Big Government Confiscates Hotel on Behalf of Colonists in Ficarolo, Italy

This is what happens when private property rights come up against the campaign by Europe’s rulers to displace the native population with welfare colonists from the most savage parts of the Third World:

The hotel owner Luigi Sheets is to be paid €7 per day per colonist. He wouldn’t agree to that, so force was required. It’s doubtful he can make a profit at that rate, and regular customers will be driven away, but that’s his problem. When he goes bankrupt, he can go on welfare like his unwelcome guests.

Vlad Tepes asks, “Remember when police were paid by your taxes to protect you and your property?”

That is the most fundamental purpose of government. To the extent your property is confiscated rather than defended, you are not dealing with a legitimate government, but with a gang of thugs.

On a tip from Dragon’s Lair.

He owns a hotel. He must be rich.

  2. Vic Kelley says:

I’ll make do with the article and thread comments. I can’t watch the video. How did Italy get infected with this malarkey? Burn the hotel to the ground, Luigi.

  3. DM says:

Hope that is sarcasm. By the looks of the hotel he is just getting by. This will ruin him.

You guys here at Moonbattery did everything in your power to stop Trump, even though he’s the only one willing to take a stand against against invaders such as those illustrated here. Yet you print this article about government’s duty to defend us. Can’t have it both ways, Moonbattery.

  6. Bodhisattva says:

    I would hope that those here are aware of KELO V. NEW LONDON (04-108) 545 U.S. 469 (2005) ; 268 Conn. 1, 843 A. 2d 500

In case they say “It Can’t Happen Here”, yes, it can.

    It did.

    It may well again.

  7. Bodhisattva says:

First, your claim “You guys” is wrong because there was an obvious and sometimes bitter divide over the fact that some people were so obviously and unreasonably (IMHO) against Trump.

Now the thread’s owner did go a wee bit too far sometimes, but he went even further against Hillary Clinton, and justifiably so, because (IMHO) she was the worst choice. Trump had a lot of baggage too.

I’m actually somewhat pleased with his statements and actions since the election, so far at least. They give me hope my own misgivings were perhaps ill founded.

This article goes beyond the simple concept of Government having a duty to defend us. We agree to government so that we can go about our business without fear that someone will steal all our stuff, even our property, while we’re doing it. This article is about government stealing the property. Government doing the opposite of what it was created to do.

This article is timely and important, for it sums up what happened during 8 years of Obama and what would go on during 4 years of Clinton. Reluctantly I add that it is possible it may also touch on what might happen under Trump. We shall see.

  8. Bodhisattva says:

I’m sure it was sarcasm… the point being the liberals felt that since he was rich his property was fair game for confiscation. But once all the job and income producing property is confiscated, where do the tax revenues come from? Liberals never think this through. Once all the jobs are destroyed and everyone is on the dole, where does the money come from?

Liberals have been saying that everyone should be paid a wage by the government. Nobody should have to work. They should be allowed to do whatever they want. They’re actually doing an experiment on this right now – about half the country is on government support and basically does drugs (illegal ones, alcohol, etc.) and they only get up to demonstrate about how unfair the world is and how Republicans are the reason. You’ve seen them. Occupy. That was them. Those camping out in Cannonball, ND protesting the DAPL. That’s them. And those protesting the election, as if their silly protests are going to make a difference. That’s them.

With due respect, I have two differences in opinion (just for the record):

#1. “the thread’s owner did go a wee bit too far sometimes” – that sounds like and understatement to me (see below).

#2. “he went even further against Hillary Clinton” – I don’t find that to be the case. I’ll refer you to these lists of Moonbattery articles from August that refer to either Trump or Hillary. You can see that there were more and severer articles about Trump than Hillary. Many, if not most, were referred by Torcer:

So,tell us, what do you do when you are not compiling and tallying statistics? You sound more and more like a DoJ thought monitor with each passing day.

In case you missed the central thesis, Trump is not, has never been, nor will he ever be conservative. He is not a Republican and has never been a Republican.

It is a moot point that the enemy won the popular vote but the Electoral College preserved democracy. Some have said as much about W and look how he turned out. His best recommendation was Gore and then Comrade Fonda-Kerry.

Hitlery was set to import those savages here and drop them on wherever the most white people/Conservatives live – you know.. for the demographics.. It’s their big thing now.. they have figured out that they can rule forever when imposed “diversity” divides the ones they wish to rule and control.

THAT has been narrowly avoided for the next four years.

I don’t care WHAT party purity Trump has or doesn’t have.

That is the real job of the government. Not all that fancy other stuff.

I’m sorry…are you insulting my thoroughness? Have you witnessed the demand for proof of everything around here? No? Sounds like you are using a liberal shaming tactic they use when they lose an argument to me.

I think it was you who missed the point, as this was about a difference in opinion with Bodhisattva about how Trump and Hillary were reported on this site, so you can save your lecture.

And I hate to tell you this, but your claims that “he is not a Republican” is in direct conflict with the facts. If you want to say he is “not republican enough” for you, then so be it.

  20. NotKennedy says:

    Such a delicate exposition.

Trump is neither a Republican nor a conservative. Your advocacy for him has yet to be vindicated. His best recommendation remains Hillary Rodham-Clinton.

“not republican enough”? I am not a Republican, I am a conservative.

Ah well, to RINOs, every cola is a Coke.

  21. NotKennedy says:

Haha, well yeah, it does seem creepy and obsessive. One man’s neuroses is another man’s raison d’etre.

  22. KirklesWorth says:

I don’t know where you get your “definitions”. What are the requirements of being a republican? You say you are. And you remain one until you decide otherwise, questions about your party fealty notwithstanding. Ronald Reagan said “I didn’t leave the democratic party, the party left me” and PRESTO! – he becomes a republican. Was there an entry exam or a loyalty pledge?

My advocacy is for the president-elect of the United States, so pardon me if I show a little loyalty to him and the 59 million Americans who voted him in. How did your candidate do?

And to CINOs, it’s okay to risk a Hillary presidency “on principle”.

  23. NotKennedy says:

Now that is a media outlet I’ve always depended on when humor was in short supply.

  24. KirklesWorth says:

What’s so “creepy and obsessive” when you are a computer programmer? Couldn’t news and comic floods be considered just as “creepy and obsessive”? Couldn’t judging things “creepy and obsessive” be “creepy and obsessive”? People seem quick to attribute negative characteristics to things and people they may not understand. When you have the facts, it seems disingenuous to be criticized how they were obtained – as though it were witchcraft or hours of work or something.

  25. NotKennedy says:

Reagan was as Democrats used to be. That swapping of party names has more history than RR but you go ahead and bandy “president -elect” about as freely the socialists when they celebrated Obama’s mandate.

Jim Jeffords was a fine Republican until, PRESTO! Arlen Specter? Ghosts of the past, just like RR. Too bad Trump will not have the authority to order the striking O’hare horde to honor their duty. Reagan’s crowning moment was firing the ATC and crushing that union.

Bush 41! Who did he spend election eve with?

Pardon you? Haha. Sure, what the hell, have a good one!

  26. EVERYDAY PRESIDENT ☆ ᵀᴿᵁᴹᴾ says:

So what do we do? McCUCKnell doesn’t want to even allow a vote on term limits. Hatch mclame and Grahamnesty don’t want to change the filibuster rule.. we’re stuck with some very nasty senators who are intent on blocking any attempt at reform.

  27. EVERYDAY PRESIDENT ☆ ᵀᴿᵁᴹᴾ says:

Who are these hollyweird actors interfering in the affairs of independent sovereign nations? Something has one terribly wrong here..

  28. KirklesWorth says:

There’s only so much lecturing I’m going to take from somebody badmouthing me, the republican president-elect, 59 million patriotic and heroic voters who saved the country from Hillary, or our country in general – even if he is a veteran. It’s no wonder you defend 762×51 – you make accusations and inferences as ignorant as he does. 762×51 doesn’t know what a progressive is and you don’t know what a republican is.

So go ahead and wallow in your conservative-ideology-self-pity, I know you so-called “conservative” anti-Trumpers lost the election twice. But fortunately the collective sanity of 59 million patriotic and heroic voters saved us from tyranny known as Hillary that the so-called “conservative” anti-Trumpers were willing to throw the election for.

  29. NotKennedy says:

Haha! You will take as much lecturing as I generously provide, even in your contumacious moments of indignation.

Casting a ballot does not meet any standard of patriotism or heroism, just look at the cast of millions that carried Hillary’s water. In fact, in many states you don’t even have to be alive, let alone be a citizen.

When you have enough time to overcome yourself, reflect on who the GOP has foisted against America and then tell us what you think about thrown elections. Were it not for the malevolence of the media, along with the Clintons’ collective malfeasances, Trump could never have been palmed off as a Republican.

Boehner, Ryan, McConnell? The GOP and the RNC do not represent America. Who has Trump brought in for his chief of staff?

Wallow in that shallow loyalty, all you want. To my view, the best part of the outcome was the creation of a place-holder.

For the interim, the appointments, short of Priebus, are encouraging. It would be rewarding to see Cruz in a judicial robe.

“…you so-called “conservative” anti-Trumpers lost the election twice (or three times)”.

  30. Fiberal says:

Creepy and obsessive? WHoa.. Now how long have you been posting 20+ articles a day on MB? If you’re not being paid by Dave, I think you may have an obsession.

Or at least a lot of time on your hands.

Kirklesworth did a fine job posting a graphic illustration of Torcers’ systematic attacks on Trump. Keeping counts using key words is a simple job for a programmer. And not for anything, but even if KirklesWorth had an obsession with documentation, he shut down Torcer’s “where’s your data? where’s your data?” operation for a thread or two.

    That was worth seeing.

BTW, you may have read some of what the poster following me around for a time, who was repeatedly demanding hard numbers on the national covert cheating activities of the Clinton machine. The guy had no clue as to the math he was criticizing.

I think his responses to me along with the twitter-nature of discussion that MB has devolved into over the last few years, more than illustrates both the desperate need for some quantitative thinking around here and the good work done by Kirklesworth.

  31. KirklesWorth says:

Of course you will tell me what I will do like a good fascist. But please, lecture away! Let’s begin!

Haha! You will take as much lecturing as I generously provide, even in your contumacious moments of indignation.

Sure, I’ll take your lecturing, but who would take the advice of a losing so-called “conservative” anti-Trump republican party deserter willing to risk a Hillary presidency?

Casting a ballot does not meet any standard of patriotism or heroism, just look at the cast of millions that carried Hillary’s water. In fact, in many states you don’t even have to be alive, let alone be a citizen.

Reading comprehension, huh? I called 59 million voters that saved you from Hillary patriots and heroes. Got a problem with that? I said nothing about the 59 million voters for Hillary who you would have been fine with.

When you have enough time to overcome yourself, reflect on who the GOP has foisted against America and then tell us what you think about thrown elections. Were it not for the malevolence of the media, along with the Clintons’ collective malfeasances, Trump could never been palmed off as a Republican.

The arrogance of questioning my republican bona fides when you won’t “reflect” on how you would have permitted Hillary to win is laughable. And blaming the media for Trump winning is hilarious. All-or-nothing conservativism always ends up with nothing.

Wallow in that shallow loyalty, all you want. To my view, the best part of the outcome was the creation of a place-holder.

And once again, you arrogantly insult loyalty – since you obviously have little regards for it. You obviously didn’t display any loyalty to the republican party, so lecturing anyone on what a republican is is laughable. You are an outsider attempting to impose your beliefs on a group you don’t belong to.

“…you so-called “conservative” anti-Trumpers lost the election twice (or three times)”.

You’ve got nothing left except insults, eh? You didn’t get Cruz like you wanted, you didn’t get Trump like you wanted, and you didn’t get Hillary like you wanted – that’s a three time loser. I could go back to Romney and McCain, but that was years ago.

  32. Fiberal says:

So what’s the problem with compiling stats?

Unless they came from made-up polls, I thought liberals were the ones with allergies to stats.

Some of us were dealing with never-trumpers who routinely ignored policy and attacked with paranoid arguments, short-sightedness, their own phony “principles”, anecdotes, personal feelings, ad hominem and an unfathomably weird desire to see Cowliary in the WH.

After Kirklesworth posted his anti-trump data, Torcer went all castrada. So it seems to me that a little quantification might go a long way here on MB.

It certainly beats getting down in the dirt with the never-trump irrationalistas.

No. Trump is a republican. By dint of his registration and representation of the Republican party as President-elect of the U.S.

Besides, you make a reasonable argument for Trump. That would be the Bushes. HW gave us W and W gave us BO.

Trump if he does just one thing right– somewhere— will be a better president than the profoundly-perplexed W, who republicans voted in twice; or almost certainly better than W’s intermittently-disoriented father.

Hard to imagine anyone calling themselves a republican could get worse than that out of tune, father-like-son duo.

  33. NotKennedy says:

Entry for summary judgment, I rest my case. You have been lectured to, again, and yet remain an uninspired, platitudinizing barker with one theme, neverTrump.

Trump is yours, own it. I voted against Hillary but had nothing in it for Trump. Given that I am in Massachusetts, I could have not bothered to vote, the outcome is always the same.

These people, like you, thought that Romney was a Republican. By liberal standards, he may have appeared that way.

Yes, it will behoove you to go back to Romney and McCain because it was Republicans, as yourself, who endorsed them.

Trump was the candidate created by MSM, the GOP did nothing for him. That is what they are going to do for you. Nothing.

  34. KirklesWorth says:

I see, so you are vote-tosser. That’s fine – certainly better than voting for Hillary although you, as you said, arrived at the same outcome as though you hadn’t voted at all. But if your intelligence didn’t tell you that Gary Johnson, or Darryl Castle, or whomever was a throw-away vote, you get points on idealism but not on pragmatism.

So you lost three times in this fashion: Cruz, your third party, and got Trump. At least the analysis still stands.

Trump is yours as well – didn’t you know he will be your president? The conservatives’ inability to provide a more acceptable candidate is just as blameworthy. If Cruz hadn’t have been eliminated, we wouldn’t be having this conversation because I would have been loyal to the party (and to the country) – contrary to you.

Don’t bother putting words in my mouth. You don’t know squat about what I think. But I suppose that you didn’t vote for Romney either? If not, are republicans supposed care about what you think?

However you tell yourself Trump was created, he represents the will of the people. Got a problem with that? Are conservatives supposed to want the government to do things for them? You’ve insulted the republicans and then said the GOP did nothing for him – isn’t that a good sign that it’s not business-as-usual? Then again, you knew you weren’t helping to defeat Hillary by voting third party so…

  35. JoeK says:

Golly! It’s a real shame that all you anti-Trumpers here at M.B. weren’t able to sabotage Trump’s campaign enough to get your preferred candidate, Hellery, into office! Now I just don’t know if we’ll ever be able to see this kind of bullshat here in America!! You guys must be so fretful now!!

  36. NotKennedy says:

    What does castrada mean?

Other than Hillary, Trump’s other recommendation is that he has never been a beltway insider or held elected office. He doesn’t deal well with being obligated or beholden to others and, as well as I am aware, owes nobody in Congress a damned thing.

Moreover, he is 70 years old, does not need the money and will almost certainly be a one term deal. It was a contest, a prize, a competition and he won. Winning was the reward. That IS the way he rolls, he’s not a politician, that’s a good start. Appointing outside people to the cabinet, even conservatives, will make his administration a lot better–unless it backfires and ends up like Carter!

The federal workforce is a blue as you will find, they will almost certainly do all they can to thwart the incoming administration, maybe Trump will find a way to tell them that they are fired. Haha, outsource the government to the states? What a unique approach, I wonder if anyone ever thought of that, before. /sarc

Whereas, Jeb would have obligated himself to anyone, except conservatives. Like Kirkleworth, he has no need for conservatives. Romney made a similar disposition. It’s all about the deal.

Reading KW is like listening to sportscasters. I guess. I haven’t done that in a long time.

This is Dave Blount’s website. I generally agree with everything he agrees with.

  37. NotKennedy says:

“You’ve insulted the republicans and then said the GOP did nothing for him”

It was the least I could do.

Gotta wonder why Hillary ever deferred to Obama. I did not vote for Romney, I voted against Obama. That is what happens with almost all of the Republican candidates, Americans vote against socialist liberal democrats.

People misconstrue ballots of opposition as though they were an affirmation of the alternative. Parsing between poor choices results in a poor choice.

The RNC went into self-preservation and salvage mode. They needed Trump more than he needed them.

Friends close, enemies closer? There could be a reason why Priebus is currently situated. I hope Trump throws him, and the rest of the RINOs, under the bus.

FWIW, I also voted for Scott Brown to fill Dead Ted’s defiled senate seat. Look at what he did. The first person he sought out was John Kerry. Scott Brown made Obamacare possible. Scott Brown is a Republican.

Castradas were castrated male opera singers. They were men without testosterone and had uniquely female-sounding voices. They grew tall and ungainly and had short lives. I assume they were probably products of intentional maiming for money; long after the last of the Spanish Comprachios.

Think Jon Anderson, the singer in the group Yes. That kind of voice. There are actually some extant wax cylinder recordings of castradas.

I also generally agree with Blount. But in this case, he and his fellow travelers almost put Cowliary in the WH…. for absolutely nothing but hubris.

  55. Bodhisattva says:

Settle down now. I post WAY more than many here, possibly anyone. It’s an outlet. Particularly after I drink coffee. Since I don’t drink it often it has an enhanced effect on me.

I don’t have any problem with what Kirklesworth did. I know that my posting has raised some hackles and I tried to make it clear that my opinion was that while AT FIRST GLANCE some might say it seems “creepy and obsessive”, actually it shows a diligence of the sort that meticulously supports a proposition or claim – in other words, I’m impressed.

Maybe I didn’t make that clear enough.

You guys need to find a way to bury the hatchet between the Trump supporters and the #NeverTrump crowd. I will say as an opening suggestion that at least, for the most part, the #NeverTrump crowd is not whining and demonstrating and refusing to accept the outcome of the election. They seem, at least for the most part, to be willing, now that he was elected, to give Trump a chance to show us whether it was the right choice or the wrong one.

And to me that goes a long way towards mending the fences. There were a lot of harsh words from a lot of people that really were not necessary and should not have been said. I’m not interested in rehashing it, I’m just saying “Can’t we all just get along.” Hillary lost. And nobody but Trump had a chance to beat her. As long as the concerns that Trump is actually worse turn out to be false (and so far I haven’t seen any indication he could possibly be even near as bad) we dodged a real bullet here and I think it’s best we just do what we can to forgive, forget and move forward.

So, in closing, I repeat – I was not criticizing Kirklesworth, but actually praising him. He did a good job of showing me ONE example that supported his contention. I don’t know that it makes it universal, but I’m not going to dwell on the matter. My point was that I saw both anti-Trump and anti-Hillary from the thread owner and I got the impression (apparently wrong, though I’ve not bothered to do the analysis Kirklesworth apparently has) to support my conclusion. And now it’s academic, moot, irrelevant.

Perhaps the first moves are to choose new leaders for the House and Senate. Leaders bold enough to get some things done, to crack the whip (so the whips may need to be replaced too) and light a fire under the rest of the Congress.

  59. Bodhisattva says:

Real life just blindsided the liberals – you saw the result.

  60. NotKennedy says:

Ah shucks, I wonder what Jon Anderson would say. Reminds me of eunuchs aka Pelosi’s ardent adherents in Congress.

The bass player in that band was pretty good, so was Wakeman. Wakeman interviewed Jon Lord on a British network and the two of them enjoyed their conversation at the expense of others in the group though Wakeman was notably amusing about his preference for food and wine in contrast to the dietary practices of Anderson. McCartney has also been noted for his strong perspectives on dietary preference. But, he’s a great singer, performer, and composer.

  61. Fiberal says:

Wakeman was known for his indulgences but the bigness of Wakeman somehow also seemed to transfer to his playing. The overall enormity of that band, matched with really nice melodic hooks, has been unparalleled in that genre, in my humble opinion.

When I was a kid, I was fascinated by the ability of guitar players to sit down and crank out Steve Howe’s music. Great compositions.

I agree with you on McCartney. He was on a whole different level of talent. After the Beatles, Paul started all over by jumping in a van and running around playing local gigs with unknown musicians, that quickly morphed into another good band replete with some very catchy songs.

A little bizarre moving Linda’s corpse around like he did, but I suppose you can chalk that up to grief.

  62. Fiberal says:

I’m on the same page, kind of.

When I need to do something mindless, I like to grab a glass of wine, sit back and read 762 x 51’s love letters.

(I hate typing that name; I’m going to start calling him Midge)

My thoughts on burying the hatchet with the never-trumpers is different from yours however. This is the useless gesture that conservatives always want to do.

Whether they win or lose; whoever their candidate, they always want to “reach across the aisle”. And every time they do that, same thing happens. They get screwed.

When liberals in congress heard the phrase “compassionate conservative” they attacked like giant shrews. That led to electing a candidate with protective pigmentation that allowed him to operate with impunity.

The never-trumpers aligned with liberals. For the first woman president? You can imagine how that would have worked out.

As for the posters on MB, its such a tiny sample and the posters are just basically concerned about having the last dig in a thread. That goes nowhere.

But I think the time is now that the enemies of conservativism are crushed, driven before us, so that we can hear the lamentations of their women.

Conservatives need to understand two things: 1) liberals are now and always will be enemies of the country; and 2) when you are fighting for the life of the country, you fight.

You don’t stand aside on some ethereal “principle” and take yourself out of the war. That’s what millions of republicans did with Romney and look at what we got. (Although in the case of Trump, you had never-trumpers working actively down to the last minute of the election to defeat Trump.)

The effect of the actions of the never-trumpers on the country would have been indistinguishable from the actions of liberals. Cowliary would have been the next president.

The country is way too far gone for such indulgence.

Trump was a fail safe that could stop the inevitable decline into communism and Greek-style chaos. Were it not for an historic rejection of liberalism and the communistic overthrow of the government under BO, liberals, minorities, illegals, a lot of women; and most ignominiously bc they know better, the never trumpers for their mind-numbing reasons, almost sent us down the road to serfdom. (apologies to von Hayek)

Were it not for someone as well-known, wealthy and tough as nails and capable of fighting as Trump, sanity would have been defeated by the Cowliary machine. Sanity got a reprieve; short as it may be.

Trump fought the media, liberals and the GOP establishment like hell and won; the never-trumpers fought Trump to the assured detriment of liberty.

Anyone standing aside announcing that their “principles” shall demand that a wanton, criminal, depraved evil woman become president, when the country is at a desperate tipping point toward destruction of the constitutional republic, have at worse no principles worth having and at best, have no ability to perceive the damage that they were so embracing.

Now…work across the aisle? To what end?

That’s like asking Midge to stop playing with his toy soldiers.

  63. Bodhisattva says:

Oh, I am not saying “reach across the aisle” – note he’s still as juvenile and asanine as always in his reply below. I guess, according to him, my new name is “grebilTwerk”? Was that directed at me? How pathetic, even if it wasn’t. He has some fixation on gerbils – they must really give him some kinda thrill!

What I’m saying is if they will let bygones be bygones, then we can move forward together. I am NOT saying that we should necessarily reach across any aisles. I am saying we need to roll up our sleeves and not let any pathetic, petty people like 762×51 distract us from what must be done – in large part things that he seems to agree need to be done, even as he continues to whine and express his own butt-hurt over the outcome of the election.

It is clear he will not, as evidenced by his response, below, join the rest of us in moving forward, so we leave him behind. If he comes to his senses and catches up, fine, welcome him aboard the ride to a better future. Otherwise let him continue to crawl like the whining, sniveling baby he continues to demonstrate he is.

Really I don’t know why he is tolerated here. His post is nonsense. I am just a guy who posts here. I have no right or duty to “keep an eye on things”. And everyone (but him, apparently) knows that. I’m not suggesting he be banned – that’s up to Dave Blount and apparently he hasn’t crossed whatever line he must cross to get banished – and I’m OK with that. I can always block him myself and I may yet do that. For now I’ll just laugh at him.

  64. KirklesWorth says:

It’s laughable to get lectured from so-called “conservative” anti-Trumpers (SCATs) who’s conservatism had to be saved by moderates and independents instead of the by the conservatives themselves. SCATs didn’t learn from the country moving left by not voting for McCain, didn’t learn from the country moving left by not voting for Romney, and were apparently fine with the country moving left by not voting for the only candidate capable of stopping Hillary. Hillary would have changed the whole voting topography by adding more left-wing voters past the tipping point of no return, and conservatism would have become a quaint notion of the past.

And now after their foolishness hasn’t dawned on the SCATs, they want to keep bellyaching about how “lacking” Trump is in conservative bona-fides – so sad, too bad. These all-or-nothing conservatives demand all and consistently get nothing (or worse than nothing) and smugly preach about how the country wouldn’t be moving leftwards if everybody just did what the SCATs said. Apparently the concept of taking the country back in small steps doesn’t occur to them, so they demand a huge leap to the right that the country isn’t willing to accept.

So you may be correct about the details of what’s best for the right and for the country, but it’s of little-to-no value if there are no victories. Losing this election would have meant Hillary would have declared it a mandate of the people to continue to drag our country leftward – and the riots and protests are just demonstrations of our victory. Not fighting to win the smaller battles hasn’t won us the war – to the contrary, we have lost way too much ground.

And the ridiculous assertions some made that Trump was one of the progressives, the progressives are actually going out of their mind with hatred because of the conservative ideals he’s bringing in. It isn’t just that the SCATs were wrong, they were spectacularly wrong about a plethora of things. Trump won, conservatism won (a modest victory so far), SCATs got a black eye, and some aren’t learning a damn thing.

  65. KirklesWorth says:

How patriotic calling 59 million American patriots and heroes saving so-called “conservative” anti-Trumpers from the liberalism they haven’t stopped since McCain “cultists”. You sure love your progressive talking points. Your disdain and contempt for our voting heroes is palpable.

Yes, we know that without the electoral college and relying on the popular vote, California and New York would have delivered Hillary as president as you wanted – no need to bellyache about how your civil-war won’t be happening.

    1. Whose side will you be on if there is a civil war?
    2. Since you wanted Trump to lose, who did you want to win?

An idiot calling me a “fascist” – classic! I personally forced 59 million conservatives, republicans, independents, and probably progressives to vote for Trump, right? Imbecile.

“He is despicable and deserving of nothing but abuse.” Abuse? Are you kidding? All you’ve done is expose what a complete moron you are – like with statements like:

762×51: Not only is tRump a surefire loser but he will also cause the loss of the Senate and possibly even the House. The Trumpanzee Progressives have done what they set out to do, elect Hillary Clinton.

In case I haven’t made this perfectly clear (which I have), nobody here takes orders, demands, requests, invites, etc. from you contrary to your violent fascist fantasies. Furthermore, nobody has any intention of getting within your firing range of your lying, loser, unintelligent, dishonorable, wannabe “progressive”-killing, Hillary-helping, wannabe “civil war” fighting, republican party defecting, progressive-helping, republican candidate hating, latent-homosexual, sadomasochistic, integrity-lacking, wife-insulting, so-called “conservative” face.

  66. KirklesWorth says:

You certainly haven’t scared me off, have you Rambo? Your stupid “progressive”-killing civil war still hasn’t started – how long should we hold our breath? Wait, before you answer that, I’m waiting for your answers to:

    1. Whose side will you be on if there is a civil war?
    2. You wanted Trump to lose, who did you want to win?

Then again, who’d listen to anybody so inept that they would make this claim with such confidence:

762×51: Not only is tRump a surefire loser but he will also cause the loss of the Senate and possibly even the House. The Trumpanzee Progressives have done what they set out to do, elect Hillary Clinton.

Just keep giving us more of your “insight” you phony blowhard. Go snuggle up to your progressive lovers who speak sweet talking points into your ears.

It is an unfortunate side affect of having to deal with A-holes like you fibtard. Anyone who reads, or listens I suppose, to your sanctimonious, elitist BS automatically thinks you are an ass, an effete snob who lords over everyone he interacts with which is why you must remain hidden and anonymous on the Internet and can’t take your sniveling BS out into the real world where the peals of laughter would shatter your delusions of grandeur.

I can’t imagine how thrilled you were when you discovered the Internet and realized that you could finally project your half-baked imbecilic ideas onto others without having to risk being stuffed into a locker like you were in high school. Since then, you have come to believe your fantasies of greatness are real, feeding you schizophrenia until one day, someone challenged you to back it all up in the real world, placing your life on the line, and you accepted. Later, realizing what that meant, you chickened out and pretended it never happened, retreating back into your delusions, hiding behind other screen names until such time as the fantasy seemed real again, which brings us to today.

No fibtard, it’s not a cry for help, other than your own projection. It’s just that when anyone deals with you, they automatically think sphincter.

I don’t know that I’ve experienced the “missing word/character” problem yet, but I have had some interesting issues crop up.

“Civil” war (a misnomer if I’ve ever seen one) did happen – I think the issue was a bit more substantive then.

Of course, we’re dealing with liberals, so yeah, as remote as it seems to a sensible person (assuming I am one), I can see how they might actually protest every day Trump is in office and also get quite violent. I don’t think it will go to war since most of them don’t have weapons and are against owning them, SUPPOSEDLY, but if they start buying them in mass quantities yeah, that would be a red flag.

America has become deeply divided – that was the plan of Soros, Obama and their ilk. I suggest that though I admit war is possible, it is highly unlikely. Remember, I also said Trump would not be as bad as Clinton and that remains to be seen as well.

War is not just possible it is inevitable because the Progressives cannot transition from the current soft tyranny to their preferred hard tyranny without it. Implementation of the police state has been advanced more in the last fifteen years than in the two hundred years before it.

Most of the Russian peasants who overthrew Tsar Nicholas had no weapons, firearms anyway, but that didn’t stop them.

As for tRump being not as bad as Hillary, that is how we have arrived at the hole we are in today, settling for the lesser of two evils, the candidate that was not as bad as the other candidate, holding our nose and voting for a schmuck. Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I doubt he ever thought it would be demonstrated on such a large scale.

  92. 762x51 says:

Of course not princess, because you are safe hiding behind your keyboard. Out in the real world, you would last ten seconds.

BTW douchebag, I never insulted your wife, other than to imply she is married to you which must truly shame her. I simply observed that she would probably prefer someone who is not a snivel coward like you are.

  93. Bodhisattva says:

Yes, but as I explained, they’ve voluntarily disarmed themselves. We have the weapons. They have their rage and other nonsense that can’t take a bullet and survive.

The road to a war that they start is they have to regain the White House along with both houses of Congress and force us to take the first shots.

Yes, we have essentially been forced to choose the lesser of two evils, or to wind up with the worst evil possible, for the last 3 elections, 5 if you count G.W. Bush, 7 if you count him AND Bill Clinton, 8 if you include G.H W. Bush.

So did you say you voted for a 3rd party candidate, Clinton or SMOD?

  94. Bodhisattva says:

I don’t worry about petty nonsense. If someone goes too far, I block them and that’s the end of that. I don’t know that I have any true “friends” here. I respect all opinions, as I suggested above, until I’m given a reason not to do so.

  95. Bodhisattva says:

You really don’t gain anything of value making posts like this.

  96. Bodhisattva says:

From some of your posts here, it seems you’re doing your best to elicit adverse responses.

Though perhaps from your point of view your provocative responses are just that, responses to provocations past.

    It takes 2 to continue.

    It takes 1 to stop.

    Blocking is always an option.

And if you notice, I’m telling him the same thing, more or less.

  97. Bodhisattva says:

Yeah I saw who the reply was to – but it didn’t make it absolutely clear who the childish names within the post were directed towards.

You know, your best option would be to simply block him. When you respond the way you do, you only make yourself look bad.

And I’m telling him the same thing, more or less.

  98. Bodhisattva says:

You didn’t need to do that… I was willing to accept the suggestion that you’ve been paying more attention to it than me and it seems that was a correct conclusion. It’s also nice you admit that July the situation may have been reversed. I’ve conceded that point to you already, again just to make it clear.

Although I realize… you may be seeing an artifact of the reality that has also received much attention here – the mainstream media pulled out the stops to hurt Trump and help Hillary. What gets attention here ultimately comes MOSTLY from the media, I believe. If the media is running 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1 with bad stories about Trump v. bad stories about Clinton then I suppose that might explain your results, too.

Does not excuse a lack of fairness/balance here, just sayin’.

  99. KirklesWorth says:

You’re so stupid that you don’t even listen to your own demands – why should anyone else? You haven’t proven squat, and it is not the responsibility for others to disprove what hasn’t been proven – contrary to your lazy “intellect”. Now, as you’ve screamed at me:

Your “interpretation” does not equal FACT, jackass. Come on pipsqueak, you made the statement, NOW BACK IT UP, COWARD! PROVE WHERE I SAID THAT YOU LYING PUDDLE OF DOG VOMIT!

Speaking of waiting, I’m still waiting for an answer to:

    1. Whose side will you be on if there is a civil war?
    2. You wanted Trump to lose, who did you want to win?

  100. KirklesWorth says:

Yeah, I wouldn’t last ten seconds because you would ambush and kill me like a good cowardly progressive.

That’s all you’ve got to deny – insulting my wife? You’re so stupid you confirmed everything and added another lie on top of it. You did insult my wife you lying scumbag:

762×51: Hey, speaking of vomit sacks, how’s your wife, princess? Still waiting for you to say all this crap to my face, coward.

The sniveling coward here is you. Hiding behind your guest account, afraid to answer questions like these:

    1. Whose side will you be on if there is a civil war?
    2. You wanted Trump to lose, who did you want to win?

  101. KirklesWorth says:

More not-so-latent-homosexual fantasies. You are on the wrong blog – “Homo’s for Hillary” must be out there somewhere – or maybe you can start it yourself.

  102. KirklesWorth says:

Oh, yeah…I “dished out a lot”. Like when I said this to you:

762×51: Culprit, LMAO! You want civility in the middle of a war you started? Fat chance, douche bag. I just wish could see how long a prissy little f__k like you lasts when the shooting starts, minutes or seconds? You can walk around taking down information so you can turn others in later. Here’s a tip for you, if you suddenly feel very warm and can’t seem to draw a breath followed by deep, intense pain, you are hit. Unless you take the round in your cranial vault. LMFAO!! This comment was deleted.

    Oops…sorry, that was you.

  103. KirklesWorth says:

But you Bodhisattva defended yourself when criticized, which I applaud you for. In that vein, I wish to shed light on its “brilliant insights” and irrational attacks, not stop them. Too many people suffer its ridiculousness.

  104. KirklesWorth says:

    1. Whose side will you be on if there is a civil war?
    2. You wanted Trump to lose, who did you want to win?

  105. KirklesWorth says:

Thanks, I think we know each others’ positions. You practice avoidance – I don’t have that luxury, nor am I any longer inclined to do so. I was off for a month and as soon as it found out I was back on it resumed the belligerence. Besides, it is a glutton for punishment as it continues to challenge me on things it knows I’m capable of schooling it on.

  106. KirklesWorth says:

Sorry, the baby is you – just as you whined to Dave Blount about how “defenseless” you are against the big bad abusive Trump-supporting meanies haranguing you:

762×51: This new policy sets an RoE that lets them run wild while tying the hands of regular posters leaving us defenseless against them. I doubt many of us will remain long to just come here and take their abuse. I don’t mind fighting back, but have no interest in being harangued everyday by those I cannot effectively oppose.

Funny, I thought you were the one admitting to haranguing:

762×51: It is one of the reasons I seek to drive him out of here, he is scum.

Sounds like the admission of a haranguer to me. But still too afraid to answer my questions, eh?

    1. Whose side will you be on if there is a civil war?
    2. You wanted Trump to lose, who did you want to win?

  107. Bodhisattva says:

Knowing better than to waste time on petty, childish distractions is not “avoidance”, it’s common sense.

  108. KirklesWorth says:

Like avoiding muslims, avoiding illegal aliens, avoiding black lives matter, etc.? So how are you going to respond to TED in the other thread who said (nice rhyming):

Bodhisattva: If you want to waste your time and effort looking silly that is your business. I was making a suggestion, it’s not my place to tell you what to do.

TED: OMG, I hadn’t realized YOU were a Brownshirt also, I guess because I didn’t pay that much attention to you. It WlLL be LESS now. TTFN.

Are you just going to walk away after being improperly called a nazi after it invoked Godwin’s Law? No need to point out how unhinged they are and like progressives?

  109. Bodhisattva says:

As I have explained, sometimes the best way to respond to nonsense is to ignore it.

I respond to posts as I run down my e-mail and see the notifications. I usually go from newest to oldest.

I get a lot of actually IMPORTANT e-mail and so sometimes I am further compelled to skip the nonsense.

I haven’t seen the notification from that post. When I get to it I will give it what I feel it deserves.

When an idiot calls me a Brownshirt (particularly when it simply displays how little he knows about me) it doesn’t necessarily rate an answer. My skin is apparently not quite so thin as yours.

And note, his remark is that he will be paying less attention to me now. That is a win for me IF HE FOLLOWS THROUGH.

  110. KirklesWorth says:

Or your tolerance of absurdity is higher than mine. Either way, I do not suffer bullies lightly. One person’s “thick skin” is another person’s “passive”. I think evil (perhaps too strong a word in this scenario) needs to be confronted, not avoided. Not that there aren’t merits to “living to play another day”…

  111. Bodhisattva says:

First of all, I have been known to sink to that level (childlish taunting and name calling) a few times so perhaps one can call me a hypocrite for suggesting others not do it.

Second, I acknowledge that they are doing it – and when they do the temptation to do it back is high.

I don’t tell you what to do, I just suggest you stick to the facts and resist the temptation to lower yourself and your effectiveness by responding in kind.

By all means, point out where they’re lying or they’ve got things wrong or whatever. But let them be the ones who show what children they are.

Be the adult – that’s my advice. And you are of course free to take it or leave it.

  112. Bodhisattva says:

See my recent replies to your posts in which I point out that you do seem to be responding to their nonsense in a more adult fashion without sinking to their level.
