Assaulted for Wearing MAGA Hat

Careful wearing a MAGA hat in public. They tend to set off liberal tolerance, which it is unsafe to get on the wrong side of:

Jonathan Sparks told KVOA he was walking through downtown Tucson the Saturday before Election Day to encourage people to vote for Republicans.

He was wearing a MAGA hat, which in a moonbat-infested town like Tucson is like waving a red flag in a stockyard.

He said he felt somebody from behind grab him by his hat and hair.

The assailant jumped on his ankle from behind, breaking it.

“Then, I heard the words ‘Hitler,’ ‘Nazi’ and ‘Trump.’ He was shouting things like that,” he continued. “He came over the top of me and over and over again, he hit me.”

Police arrested Daniel Zaroes Brito on robbery charges, presumably for stealing the hat. Aggravated assault charges ought to follow.

Stealing MAGA hats is SOP for moonbats. Last year, an SJW at UC Riverside was recorded not only refusing to return a stolen hat but attempting to turn in the owner to Student Life for the thought crime of wearing it, all the while spewing obscenities and moonbattery.

Earlier this year, Kino Jimenez was charged with felony theft after swiping a MAGA hat from a teenager in a San Antonio Whataburger. He also threw a drink in the kid’s face. But at least Jimenez refrained from fracturing his ankle.

“I think that intolerance to [Trump’s] ideology was the flame,” Sparks said.

Sparks with his hat was the spark that set it off.

Good thing he probably doesn’t work for NBC. He would be fired for wearing the hat.

Imagine the roles reversed. If Sparks were a minority attacked for supporting a Democrat, he would be a national celebrity by now. As it is, coverage of this incident has been minimal.

On a tip from TCS III.
