Big Government Leaves Its Mark on Bundy Ranch

A show of force by patriots caused the army of federal agents sent to terrorize Cliven Bundy and his family to back down for now, but even if they don’t come back for a while, it won’t be easy to forget they were there:

Fox News toured the damage — allegedly caused by the Bureau of Land Management — which included holes in water tanks and destroyed water lines and fences. According to family friends, the bureau’s hired “cowboys” also killed two prize bulls.

“They had total control of this land for one week, and look at the destruction they did in one week,” said Corey Houston, friend of rancher Cliven Bundy and his family. “So why would you trust somebody like that? And how does that show that they’re a better steward?”

Here’s how they justify the wanton destruction:

On a Friday night conference call, BLM officials told reporters that “illegal structures” on Bundy’s ranch — water tanks, water lines and corrals — had to be removed to “restore” the land to its natural state and prevent the rancher from restarting his illegal cattle operation. …

Bundy’s friends say the BLM wranglers told them the bulls were shot because they were dangerous and could gore their horses. One bull was shot five times.

The bull was in a pen at the time.

The persecution of the Bundys has been justified with references to an allegedly “threatened” tortoise that the Feds themselves have slated for euthanasia. However,

[Houston] said BLM vehicles appear to have crushed a tortoise burrow near the damaged water tank. “How’s that conservation?” he asked.

With friends like the collectivist goons running the federal government, desert tortoises don’t need enemies. The same goes for American citizens.

I have to call bullshit on this one. From the video, the water tanks and holding pen barbed wire had serious rust showing from years, if not decades (it’s Nevada!) of exposure.
If they want us to believe the BLM did this in the last month they need to come up with more convincing evidence. The “cow” shows no evidence to me of being a “prize bull”, nor do I see any gunshot wounds. As for the “crushed tortoise burrow”; How do we know it wasn’t a coyote?

    This is a lie.

My wife & I both grew up on wheat & cattle ranches in Eastern WA. I also went back to my families operation after leaving the Army. I’ve spend many hours on horseback in close proximity to cattle (bulls included) and have only been challenged a couple of times. Usually by a grumpy momma cow, rarely by a bull. As a cowboy you move your horse away from the conflict….PERIOD.

I guess these “hired cowboys” didn’t realize their horses are faster than any bull alive.

    I’ll bet they’re real cowboys alright……

The libs hate this rancher for letting his cattle graze on so-called “federal land”, yet they brutishly defend the real lawbreakers like the Obama, Holder, Reid, the Clintons, llegal aliens, and Muslim terrorists.

Read this carefully again. The BLM is justifying their destruction, not saying it didn’t happen.

Well patriots, this government has armed almost all federal employees against the people. We are in a situation of being occupied by a foreign government. Now we know how the Vietnamese and the people of the Middle East feel.
