AOC Admits to Objective of Impeachment Farce

Not even the Future of the Democrat Party, socialist congresscritter Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is too dumb to understand what the tedious impeachment farce is all about. However, like Al Green, she is dumb enough to admit the point of it in public.

Via Daily Wire:

“At the end of the day, we have to be able to come together as a caucus and if it is this Ukrainian allegation that is what brings the caucus together, um, then I think we have to run with however we unify the House,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“We also need to move quite quickly because we’re talking about the potential compromise of the 2020 elections,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “And so this is not just about something that has occurred; this is about preventing a potentially disastrous outcome from occurring next year.”

In other words, they are not trying to remove Trump from office. They have no grounds for that, there is no chance the Senate will vote to remove him, and he is up for reelection in less than a year anyway. The point is to unite the Democrat Party and to prevent him from being reelected. It is an election stunt pulled for purely partisan purposes, with no legitimacy whatsoever. You probably already knew that, but now we have it straight from the horse’s mouth (so to speak).

Still dumber than making this admission is her assumption that no one would burst out laughing when she accused Republicans of making “a spectacle and a circus” out of the spectacle and circus that is the impeachment farce — even sanctimoniously accusing Republicans of turning the 100% partisan production into a “partisan issue.”

But at least AOC isn’t quite as dumb as fellow Squad member Ayanna Pressley, who apparently believes that the wicked USA has one-quarter of the world population (i.e., 1,915,000,000 people) “locked away in cages.”

[…] After the “What about Mike Pence?” stumper, another follow-up question for any moonbats who haven’t already been reduced to stuttering gibberish might be, “What long-term effect might it have on the stability of our constitutional republic if irresponsible politicians impeach the president without valid grounds merely as an election tactic?” […]
