Apple Censors Taiwanese Flag for ChiComs

The NBA isn’t the only pillar of the liberal establishment to bow before communists at the expense of Chinese who want to breathe free. Let’s not forget Apple, which banned an app because it proved useful to pro-Democracy protesters in Hong Kong, and which has now banned the emoji for the Taiwanese flag in Hong Kong and Macau:

Quartz reports that Apple has blocked the Taiwan flag emoji in mainland China since 2017. Google, Microsoft, and ByteDance have also assisted the ChiComs in censorship efforts.

In the Chinese context, the Taiwanese flag means the same thing as the American flag: freedom from communist oppression.

Erasing Taiwan in a less metaphorical sense has been part of the game plan behind the Bamboo Curtain for decades. This will happen when the ChiCommies think Americans don’t have the will to do anything about it. Apple isn’t helping.

On a tip from Lyle.
