want a hot war with middle America.

  10. ICEvictim says:

    along with the flush toilet

  11. Franklyfrank says:

It’s only easy to argue that whiteness is synonymous with evil if you are a racist yourself.

  12. MAS says:

Maybe the cleaning out of the weaklings would be worth the pain. Sooner or later human sin nature will raise its ugly head and these nirvana seekers will find out how hot nirvana actually is…

  13. JackisBack says:

If you look up Tonto’s picture he looks half-white. So like Obama, this half breed hates his white half and wishes he could rip it from his being.

I was just going to mention the wheel issue.

  15. Otis Donkey says:

And here i thought appropriation was the sincerest form of flattery.

  16. Otis Donkey says:

They didnt’ have horses either til the Spaniards imported them.

OOps there goes that noble savage imagery.

The next time I hear some scream “cultural appropriation” this is how I will respond:

Speaking English is cultural appropriation of English culture. If you are Black, Asian or Native American, STOP SPEAKING ENGLISH. Oh and so is using a toilet, indoor plumbing, using a car, using a railroad, paving roads. STOP USING THEM!

  18. WMD says:

That was a great movie. I got to see it in the theater when it came out.
Burt Munro was a mechanical genius, imagine what he could have done with todays technology.

  19. cieran58 says:

Using “todays tech” kind of misses the point. There were far faster, more sophisticated, motorcycles in 1967, but Burt’s genius (and 20 year odyssey) was to take what he had–a 1920 Indian) and modify and tweak it until he achieved a world speed record that still stands today–truly the Worlds Fastest Indian.

  20. WMD says:

Completely agree. Some could argue that he modified it so much it ceased to be an Indian. And just to clarify what I meant by “tech” was not so much computers but metalurgy and the like. He was casting his own pistons and cylinders.
Remember “Offerings to the Gods of speed” !!
    Offerings indeed.

  21. George Lortz says:

What about all the black women that have straight, ‘white’ hair styles ? Is that not cultural appropriation ?

  22. glamdeluxe says:

Well the Indian horse culture was spawned by the Spanish introduction of the Horse to the American tribes. The Pueblo uprising in the 1600 created the southwestern mustang.

  23. glamdeluxe says:

Baseball, Basketball, American football, Brass and stringed musical instruments. Electric microphones and public address systems, computers and software.
