Australian Police Hunt Down Campers in Remote Areas for Not Social Distancing

Wuhan virus hysteria may terrify some people enough to make them want to go camping out in the wilderness so as to get away from the disease. They had better not do that in Australia though. The government will hunt them down with helicopters and command them to return home. Camping in the isolation of the wilderness is a violation of social distancing dictates:

Via the Advocate:

Around the state, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter landed near campsites which were viewed from the air, and where they could not land, officers on the ground attended and directed campers to return home.

This makes as much sense as any of Gauleiter Gretchen’s lunatic prohibitions.

Again we see that the main point of the lockdown is the lockdown. Government power is an end in itself.

On a tip from Lyle.
