Blueprint for “Sustainable” Totalitarianism

To those who say Obama is just a bumbling punk who was placed in office on strictly racial grounds by politically correct establishment fools and who has nothing on his mind but to spread our money around and stroke his own preposterous ego, I say: if only. America can survive some of the corruption, profligacy, and incompetence that have been on such prominent display lately. What it may not survive is moonbattery on a massive scale — or as Obama calls it, Fundamental Transformation:

The Obama administration should dramatically reorganize the relationships between America’s federal departments and agencies, and overcome legal barriers to help install the nebulous principle of “sustainability” across government, the economy and society at large, according to a new National Research Council study sponsored by many of the federal departments that would be most affected.

The study also calls for installing sustainability in the “culture of government” and recommends that the U.S. look for inspiration to a number of “national sustainable development strategies” adopted under the United Nation’s controversial Agenda 21, a highly detailed blueprint for reworking the global economy and environment that was reaffirmed at last year’s Rio + 20 summit on sustainable development.

Sustainability is progressive-speak for totalitarianism. For a society to be sustainable is for every aspect of your life to be micromanaged by authoritarian bureaucrats.

Sponsoring agencies for the study include the Environmental Protection Agency, which already rivals the IRS as perhaps the most menacing branch of the unaccountable federal bureaucracy.

The aim of the proposed radical overhaul: to overcome “impediments or barriers” that “frustrate federal government efforts to create linkages” between agencies and other non-federal partners to address important “sustainability issues” that affect the country and the planet.

That is, to expand the reach of the federal government into the increasingly few areas where it does not already impose its will directly.

Mastermind utopians are still having some troubles with the roadblocks our Founding Fathers set up for them over two centuries ago.

One of the major impediments, the study says, is created by America’s “basic framework of government, established by law,” which is “one of separated and dispersed authority,” in which “government agencies at all levels — federal, state, local, tribal and even international — can only do what they have been authorized to do by their governing authorities — namely, Congress, state legislatures, etc.” — not to mention the U.S. Constitution. …

“The maintenance and enhancement of sustainability,” the study insists, “cannot afford to be constrained by fragmentation of authority, inadequate sharing of information, the structure of government, or other complexities.”

The division of powers must still be serving its purpose, or tyrants would not want to put an end to it.

The new system of government organization, the study says, would bring federal, state and local branches of government together with “stakeholders,” activists and other interested parties in ways that would not depend on the old legal restrictions and facilitate new methods of dealing with the problems of creating a “sustainable society.”

The main instrument for accomplishing that change would be a new National Sustainability Policy that could be created by presidential executive order…

What would America be like as a sustainable society? Obama told us back in 2008:

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK.”

In the name of our transnational ruling class, you will be forbidden from eating until you are no longer hungry — so that the planet may be sustained.

If you want more detail, you won’t need to wait long to see sustainable utopia for yourself. It will look vaguely like America, except without the wealth and freedom.

As the study puts it, “major efforts will be required because the required changes are so huge.”

Similarly, the effort required by patriots to stop this from happening will be huge.

Wow. I suppose it was only a matter of time before moonbats started arguing against the separation of powers. It is after all, one of the biggest defenses against tyranny. I guess I just thought I’d never really see it.

And I suppose the professors at our esteemed universities are parroting this garbage to their impressionable young students.

We are seriously all just screwed.

    When Death Camps Are Necessary

    Published: December 29, 2012

Despite a society’s best intentions sometimes it is necessary for it to do what is considered taboo. After considerable efforts have been made to reason with those who strive to undermine Progress, after immeasurable efforts are made to properly educate seditious dissenters, after exhaustive effort has been made to silence, marginalize and finally punish – the Ultimate Solution is Occam’s Razor.

The Death Penalty is nearing extinction in Progressive, Civilized Society for crimes against persons and property – rightly so. However, in the case of Sedition and Agitation against Progressing Society it may be the only remedy once all other forms of remediation are exhausted.

Certain groups have proven impossible to mollify through less extreme measures. Even under prescribed psychotropic pharmaceuticals, incarceration and repeated attempts at re-education and punishment, they continue to spread un-healthy ideas like Cancer to healthy individuals.

Modern Medicine has long recognized the need to excise diseased tissue from healthy tissue despite the disfigurement and pain associated with the operation in order to preserve Life. The argument must be made that sedition is Cancer to the Society which it metastases to and must therefore be excised with as much rigor as a malignancy with a surgical scalpel.

Death Camps must only be used in the most extreme necessity, however like radiation and chemotherapy to a skilled Oncologist, they can be used quite effectively to preserve the Life of the Progressive Body.

In this Transitional Period in US History, we as a Progressive Society are much like the first creatures arising from the primordial seas onto the land. Extreme elements within our society would prefer to pull All of Us back in to the water only to drown, just as we set upon our first steps to soaring amongst the stars. As a People, the majority of us have now twice demonstrated that we wish to arise from our primordial past, to new Transformative Heights. Yet, there is a destructive minority that seeks only to lure us all to watery deaths singing a Siren’s songs of false histories and ideas.

When a serpent cannot be dealt with by reason, isolation or punishment; when it continues to endanger all of us, we are left with no option other than to slay it.

My State WI was marching toward Agenda 21. But since Scott Walker came into office that has been slowed and in some cases stopped, like when he stopped the high speed rail plans and work on the line. This worthless train would have been running at tax payers expense between Milwaukee and Madison and farther with idea that populations would be compelled to move to either cities or along selected urban rail line cities. Any state that is pushing high speed rail is really pushing agenda 21 doctrine. By doing simple google searches anyone can look to see what agenda 21 type groups are located in their states counties or towns, Its worth the look.

  7. Kevin R. says:

There’s an aspect of the separation of powers that needs to be addressed and rectified:

As part of the long-standing Progressive era agenda the congress has usurped the judicial branch by making the congress judge and jury, declaring that harm has been done and then writing law to address and punish the guilty. This is the entire premise behind that has created the leviathan of the out of control regulatory State.

Imagine if, rather than the Progressive-era idea of regulation, actual real harm to actual real people had to be proved by actual evidence of harm in court. No regulatory agencies, the unaccountable arms of one man – the president, need to be; if we allow the real separation of powers to be. The very first usurpation of the progressives over a hundred years ago was to use the congress to be the judicial branch in the matters that were high profile and important to the progressives. And they did this on purpose with the stated goal of creating extra-constitutional agencies within the federal government.

But the way they did it was to use congress to usurp the judicial branch.

Now they want to use ‘unsustainability’ as a harm. Whatever that is. Imagine if, rather than being able to use regulatory agencies to enforce their judgement of harm they actually had to go to courts of law and prove that harm has been done by one party to another party and use actual evidence. They would be stopped cold. If the whole collectivist agenda were subject to this simple check on tyranny the Left would be stopped cold.

This usurpation of judicial power is the foundation on which the Left has been able to destroy the other separation of powers and give the president unaccountable power.

The congress long ago usurped the power of the judiciary. A real judiciary branch is one of our best safe-guards against tyranny. But we can’t use it the way it was intended as the Progressives have undermined it as a safe-guard of our liberty.
