Bloomberg Alienates the Elderly

Let’s see, who else does Bloomberg need to alienate to become even more unelectable than Shrillary? He has driven off farm and factory workers, women, pro-lifers, people who like freedom … how about the elderly?

Democrat presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg believes that the government should essentially just let elderly men and women who’ve been diagnosed with cancer die, because treating them would use up funds that could instead be spent on the youth.

To quote Bloomberg,

“If you show up with prostate cancer, you’re 95 years old, we should say … we can’t do anything. If you’re a young person, we should do something about it.”

The age of 95 will become 85, then 75, then 65, according to budgetary demands.

Let’s not single out Bloomberg. Every Democrat candidate pushing socialized medicine would leave the elderly to die. The others are just less forthcoming about it. They know that rationing of healthcare is a fundamental requirement of socialized medicine.

A moderate Democrat is one who would allow the elderly to purchase their own insurance, assuming they have any money left after they have paid for everyone else’s through taxation. The Bernie Sanders/Elizabeth Warren wing would not even allow that. They would make private health insurance illegal, so that even the well-to-do would be sentenced to death unless they are rich enough to pay out of pocket, like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are.
