Anti-Gun Senator Thanks CNN for Its Support

Almost as phony as the pro-Second Amendment sentiments expressed by gun-grabbing moonbat Joe Manchin when he was running for the Senate in gun-friendly West Virginia is the increasingly laughable pretense that the “mainstream” media serves any purpose other than to advance statist political objectives — as Manchin himself confirms:

[CNN propagandist John] Berman: Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia, you’ve been working around the clock for a compromise deal [to get liberal Republicans on board for a law restricting gun rights]. I think you have a very busy few weeks ahead of you still.

Manchin: We appreciate your support, too, this is very, very important.

It sure is important. Liberals would never be able to manipulate Americans into submitting to their authoritarian agenda without steady, constant brainwashing by the establishment media.

joe manchin
The Second Amendment is within Manchin’s reach.

On a tip from G. Fox.

If CNN has been tuned in on my TV in the last 10 years it was by accident.

I don’t watch the worthless communist bastards.

  2. blue says:

President Obama has ordered more drone strikes than all other Nobel Peace Prize winners combined.

  3. Skyfall says:

Those Repub Congressmen who are going along with this are going to face the wrath of gun owners nation-wide.

F-ing sell outs! “Ohhhh, we might not be popular with everyone if we don’t cave in and look like we’re real caring and sensitive.”

They are going to force legal, law abiding Americans into a corner and turn them into “insurgents”. When that happens, all these progressives better find religion fast, because the tide will turn…and quickly!

  4. Skyfall says:

By “going along with this”, I meant the background check (i.e. database of legal gun owners) B.S.

  5. Pegon Zellschmidt says:

Confiscation is not the ultimate aim; Selective confiscation is. As in

‘Pursuant to ยง 4, paragraph 2, of the ordinance the Special Commissar of the Highest SA Leader may exempt members of the SA, SS, and Stahlhelm units (Nazi paramilitary at that time)… by confidential order to the pertinent leaders of those units/associations. Further, upon request, the Special Commissar may allow reliable persons to keep a rifle together with the necessary ammunition for the protection of house and farm. The same applies to army revolvers that are the personal property of the owner. Only such persons can be considered reliable from whom a loyal attitude toward the national government can be expected.’

  7. if voting changed anything it would be illegal says:

It is easily within reach with the help of RINO traitors.

  8. Laurie says:

VP Joke Biden recently asked this question: “What are we doing to impact on a gun owners’ right if he only has a clip with ten rounds in it instead of 30 rounds in it?””

I have the answer: we need at least 30 rounds to deal with the packs of (at minimum) 200 “teens” who’ve been rampaging throughout major cities lately.

Maybe Joke BiteMe has Secret Service protection, but we don’t. We need serious firepower to take on the “teens” and “young people” who are out causing “mischief”.

Trust a Democrap and this is what you get.

  11. Jimbo says:

That vox-pox thing is WAY out of touch. Must be a San Francisco Tenderloin homo. Sorry there, fox-puss – you are an idiot.

  12. Mr Evilwrench says:

Oh, Vox, are you seriously going to use the results of a survey to argue your side? What were the questions? What was the sample size? Did those answering the survey truly understand the implications of a universal background check? Would they be ok with universal registration? Even if they understood that could lead to confiscation? Would they understand that universal background checks would necessarily lead to universal registration?

Your first level thinking is so inadequate for third level issues.

  13. KHarn says:

A few questions for anti-self defense people (Like VOX):

1: Why do you favor laws that disarm people who never committed a crime?
2: Why do you believe that criminals and the violently insane will obey THIS law?
3: Since you seem to believe that the PRESENT laws are ineffective, do you favor ABOLISHING them in favor of this new law?
4: If it is your belief that the presence of guns is in itself dangerous, do you favor MINIMISING or ELIMINATING the security teams for the president of the U.S.?
5: Define the phrase “assault weapon” using technical terms. Explain how it differs from an “assault rifle”.
6: Have you ever tried to buy a machinegun, or a firearm of any kind?
7: Why do you to want to regulate an object rather than the MISUSE of said object?
8: Why don’t you advocate for laws against MURDER?
9: (For politicians or any other “elitist”) Is your bodyguard(s) carrying a gun?

  14. Laurie says:

I have one more question for VOX (following up oh KHarn’s questions):

If it’s your belief that the presence of guns is in itself dangerous, why are you not outside the White House screaming at the top of your lungs that Obama should remove the armed guards from his kids’ school and replacing them with a much safer “gun free zone”?
